I wish I'd recorded mine because the moment he was falling I legit thought he was dead because of no water bucket or other way of clutching it, and I even considered the option of him landing on top of the other pillar he was falling towards but realised that would kill him as well, never did I consider the option of him crafting a boat MID AIR like he ended up doing, and it caught me completely off guard. I was in shock for several minutes after that tbh...

The boat clutch at the beginning had me in shock for the rest of the day.

AweSAMdude was one of the original members of the SMP (when it was Dream, George, Sapnap, Callahan, Sam, Ponk and Alyssa) but he left for several month to concentrate on his studies. It was Sam that built the SMP prison!
The ending was so contentious, I’m 100% sure that dream will be putting it on the list of things that are not allowed in future. Last thing, Dream has now released the uncut version, if you read the description he explains the crafting table and the small coordinates
The dragon revival was a bug, since you need the dragon egg to revive the dragon. But since the dragon wasn’t killed (no advancement) it must have been a server-side bug. But yeah, its probably not going to be allowe
You do not need the egg to revive the dragon actually you just put 4 Crystal's on the middle of each side of the dragons perch
@@Red_Vapor The respawning of the dragon requires the egg to be spawned. You can place the 4 crystals down, but if the egg isn't there/the dragon hasn't died yet, the crystals don't do anything. Like sure, the set up doesn't use the egg, but in order for it to work, the egg needs to be spawned.

25:43 He was crouching to hide his name tag. It was probably still pretty visible tho since they were right there, but they were too focused on the compass and didn’t pay much attention to his character since he looked like Antfrost by first glance.
21:56 This is something a little bit more complicated than people might think. The reason he is so chill in the Bastion is that in a dimension, there is a limit of how many mobs can be spawned. So with more people in the world (hunters), they also have a spawning radius which also takes up the mob capacity. Which is why there are less mobs in manhunt than you have in your survival's world.
Ps. The boat crafting mid-air seems like has been planned more than his mid-air instinct. Try watching that moment 0.25x and you will see he tried to place crafting table before he even fell but he couldnt aim the crosshair to the crafting table so he just use the one at the other tower instead.
Dream has uploaded his unedited video on dreamxd and that video was of 2 hrs and some minutes . His name was not flashed in the portal because he shifted.
I bet dream was practicing that over and over and finally did it on a manhunt video as well. Nice reaction.

4 months ago, I pressed q accidentally my diamond pickaxe with efficiency 5, unbreaking 3, mending and fortune 3, into the lava on my hardcore game. Havent been playing the game since, but I still watch videos of youtubers like Dream and GeorgeNotFound.

The ending was very likely a clitch or a bug. You can't revive a dragon if there already is one. Hbomb94 tested it pretty in depth on his stream. In my humble opinion there are two things that could have likely happened.
1. The last arrow that dream shot at the end connected and killed the dragon. Then in the same or the next tick the revival ritual was completed causing the death animation to bug along with the achievement.
2. The last arrow that dream shot at the end missed and the game bugged or clitch. There is a minecraft clitch that only happens in servers where the dragon disappears for a tick or two. If that was the case it is possible that the ritual was completed exactly when it happened and the taught that there were no dragon.
This could have been any bug but I think the former sounded logical. Either way the event was very rare and I've never seen anything like it before. And in the extra scenes they said that they didn't know that would have happened.

20:09 What Dream did there was very clever. He purposely hit back the ghast's fireballs at an angle away from the ghast, otherwise he would've gotten "Return to Sender" and the hunters would have realised that since Dream killed the ghast, he would be very close by.

That ending, respawn dragon, they talked about it in the after scene... they think it s a server glitch... cause the dragon need to be dead to be spawn back... they didnt though it would spawn another one... sam was like «well .. it would heal it... and if you d killed it i wanted to spawn another one and be like hey kill it again green boi » ... it worked better then he thought lol
Indeed it's a server bug. I have tried locally on 1.16.5, placing the 4 crystals for the ritual does nothing if the dragon is alive.
Goes to show what awesamdude brings to the table in the manhunts. I'm looking forward to the next ones because this was insane.
Even Hbomb tries it out both in single and realms, it’s for sure a server glitch. Only will it work if the egg spawns, which is after the dragon’s death animation.

I think The dragon did die. I think they placed the last crystal att the same frame or a couple frames after it died. That would not leave enough time for the game to react and play the animation. Wich is about at the same time as you get the achievement.
Dream not getting the achievement was due to a server lag. Sam finished placing the last crystal just before the moment dream killed the dragon. Placing the crystals before the dragon is killed heals it but after the dragon is killed summons it. So the effects of placing the last crystal is very much dependant on the dragon's death. Since those two events happened so close to each other the server lagged. When it came back from the lag it saw that the dragon was dead and the crystals were placed. So it guessed that the crystals were placed after the dragon died and thus instead producing the "free the end" achievement it skipped over to the "the end, again" acievement. That's why dream didn't get the achievemnt.
Dream crafted the boat faster than Eminem rapped "Rap God".

This is for those who dont know what happened at the eeend in minecraft at the end theres a secret achievement called the (end...again) the end...again achievement is kinda hard to get to get it you must kill the the ender dragon
and then portal where you leave the end is where you must put down 4 end crystals around it then something cool happens as we saw in the video Lazers will shoot and the ender dragon redrawns and that's how you get the achievement also the portal that let's you leave the end Closes so you have to beat the ender dragon again if you want to leave the end again ;^)
I've tried it my self on minecraft ya its hard to do also when the lazers shoot up into the sky in the end it's kinda looks cool and nice and yes I know I've said end like 50k times sorry I talk tipe and write s lot I'm going to cry now 😥
So , to further explain the ending
What happened is that dream killed the ender dragon , however in order for him to win he has to get the [ Free The End ] achievements that you get after killing the dragon . However, the hunters used the spawning mechanic at the same time as the dragon was dying thus glitching the game to not give the achievements , because you can't spawn a dragon without killing it first , so yeah its most propably a glitch but dream lost .
Also Sam a member of the dream smp and is a very good builder and is insane with redstone stuff and strategy
I'll be honest, I didn't catch that boat clutch the first time I watched it. But all the same, that was an epic clutch by Dream. Also, Awesamdude is a member in the Dream SMP. He's a really good builder and is pretty good with redstone builds as well

So in dream smp, dream is canonically in the prison, and SAM (the new hunter) is the prison guard,, there's couple joke that said, "alternate title : Sam casing, the running away prisoner"
The last time dream did an MLG that fast was the final dragon boop in 1v4 hunters. In that clip, he utilized at least 200 frames from opening his inventory to MLG watering.
Here, the time from opening his crafting table to MLG boating took 75 frames.

The reason the dragon respawn thing happened:-
When you do the respawn ritual while the dragon is still alive it won't do anything, but as soon as the dragon dies it will respawn. The reason this happened is because dream killed the dragon with an arrow and it immediately respawned. Because it respawned immediately the game couldn't detect that you killed the dragon and didn't give you the achievement. I know this cause my friends and I were in an SMP and the same thing happened. I'm not sure whether you will have the achievement on the achievement page but you should check

About the thing that dream has in f3 a different menu; he writed the follow text in the uneditet version of the new manhunt in the description:
"EXTRA INFO:
When we play manhunt we play on a custom server and a custom server jar and I play with a custom mod for recording QOL. This means that settings on our server / my view may be different from normal Minecraft. Mob amounts, distribution, render distance, coordinates display, and much more. For performance reasons and otherwise for your enjoyment (Coordinates usually takes up half the screen and that sucks for videos, so it's just small in the top left when I use them :))
The crafting in mid air that I did may not be doable in vanilla Minecraft, because the crafting bench GUI force closes too quickly to craft anything, however the distance for when a force close will happen will differ on some servers, and differ due to lag as well. Just for extra information! I plan on doing an analysis and talking about a lot of stuff this manhunt because it was just full of content."

The end was a glitch.
You can't respawn the dragon when she's alive so dream killed the dragon but the advancement didn't show up.
Fun Fact: It was Awesamdude's Idea to place the crystals the way you respawn the dragon so when dream kills it the dragon would respawn, even though dream would've already won. But due to some reason, maybe a glitch (according to dream), the dragon respawned before dream could kill it. Hence, losing this manhunt.
PS: If you didn't notice, George was the one to kill Dream XD.
You can switch the controls if you accidentally hit Q and drop something. Like for example I switched my sprint button to Q and drop button to ~ which is right next to Q. It helps a lot too
They didn't heal the dragon, they brought it back to life.

fun fact=when dream was doing the boat clutch he had already thought of in when he got knocked off that tower. he forgot to make a boat an when he saw the crafting table he knew he had a slim chane of making it

This might be my new favorite manhunt. Just so intense and I can't believe this was the second time in a manhunt that everyone was confused who won. Remember in one of the 4 hunters Dream was killed right before he killed the dragon so they had to make the rules more clear, and in this 5 hunters one, Dream claims the respawn ritual glitched because apparently it can only work once the first dragon has died. Dream didn't get the achievement though for killing the dragon, but the respawn ritual worked? It's hard to tell, but the final arrow he shot looks like it hit and killed the dragon. So I think the rules now will be that Dream must get the Free the End achievement before he's died. Also, just so you know, Dream posted the uncut version of the 5 hunters video so you can actually see how long these manhunts take to do :)
