Some tips, from a person who has been severely traumatized from since childhood about home intruders & invasion readiness. I lost my best friend to a home intruder who mol3st3d, & killed her & her family. I have created a list of things that have helped keep me safe & prepared if things ever go wrong. IN MY HOUSE : When asleep, I keep the area around my bed clean, nothing I can trip over if I need to get up quickly. I keep pepper spray, flashlight & something solid like a bat just in case. I usually sleep with a hallway light on or bathroom light to see footsteps at my door. Yes, get a gun if you can & keep it in a safe unloaded, look up self defense, how to handle the weapon properly & aim, & your children it is NOT A TOY. - no glass windows around my front door as this easy to shatter & someone could reach in & unlock it, if the intruder doesn’t care about the noise they’re making that’s a sign they’re coming to really harm you if they’re not being sneaky. -alarm intercoms that tell you what door or window is being opened -Window locks security cameras that you can observe from your phone are great, -PETS! Inside or outside dogs both are great patrollers! (If outside try not to call your dog by its name too much in case someone is listening, they might use your dogs name to gain their trust!) COMING & GOING - if you have nice neighbors get to know their schedule, so you can recognize unfamiliar cars that are in your area too long. They might be stalking. Look for a company logo on the vehicle, no phone number or website? Feel free to call the cops & have them secure the area. - don’t open the door !! if someone is aggressively knocking, if they know your home & they don’t leave say the cops are down the street & they are trespassing, someone could be trying to distract you while talking to you & have someone else go around to your back entrances. Don’t stand directly behind the door either stay off to the side ready to fire your gun or hit them as soon as they break in. - leave work boots outside your front door - if you leave, shout something like “be back in a bit guys with the pizza! Let me know what kind of beer to get!” Or “dad, what did you need me to get again from hardware store again?” If someone has been eying your house say something to let them know big strong men are home. Sounds silly but I’ve done it for years. -if you can check your security camera from your phone do it before you go back inside in case an intruder is waiting, -be sure to notice if anything seems off if you come home and your front door is unlocked and you know you locked it go to a neighbors house or drive to a store parking lot/ police station if you feel unsafe. I can probably think of more IF IM ALREADY HOME : If I’m home & I know an intruder-s are in my home I want to remain calm & look for something to defend myself with & wake up my spouse & call 911. If you can’t talk out loud try texting 911 or a neighbor, send multiple texts to get their attention. Barricade and hide if you can’t escape. In my restroom I pull the drawer in front of the door for extra security. Use your bug spray, cleaner, anything around you to spray in the eyes or mouth if the intruder is face to face with you, groin, eyes, mouth & head are great places to aim. Push them down the stairs, unleash your dogs on them, if you’re in the middle of a physical altercation try to move towards a door for quick escape. I hope no one is ever In this situation but these things happen, be smart when coming & going, be alert & watch your surroundings always, & trust yourself enough to fight like hell if you need to.

I had a gsd when I was like in 4rth a intruder broke in I wa scared so bad but still i had the guts to open my door as there were noices of screaming I thought my parents were in danger I took a bat walk slowly and the front door was open my mother and father had called 911 but by then the burglar had escaped we saw in cctv out gsd was asleep he had bitten the intrude thrice or something out gsd follows the intruder but my dad dint let him escape
Start Narrativity really? That’s like telling someone who has you hostage can I go like they’re not going to if you run from them you’re probably gonna get shot.
It actually happened once when I was a kid at my grandfather's house. I think I was 7 or 8 when it happened. We actually got up, he got his axe on the right hand, and air rifle on the left hand, while my grandmother and I each pick a wooden club and yell for help. Fortunately he ran away.. Our Neighborhood was pretty close together, village people tends to be more solid than those of big cities.

Ooh. I remember a man breaking in our house to steal my mom's phone. We were all asleep, but the thief didn't know my mom's a light sleeper (not to mention violent) so when she awoke and saw the strange man, she immediately took one of our knives on the wall pocket and chased him out. My father woke up on this commotion and followed my mom and soon the whole town joined in. Long story short: The robber got more than a scratch and we've never had a break in since. Lesson: Keep you knives at arms-length.

another thing thats really helpful is a security system such as guardian, ADT ,or xfinity home in case of a home robbery, if the alarm is on stay or away mode, it will start beeping and if it continues beeping for over 30 minutes it will automatically call the police department and send you a notification

There is a difference between a home invasion and a burglary. A home invasion happens at night and usually is for hurthing someone. Burglary happens during the noon and is just a "i am gona take this" scenario
Y'all should include the different types of people that may break into your house and the reasons for which they may do so. Most people that are just after your stuff would break in during the day chances are if someone is breaking in at night they are much more dangerous.
I had a guy who was after our stuff, a former employee after some client records and a friend of my neighbors who came into my house by accident. All were treated the same way initially.
They forgot, don't put boxes from new electronics out in the open on the curb for trash pickup. Especially after Christmas. Its like advertising to everyone that you just got an expensive new tv.
Another good tip is to download some tough dog breeds or load bar king noises so you can scare them off (if they are outside or downstairs while you are upstairs)
the other day I heard banging on my door and it sounded like someone was trying to get in, right away I was panicked cause it sounded like someone was trying hard to get in. I didn’t know what to do so I got a candle and went out the back door, (I got the candle to hit whoever was trying to get in, it was the first thing I saw) anyways I went out my back door and started tip toeing to the front and peeked over and no one was there. I went around a little more, and you know those screen doors? well the main door was open and the screen was closed and I saw a black figure inside my house. I then looked over to the street and saw my moms car was back... it was just my sister using the door knocker thing so I would let her in. BUT THAT THING IS SO LOUD!! That was one of the most scary experiences ever.
How to Survive: "If you hear any unusual sound, keep quiet, fight your fear and try to survive." Me: *is home alone and hears unusual sound* "HOLY SHIT. JESUS SAVE ME. HOLY FATHER OF GOD. HELPPP!!"
I'm 13 and when I'm home alone I always keep my phone holder, its like a tripod, but it got a hard metal-Convertable phone holder on the top, when it's closed it like a heavy metal tip that sticks out, so i always keep it near me, it can do some hard damage
If your parents have guns, you should ask them to train you. Demonstrate responsibility to them. If not go buy yourself a 12 gauge when you turn 18. Till then go get you a good old Louisville Slugger.
For those of you who watch the walking dead, you should probably understand this, but if not I’ll still explain: So basically I keep a wooden bat in my room that my dad gave me for decoration, it’s based off of a bat that a character named Negan uses, it’s basically a wooden bat wrapped in barb wire, so whenever I think I hear something in the house my first instinct is the grab the “Negan bat.”
It's scary when you have kids and are female especially, although it's scary for anyone and rightfully so. You have to have a technique that you KNOW will work, especially if you're someone who gets in freeze fight or flight easily when threatened. Some people are more vulnerable to this than others.
@@mellovestodraw Kind of sad tbh. If some dumbfuck broke in right now he'd catch 16 9mm jacketed hollowpoint rounds to the chest and face. And the state of Texas would say "well, duh, I'd have done that same thang'"
@@byronhenry6518 did you know burglars are way more likely to take your weapon from you than for you to actually use it in self defense? burglars aren't going to be carrying guns 99% of the time. if they're there to steal stuff, getting caught with a gun will jack up the amount of potential prison time they're facing. they're not idiots. if they are already armed, though, they're there for more than just stealing stuff and you're already at a major disadvantage anyway. the idea of a good guy with a gun is a myth, and you're making yourself less safe by thinking a gun will protect you
@@sethescope Thats just not true at all. It doesn’t even make sense. I know exactly where all my guns are hidden, what condition they’re in, how they operate. A burglar won’t even know how to get from the front door to my bedroom. I’ve not seen a single case of a burglar shooting someone with their own gun. I have however seen hundreds of cases where burglars and home invaders are shot by residents.

Here’s another tip: There’s this new invention called a firearm. It’s basically a piece of metal that puts little holes in the intruder, even from way across the room. It works even better than pepper spray or “heavy objects”.
Bruh. one time I thought somebody broke into my house because I heard somebody by my window telling my dogs to shut up (the dogs were barking) so I got up and told my family members at first they didn’t believe me, but after a few tries they were convinced. They called the cops, and the cops searched the house, the backyard, the streets, and nobody. It was just a possum on top of the fence and the dogs were barking at it. And police think it was just a neighbor telling the dogs to shut up from the other side of the fence. I don’t know if I believe it, it sounded awfully close to my window. But who knows?
When you hear a burglar is trying to break in, turn lights on! They often wait for no one to be home so it will scare them away. And, be quiet while doing that, because then they dont know how many people they are dealing with. This is how my mother once did it while she was home alone, she heard him running away over the gravel outside. Worked like a charm.
@@probablydex no, cause at this point they are still outside. They will run away and try again at some other place. Burglars are often even more scared of you than you are of them
@@probablydex yes, but they will never choose fight. There is no reason for that cause they can still flee without trouble. You do know that the average time burglars are in the house is like bearely 5 minutes. They avoid contact with people at all times, because thats when they get in trouble definitely. They have no violent intentions at all
That doesn't always work. I had somebody in my house once who I realize that cased my house a week earlier. He was coming to rob it thinking that no one would be home but I was home working, but me being there did not scare him off.

When my mum was younger (about in her 20’s) she said that someone tried getting in her front door, so she went to her balcony and screamed for help at the top of her lungs. The intruder got scared and left.
Heard breathing while in my room with window open, came downstairs near my parent and nothing, no one else is supposed to be here, hopefully this will help if needed.
Ok here’s my advice for ya so if you’re in a two story house and someone breaks in down stairs just grab your gun and just start blasting rounds into the floor until you stop hearing noises
How to survive a house break-in: (What I would do edition) Step #1: Press SOS on your watch and get to the police Step #2: Get to the iPad and turn it to low volume, And call the number the iPad has so you can alert your grandfather so they can alert the neighbor Step #3: Get your pair of scissors and your bin of fidgets and find the monkey noodle Step #4: Whip the Noodle around and throw it at the Fricker Step #5: Stab them with the scissors Step #6: NOW CALL YOUR MUM 😅

I believe it's justified to attack and/or kill the intruder. If they enter your house, threaten you, or threaten family, I believe it's justified because the bill of rights states that it is legal to own a gun
take full advantage of the "home field advantage". You know the terrain, the intruders don't. Round it off with some common sense security measures and a weapon of choice and you pretty much have the intruders at your mercy.
Our laws are stupid in the UK. If a intruder hurts themselves while in or on your property you can get into trouble. You are not even allowed to have barbed wire along the top of your fence in case the person breaking in and hurts themselves. Also if you defend yourself and hurt the burglar you will get into trouble in the UK. As I said the law related to defending yourself or property in the UK is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!
I have this fear. I am scared that at night someones gonna come for me. I get scared and nervous. I know that for adults it's not really a fear but I get anxious and scared when it comes to intruders. At night sometimes I get too scared to go to sleep and my stomach feels weird and I would end up sick. And the thing is my door doesn't fully shut nor does it even have a lock so it makes me feel even worse. And if I get too scared, I would cry and pray to God. I hope this fear would just evaporate from my mind. I'm glad that it doesn't always happen. They can take my money but taking my life is a no deal.
Buy a gun, learn to shoot. If you live in a place where you can’t, get a deadly weapon of some kind. Learn to use that. You’re part of the most dominant species on the planet. ACT LIKE IT. Our ancestors could kill saber tooth cats and mammoths with a sharp stick. You can too if you put your mind to it. Be dangerous, be deadly, but have it under control. You’ll feel much better. Stop quivering. Life is scary, I know. So be scarier then life itself, yourself.
I had a dream when this happened they came in with a knife and they stole and break things in the house and the intruder came upstairs and I woke up because I heard noise and the intruder went to the parents bedroom. He got his knife and was about to stab my parents but I got my metal hammer and hit him just in time before he killed my parents. Then I had to fight him. One time I caught this guy robbing my house i saw him I caught him I got him broke his arms smashed his head and threw him behind the couch this next guy tried to rob my house but left right after he saw a body sticking out the couch
How to survive a house break in Step 1-get your weapon Step 2- hunt the intruder Step 3- fight Step 4- make sure the intruder is some want breathing still ( as the police in the UK can and will arrest you for killing a home invader)( I know it's silly but It does happen) Step 5- go back to sleep
Really they will arrest you from defending yourself during a home invasion. In the us you could just shoot the dude and the worst thing that’s going to happen is that your carpet is going to be ruined
Yes, only in Germany it is not possible to own a firearm for self-defense / defense of your home. We have one of the strictest gun laws in the world, unlike in Austria and Switzerland, where gun laws are just as liberal as you are in the USA. Even for a German who has overcome this year-long procedure of bureaucratic and official hurdles and has enough money (costs a lot in Germany) for the whole thing, technically speaking, he can hardly defend himself in the event of a burglary/other threats in your home. Because in the Federal Republic of Germany it is compulsory to keep your firearms in a safe and the ammunition for them in another, second safe (if you violate this, the authorities will come and take your permission and weapons away) So it would be a lot during a break-in It takes too long to get your weapons and ammunition out of the safe. by that time the burglar is gone ...
@@Karl_ACME I had the impression that Germany was more gun friendly than most of the rest of Europe. Take the UK for instance, they're much more gun restrictive if Im correct.
@@YouthFreedomFighters Well maybe Britain is at the top of the list when it comes to strict gun laws within Europe. But Germany will certainly come shortly afterwards. As I said, you have to be a marksman in a club (takes years) or a hunter (the expensive hunting permit test in Germany should be more difficult than studying). There are some countries in Europe that are more liberal like: Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Finland, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and even Countries in the Balkans like Serbia and Bosnia. But the trend in terms of strict gun laws is increasing. They also want to centralize and restrict gun laws more and more through the EU. And that is the case worldwide. Have not the gun laws in New Zealand, Australia and Canada been tightened in recent years ?! In Germany gun laws was more liberal, too before 1978. The peoples simply let this freedom be taken from them.
@@Karl_ACME I believe the last time the gun laws in Australia were tightened was in 1996 when they banned semi automatic rifles and other guns, this happened in the wake of the Port Arthur Massacre. I don't know if the gun laws have been tightened since then but their handgun laws have always been quite strict. New Zealand gun laws were tightened after the Christchurch mosque shootings and Im not aware of any recent tightening of gun laws in Canada.
As we know prevention is better than cure

#1, own a gun. Robbers don't want to be challenged, so if they see you armed with a gun, they'll think twice. This will also even the odds if the robber has a weapon or more than one person with them.

Don't be scared, there's a few things you can do to ensure your safety.
#1, own a gun. Robbers don't want to be challenged, so if they see you armed with a gun, they'll think twice. This will also even the odds if the robber has a weapon or more than one person with them.
#2, get a trained dog or security system. Again most robbers want a robbery to be quick and easy, them seeing a german shepard patrolling the house or a few security cameras will make them think twice.
#3, get a nonlethal weapon or learn martial arts. Again, most robbers don't want any resistance. If you present a problem for them they'll most likely abort. Learning a martial art will allow you to protect yourself and your loved ones, and the common robber will not be prepared for it. If you're not into guns, buying and learning how to properly use something like a taser, bat, or baton will enable you to protect yourself as well. I have most of these and feel pretty comfortable.

Ooh. I remember a man breaking in our house to steal my mom's phone. We were all asleep, but the thief didn't know my mom's a light sleeper (not to mention violent) so when she awoke and saw the strange man, she immediately took one of our knives on the wall pocket and chased him out.
The transitional promotions to next videos on this channel are very well done.❤🎉
the other day I heard banging on my door and it sounded like someone was trying to get in, right away I was panicked cause it sounded like someone was trying hard to get in.

They called the cops, and the cops searched the house, the backyard, the streets, and nobody. It was just a possum on top of the fence and the dogs were barking at it. When you hear a burglar is trying to break in, turn lights on! They often wait for no one to be home so it will scare them away. And, be quiet while doing that, because then they dont know how many people they are dealing with. This is how my mother once did it while she was home alone, she heard him running away over the gravel outside. Worked like a charm.
honestly that would make it worse, they will take out any weapon they have, one of the best options is to keep a butterfly knife near you or something
@@probablydex no, cause at this point they are still outside. They will run away and try again at some other place. Burglars are often even more scared of you than you are of them
but if they come armed, they will be prepared for anything you pull leaving fight or flight as your only options
@@probablydex yes, but they will never choose fight. There is no reason for that cause they can still flee without trouble. You do know that the average time burglars are in the house is like bearely 5 minutes. They avoid contact with people at all times, because thats when they get in trouble definitely. They have no violent intentions at all
