I love Advent Sorrow! As All Light Leaves Her is an amazing (very dark) album, and Kali Yuga Crown is top tier as well. In my opinion of course.

You jump into pretty deep water. It's Depressive/Suicidal Black Metal, so it could be a rather extreme sub genre.
But a great pick! For a first time, the high production and easy to get into instruments work well.
