Shovel Knight remains a fantastic game. Love the old aesthetic, but a Zelda style Castlevania ask game with Gameboy color graphics speaks to me on so many more levels. I cannot wait for this.
I'm a big fan of having condensed game design, having set borders in rooms and intricately laying out the items and linteractions in those areas. Just little things like having everything laid of mathematically with set tile sizes and how your characters set speed and jump distance interact with that. So I'm a big fan of Mina bringing that over from the gameboy Zeldas!
This is my first hearing of this, and it immediately reminded me of Link’s Awakening when the video opened. I firmly believe Shovel Knight is one of the best games/franchises ever made, so I am beyond stoked for this!
They are likely doing shovel knight 3D already. They were hiring for 3D modellers a while a go and the same engine they make mina with was demoed with 3D tools I believe. @@AquaTwist_
I backed it bigtime. Its the most ive ever given to a kickstarter and its only becuase shovelknight is my favorite retro style indie ever made, and a link to the past/Links awakening are two of my favorite zelda games.
Its awesome that mina the hollower is getting a physcial release. Im getting it for switch. Looks so amazing. Just like a gameboy style of game for modern day platforms.
The game looks fantastic visually but also brutally difficult, especially since it's emulating classic Castlevania vibes. It's a bit of a turn-off and I'll probably pass unless there's a good sale.
Am I the only one still really bothered by Yacht Club going to Kickstarter for this game in spite of openly having the ability to fund it themselves? Like, the game looks incredible and normally I couldn’t wait to add it to the collection, but the practice genuinely bothers me to the point that I don’t want to endorse it by purchasing the game.

Oh wow. This is the the first time I’m hearing about this but it looks absolutely awesome. I’m living for the GBC style graphics.
I adore the GBC artstyle and the Link's Awakenin-esque gameplay! Can't wait to play this!

This is probably one of my most anticipated upcoming games. It's got so many things I enjoy in gaming wrapped up into one package. Looking forward.
I live for this GBC aesthetic! 😍
Between this and the 3D project YCG are hinting at, I'm really excited.
A 3D Platformer from YCG would be incredible!

i need this game in my life it feels like i've been waiting on its release forever
First time I've heard of this game, it looks really cool. Thanks for sharing it!

A new game from Yacht Club and somehow I am only just NOW hearing about it!?
This looks incredible
Soooooooo want this game ever since I found out about it.
Unfortunately, I'll have no way to play this unless it gets a console release... I hope it at least comes to Nintendo Switch.
This *WILL* be a classic. The same way that Shovel Knight is a classic.
I love the Gameboy Color graphics!
I pre-ordered the physical release
feels like a long time ago
Can't wait to play it
This looks fire🔥
Good thing we still have those a midst all the remakes coming out these days.
So from the gameplay I see, I might as well just replay Link's Awakening or the Oracle series.
Seems like it’ll be cool
This looks like Castlevania.
I hope it's inspired by the story of Links Awakening as well
fyi the R in macabre is silent. muh-cob
So it's Game Boy Zelda with a gruesome theme and mouse protagonist. Alright.
When this game is coming out?
Unknown, the devs said they'll release it when it's done.
@@thierrys85 cool thanks I'ma just wait until I'm 60 for this game to come out lol 🤣
@@thierrys85kinda bizarre to me, it looks almost finished from a polish standpoint. How much longer could it take?
@@2011supergamer I dunno but I'm sure the devs will know when they're satisfied with it. 🤷🏼♂️
Seeing the dev streams shows the game is still far from done. What you see now is basically everything they have for now.
Why is this game taking so long to release...
Making games takes time and I’d rather them take the time they need to make it the best it can be and not rush it out
