Tbh I feel like she is the best person to be reacting to Dream because not only is she making videos of herself playing minecraft and other games, when she reacts to Dream, her reactions are freaking amazing 100% and doesn't use Dream just for the views but actually enjoying him and the whole Dream team playing minecraft

@@longnameincoming1219 Problem with that is that you can get games that technically never end, since Dream could for example have unloaded ignited TNT waiting to be loaded, or some other kill contraption. In other words, you’ll have a hard time making the rules unambiguous.
Just so you know, this was 1v4 (1 runner, 4 hunters). Even in 1v1, the hunters have a big advantage over the runners. It is wayyyyy easier to be the hunter than the runner. That's just the nature of the game.
So the fact that the Dream can hear the hunters actually makes it a little more even. And the hunters can also DM each other or use code for anything they don't want Dream to know. For instance, Bad said, "We're gonna do THE PLAN." He was telling the others they were going to gather the resources so they could heal the dragon. Dream didn't know for like twenty minutes what they were planning: not until they actually started healing the dragon did he realize what their plan was.
Glad you enjoyed the video though. Dream is one of the best players (if not THE best player) in Minecraft. While he technically lost (Dream even admitted it himself), it's obvious he'll beat the four of them someday. Good luck practicing the MLG waters!
As much as you praised Dream, the hunters also need it because of the healing strategy. The Ender Dragon can heal if there are End crystals nearby which they made. That's what lead to Dreams loss
All of the players in this video were incredibly impressive to watch. I aim to be as good as them one day :)
I think his death was most likely due to just running into the breathe, pretty much being in the line of fire. The End Crystals only made the End last longer. Dream still had a good amount of health while most of the hunters lost their armor and weapons (could have killed Sapnap too). Idk how much food Dream had left as well.
@@mastercreepy5893 Dream said he would have won it if he didn't rush the ending. He knew the dragon was about to leave the perch and wanted to kill it instead of waiting for the next perch. Had he waited, he would have won.
As far as what doomed him, the way the breath was performing knockback on him made it impossible for him to escape. It just happened to hit him the wrong way, trapping him.

Others already pointed out all the important stuff, im just here to clarify:
They're called MLGs: Water bucket, boat, ladder, vine, horses (or any rideable animal), feather fall pot, these negate fall damage, beds and haybales just reduce it (by a lot tho) Water bucket, beds, and haybales are the easiest to do.
In nether, water instantly evaporates, so you either use beds or haybales, but beds explode in the nether if you try to sleep, so you can't spam click. You can MLG with ender pearls as well, but Minecraft has somewhat realistic physics, when you're falling, you're speeding up, however, thrown items, bow shots, tridents don't. So while falling, the enderpearl will become slower than you, so unless you throw the pearl in time, you'll die.
In newer versions, if you take damage, your saturation goes down.
Hitting a shield with an axe makes it unable to use for a few seconds, but not any other weapon.
Axes are really good, diamond axe with crit can 2 shot full iron I think, but I might be wrong about that
I don't precisely know the crafting, but you can make end crystals with ghast tears
The player isn't exactly 2 blocks tall, just a bit less. When you jump in a 2 block tall space, you bump your head, which makes you faster while running. So spam jumping under trees for example makes you a lot faster.
As for your *Dream* of being this good, I think it's totally possible! Some think that you need "talent". Yes, talent helps, but you don't *need* talent to be good. Dream has insane reflexes, quick thinking, and many other traits. But I believe practice makes perfect. Anyone can be a pro if they have the patience to gain the experience they need. I found dreams channel in May (I think), and i got interested in getting better at the game. I practiced, and now I can do things like, craft fast, spontaneusly use F5(toggle prespective), water bucket MLGs, and others. Im not a pro, clearly, but with dedication, anyone can get better

Stone axe and above all do 9 damage. A wooden one does 7. You could use a stone sword and hit whet jumping to do 11 damage, and you can do the same with a diamond, gold, or iron axe

I think Dream being able to hear the Hunters is fine, especially when you consider that the Hunters have the ability to track Dream's location at any given moment.
Also, it probably wouldn't be as entertaining if we didn't hear them taunt and tease each other.
This is very true! I also didn't know that they were able to track him with a compass when I initially watched this.
@@SuperMcGregs Also it's not like noobs vs pro. George, Sapnap and BadBoyHalo are all considered pros. I think Sapnap is considered at least top20 Minecraft player in the world. It's just that Dream is considered the best by many and at least top5 by most :P
@@Laszer271 i wouldn't say sapnap is top 20 in *the world*. in MC Championships, he's almost consistentntly in top 10 though, so he's definately a good player
@@oooof2996 There might be much better players than Dream but we will never know if they do not take part in the tournaments. So I think it's fair to consider players that are scoring high in tournaments the best even if there is a lot of players that are better but are nonames. It's the same with sport - we don't pick the best player from all the humans in the world, we pick best from the ones that made it to the important tournaments.
@Dhruv There may be people that are very good at Minecraft but aren't content creators and then there will be a lot of tournaments that will not accept them. There may also be very good players that aren't aspiring to take part in tournaments and then they aren't recognized at all. They may be recognized locally like on some highpixel scoreboard but you will never know about them just by watching youtube and following MC tournaments.
Dream is actually much better than a pro. A professional pro, if you may. If you look at the older Manhunts, he has lots of smart plays that required quick thinking. He also won multiple 3v1s even when he had worse or equal armor as them.
Also he made the nether portal using a speedrunner tactic. He's a speedrunner of the game, hence the title. It's easy to learn, but hard to pull off quickly.
He's amazing! I can't believe the things he comes up with. I can't wait to react to the rest of his manhunt videos!
Dream is the same skill level as like top 70 runners with that technique. Trust me if you spend a hour trying it it's pretty easy to do in like 10 seconds.

The way he timed the frost walker earlier at the start to plan to jump on water on tower is so big brain
So, I'll explain a few things
1. Dream isn't allowed to die, not once, if he dies to anything, he loses.
2. The 4 people hunting dream have a compass that points to dream so they can never truly lose him.
Point 3 is he has to beat the ender dragon before he dies once. His actions initiated before his death killed the dragon, earning not only the achievement but this clutch victory.
Compass? Isn't that only pointed to where you first spawn?

I'm not even kidding, my first reaction on dream's video was "this is completely inhuman no one can be this smart and quick".
I started watching after the ~6th manhunt, so it was satisfying seeing Dream's progression. From struggling with gathering enough food to ... being this obsessed with winning.
So, according to their rules, the death messages technically indicate a win or loss and their order (Dream dies, then Dream kills the dragon) means that Dream, by technicality, lost, even though it was also technically considered a tie. This decision was also made in part to one of the previous speedrunner vs 3 hunters video. I won’t spoil it, but I will say it was close, similarly to this one where the ruling was a bit different. You’d really just have to watch them all to know what I mean.
I assume you got that technically from the video where dream said "both teams have won once" but if they have rules I'd be very interested in seeing them.

Others in the comments must have recommended you but you really should've watched the other manhunts. This one is the latest so both Dream and the Hunters have improved a lot since the start (there was a time when Dream lost against *one* lone hunter, which is highly improbable at this point). The only thing that hasn't changed is that Dream never runs out of creative ways to trick and kill the Hunters.
If you wanna learn Dream’s moves just go on reddit. That’s where he says he learns majority of his tricks.

Biggest brain play at 18:43 here.
He purposefully put a lip around his tower so that when he jumps down, he can climb back onto it. Frostwalker Boots only create ice if you step on water on the same level, not jumping into it. This allowed him to make an ice layer that took out two hunters through fall damage because they assumed they were safe.
The extreme loot luck from the broken portal earlier on was amazing
this was a great reaction, i love your energy and how i can tell you're enjoying watching them just as much as i am! i definitely think you should react to dream's previous manhunt videos, at least starting with the first 3 hunters video (the ones before are great too, but the 3v1s are where it starts getting really intense). there's a playlist of them on his main channel if you're not sure about the order. he also has analysis videos of the manhunts and what he was thinking on his alt, DreamXD! btw if you do decide to react to his 3v1 manhunts (which i would be ecstatic about), some things to keep in mind: dream is a speedrunner, which is how he makes portals and crafts so quickly. he's also amazing with movement and parkour, so he makes risky jumps and is confident in his mlg plays. george is colorblind, which is why he might not notice some things sometimes. badboyhalo never curses, so he says "muffin" a lot instead. also most of the 3v1s were before the 1.16 update!

So...just to explain this.
You can use a boat to break your fall in two different ways.
1: You jump off and right before you hit the ground you place the boat and sit in it. Pretty hard tho. This trick is known as the boat clutch.
2: You get in the boat and while riding off a cliff, you jump in and out of the boat every few seconds. Pretty simple. This trick is usually known as the boat trick bruh.

I just think that it's the Hunter's job to keep themselves quiet and talk in private chafs, just how much it's Dream's job to keep his plans and his health quiet. He just does a much better job at it haha

My friend compared Minecraft speedrunners movements to that of spiders. Too smooth for what they accomplish yet jerky at the same time, making for something that’s just unnerving to watch.

Tbh what I love about Dream's manhunt videos is how he has makes new plans and strategies for each episode. It hinders them from becoming too repetitive and it really shows how much he cares about his videos, instead of just milking them.

1. when dream was building he could have just used cobblestone to build up and used gravel to suffocate the people that were building up
2. He could have used the boat and sapnap would go in the boat for dream's advantage to get sapnap lower
3. Dream could have got Redstone and stuff to make a compass to sneak up on the gang and eliminate them all

Basically, Dream and George often mod/recode the game just for fun. They coded in compasses that, instead of pointing to spawnpoint, always point to Dream instead.
Came here to find dream stans because I seen this in an ad, I was not disappointed.

Dream actually won that one. Because the inevitable TNT blast that WILL kill the dragon was superior enough than Dream's death. Since the hunters had no water buckets from dying beforeahand, saving the dragon would be futile. So in activating that TNT, the dragon had inevitably died first.
Oh by the way in The nether I said something to dream its a tips. You know that the Nether update right but do you see one of the blue bioms or red cuz they have this life thing that grow up you can use those by spamming on the ground and then you take no damage

You can also use a water bucket to prevent fall damage (something that happens in a lot of open world games is that no matter from how high you fall if you land in water you won’t take any damage) you can also place a Hay bale when you fall however it doesn’t reduce all fall damage it just reduces it significantly (I’m also subbing because you gave your genuine reaction unlike a bunch of reaction channels/ videos

I myself have attempted the same kind of thing, and it is extremely difficult as the speedrunner, as well as very easy as the hunters. Dream probably has had to reset worlds so many times cause he died quickly. So its probably hard enough.
