I can’t believe how many times you have been back to this site. I really can’t believe how no one at the site believes that you can not do maintenance on the fan coil units. LG should put plugs on the outside of the metal housing so you can unplug all the harnesses and remove the housing completely. You guys be safe out there. Keep making them and I’ll keep watching.
Little tip for those white PCB clips. take the pen bit out of a bic ball point pen and push the outer over the pointy bit. then pull the board . easy peasy Long nose pliers can be real awkward at times.
I was wondering if the customer gave the ok to clean the inside units? Because they would be spending alot of money doing what you did, every couple of months. Great video and job well done. 👏
They said they approved it but I have yet to receive any confirmation or signature. We will see. The whole building needs to be cleaned and then maintained. Thank you! Appreciate the support 🙏🔧⚡️
Yep allays get the order approved and signed off prior to scheduling the work which is the most important procedure of running a successful business. Top job very valuable knowledge and one of the very best in depth channels on the web. 1😃👍👍👍💯
I use the magnet out of a discarded microwave to hold the screw when disassembly of stuff on a roof. Stick it to the device and it holds your screws bits etc nicely but not too strongly. Looks like the inverter let the magic smoke out.😂
Those are full inverter units. Way more efficient if you have a huge swing in load between seasons, also super efficient for heating. And no contactors that can get pitted or dirt stuck in them. Takes a nosedive, though if you get water on the boards (although they look pretty well conformal coated) or just just don't put in the heatsink screws. That IGBT kicks out quite a bit of heat which needs to be sinked.
Hey brother great video but l have a question why damage this electronic cards normally damage only one card excuse My English but l'm Venezuela Boy god bles You
hello , please we have LG VRF MULTI V 5 , WE SET MODE TO HEAT MODE , THE OUTDOOR UNIT WORK BUT WITH LOW RPM FOR COMPRESSOR , I CHECK REFRIGRANT AND FILL WITH 13 KG R410A , THE SUCTION LINE STILL 20 PSI , AND ACCUMETATOR FREEZING , THE EEV EXPANTION OURDOOR NOT OPEN CORRECTLY. HOW CAN I CONROL OUTDOOR EEV AND THANKS
Im old school in the trade since 1986 contacts caps, all this digital shit with over 8 thousand component's to work in engineering principles the more their is the more probability for break down, sometimes I struggle to understand how it's more environmentally phisable constantly replacing parts
Would you believe me if I told you that the wetness on that plastic is actually the oil from the plastic it happens when plastic gets so hot that it's close to melting point but doesn't melt I guess that's why the inverter boards keep failing because they get so damn hot
This oil is also a residue from heatsink compound or thermal pads. Happens on PC Graphics cards as well and is harmless. But could be heat related, because there was a missing screw which will mess with the cooling abilities of the heatsink.

Shhh don’t say that. They’ve managed to sell this as environmentally friendly, while making a killing selling replacement PCB’s…..😮😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉🎉
Please send error ch 10
You need a vessel screwdriver
