Amazing work KLF is doing. I'm not sure why people are targeting them in comments. They are discussing a book, and this book is totally relevant. IK/PTI phenomena is a classic class of populism, or some can say Frankenstein for establishment, or how the society is evolving. We should have more and more sessions like this to debate and take different views.
What is this topic to be discussed at KLF ? is it some political gathering

I still remember an interview of Mr tarek fateh in 2018 taken by some Indian journalist on TV. This was the time when elections were going to take place in Pakistan and even in India many people were excited about imran khan as pak PM. when tarek fateh was asked how do he see Imran as PM. He very candidly said. Joh bande ne jindagi mein Kabhi koi kam nahi kiya( cricket khelne ke sivay), joh banda kabhi Apni roji roti kamane ke liye briefcase uthake office nahi gaya, woh kya khak mulk chalayenga. I think that was prophetic.
Tarek fateh ne sari zindagi Kia kaam kia hai siwai bigotry aur Islamophobia phailaanay kay 😂 imran Oxford se parha cricket kheli , 3 hospitals banaaye , 1 international university banai , aur 2 party system tora. I think that’s enough work for one lifetime
Well tarek fateh has written 2/3 good books for a start. I don't think he was islamobhobic. He simply said that for a Muslim after life is more important than this life which I have heard from many other Pakistani dnyaneshwars also. As far as imrans hospital and university are concerned, it is all from khairaat ka money. Winning a cricket word cup do not qualify you to lead the country. As far as breaking 2 party monopoly goes, well Pakistan always had one supreme party who use to simply shuffle two parties for governance. In case of imran, even he was put in the post by those supreme commander party and then also kicked out and his 31/2 years performance do not show anything special. The only credit to him is making an ordinary Pakistani make realize that how they have been Sheperded by their azeem commanders for last 76 yrs.
Imran khan setup the first cancer hospital in Pakistan. He setup the first non-profit higher education institute (namal university) in Pakistan. These people commenting are PPP loyalists. The most corrupt, demonic, feudalistic political party in Pakistan

someone should force Imran to watch this video before his release to know what these intellectuals are thinking about him, may be he have answers for most of the things but if he improve only one thing or remove one terrible habit, it will be good for him and for country.
If these intellectuals were really that knowledgeable they would have fought the Pakistani election, formed a governement and solved all of Pakistan's problems. Anything else is totalitarianism.

Let alone politics, if this kinda of literature is produced in our country, which projects hatred or disliking for a particular political figure, no reason it's gonna wind and exacerbate polarisation. This sorta of literature can only be circumspect of wider conspiracy. Moreover in liberal politics, the general masses are at par with their intellectual counterparts.

Nobody is cursing anyone. It's just a panel discussion on a book that is primarily based on Imran khan's voters which primarily consists of middle class segment. A discussion is always supposed to be a critical one rather than to please people. Just because it doesnt reflect what we think doesn't mean we are allowed to dehumanize anyone.
