- Welcome back future Khans, Emperors, Jarls and Sultans of Calradia!
Who doesn't love a good revolt? The LITTLE guy standing up the oppressive tyranny? Whether you're a fan of revolutions, David Vs. Goliath or just a little vengeance against the Powers than Be, we have a treat for you in this episode...
As requested from a subscriber, we venture into battle with a watered-down force of most middle tier troops and scrubs, disobey our lords and take on our foes in this new mini-series designed to put us into the ranks of a peasant revolt against their lords. In this series, we'll try to thwart the mighty powers of the lords, band together with other low and middle-tier troops and try and beat back the hordes using more brains than brawn. If you want to see more of this series, subscribe or check back once in a while to the playlist.
This series, a side-branch of my late-game campaign, demonstrates how an army of mediocre and weak troops can take on, clash against and even WIN battles against the most powerful armies in Bannerlord, using tactics. This series is designed to inspire players to further their field command to the point where they will fluidly move troops depending on situations, and win battles like a Legend.
Join me on this adventure if you like huge battles, the use of advanced tactical maneuvers and intense Bannerlord gameplay, and subscribe to my channel if you want to follow along. This campaign is very lightly modded:
I use five to seven mods:
Time Pass Mod: Realistic Lighting for battles and town scenes(the time CHANGES):
www.nexusmods.com/mountandbla...
RTS Mod(for better unit flag colors/overhead view and using other characters in battle):
www.nexusmods.com/mountandbla...
Immersive Battlefields:
A great mod that adds battle cries, roaring troops and more:
www.nexusmods.com/mountandbla...
Lord Retinue Uptier(Makes the enemy forces stronger, much less peasants and lower ranked troops)
www.nexusmods.com/mountandbla...
Improved AI Troops(Also makes enemy lords and their armies tougher by giving them a higher daily xp rate. This means you'll routinely face armies with HUGE numbers of the highest tier units, sometimes four or five times the normal amount in vanilla Bannerlord): www.nexusmods.com/mountandbla...
Death for all: This mod allows you to set the rate at which nobles die more often. I want both a harder challenging late-game but also a more realistic game. If you're cut down with a massive aserai two-handed axe, you shouldn't just be injured 99.9% of the time. It's a very customizable mod so you can just a little more death or set the death rate so high you get several deaths every battle. The number I often like is '10', some deaths but not a massacre of nobles...

I also use the Dismemberment Plus Mod: It's highly customizable and works seamlessly with the new beta(and versions back to 1.28). I thoroughly recommend it if you enjoy carnage!:
steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
I've also used Realistic Battle Mod in the past and highly recommend it for Ai and battle realism BUT I find the pace too slow for my taste and the AI is actually rather predictable after a half dozen battles. Still I wanted to put a plug in for it here, it's a GREAT mod and highly configurable. www.nexusmods.com/mountandbla...
Much of the music and inspiration for this and other videos in the channel are inspired by Epic History TV - probably THE best channel on youtube(and the internet for that matter) covering the Napoleonic wars. With amazing work Epic History TV takes you through the dramatic and incredibly story of Napoleon covering all of his most famous battles. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Alrighty mates, bros, comrades and fellow berserkers, it was great fun making this episode and I'm considering doing a further side series. I'll probably have to 'bend' the rules a little bit to make this work, so it shouldn't be seen as a pure gameplay on the hardest difficulty, after all, we have very high level characters, 13 million gold and other vassals, but I am probably going to make use of the console tab to give us some more scrubby units as we discard elite units(especially when my family members upgrade their troops), but if you want to see this video develop into a mini series, let me know.
If you want more/less roleplaying, more or less scenes behind the battles, etc. just let me know. I'm still getting used to editing with Bannerlord and my simple video editing tool, but this was a lot of fun to make and if enough people enjoyed this amalgamation of my campaign, tactics and revolution, let me know...
I like these story type episodes, especially with weaker troops against greater odds. Really shows that knowing tactics is important lol all I do is F1+F3
If you're still doing F1 plus f3, you need to see our intermediate tactics series, a playlist of 10 videos that will help you develop from a new battlefield Commander to a total beast out their commanding your legions with skill...
Going straight to my watch later list! Will watch tommorrow brother 🫡
I'm constantly making stories in my head to go along my campaigns. I love this so much!
Bannerlord lends itselve wonderfully to stories and role playing, such a deep, immersive setting...
awesome. mini series please! plebian wrath! my favourite thing is this little skinny peasant in rags with a blacksmith hammer yelling MAKE A SHIELD WALL like russel crowe. shits bad ass
Hahaha, that's my favorite part of the whole series is the little man getting the upper hand on the armored nights and trucking him to the ground with pickaxes and throwing stones at imperial sergeant crossbowman LOL
Banger video man, I appreciate all the work that went into making it
Was fun and I love a good underdog story... Working on a continuation today but it takes days to work out...
Ngl, This one is build diff hope you will continue this epic and glorious story man pretty sure many people will love this soon as they watch this vedio
Thank you for the support, I'm hard at work 'playing' this campaign right now and have a handful of new episodes lined up. Stay tuned and I hope more watch and enjoy the series like you!
You and Boklahoma have reminded me recently that behind all the game mechanics and numbers that this is still a RPG. Recently I have forgotten that.
I think Bannerlord lends itself well to RPG'ing, even if the game is flawed, the whole family dynamics, the history of battles, enemies that you learn to hate, etc.
Yes I think apart from maybe Kenshi , that it is the ultimate sandbox.
10 seconds in and i already love it
They must have better armors but not too much, just a little bite great Video !
Thanks mate!
Good stuff. Love the RP!
Great one, would love to see more of these
Thanks for the feedback friend!
I need a whole series of this…please. I need to see this fella take the entire empire
Noted! I've began working on the next episode, so stay tuned, and thanks for the feedback!
Interesting format! Good storytelling
Thanks bud, something I'm playing around with :)
Please do a series on this peasant revolt I love it
Thank you for the feedback, it's looking more and more likely with all the positive responses.
Good content
Thank you :) (more coming!)
wooo my new fave channel
I greatly appreciate that brother - I'm deep in numerous different series here and really enjoying the process of making these vids, so I'm stoked you fellas are enjoying them so much. Stay tuned!
loved this
Probably make more, thanks for the feedback bud.
You should look into some Frisian history man! I am from that northern province of The Netherlands 😁 It was way bigger in the medival era, so if you’re interested in farmer vs roman empire kinda history. Frisia is the place the be 🫡😅
I'll check it out for sure!
If only the pikes were actually worth using in vanilla, that would make the anti cav play so satisfying
Yeah, and mods help but I recognize many players either don't have mods or they won't work...
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions sadly console players (aka me) are entirely fucked lol
@@OrangeGoggles1 thumbs down, sadface
Great videos! Have you ever tried rbm+drm tactics? Units are genrally less armored there and most of them are like levies and don't go past tier 3-4
I know RBM but I don't know what DRM is. One of the keys to this miniseries will be that while I will use tier 4 and below units, I want the enemy to have two or five and six so that they're much stronger armies than ours. I still want to know about this mod though.
Collab?? 👀 I’ve been wanting to get into THIS level of storytelling content, but somehow i feel like im just lacking
Would love some pointers, my lord!
The story we're telling here is a bit of a cliche but any good story comes from an amalgamation of the different stories that we've read in our lives. Obviously I'm just shooting from the hip. If you want to add suggestions to the miniseries I'm all ears? Not sure how else to collaborate
do a campaign
Thank you for the feedback, I'm leaning towards having a miniseries around this peasants revolt
@@HeadlessHorsemanProductions and great video by the way
The introducting scene was pretty cool but the slow mo was kinda too much(long). Maybe there is some better way to use it? Use it in one of those intros that other ytbers do? U know like for example Glock-9 for 7dtd in the start of the video...
Felt the initial episode needed a bit more explaining, certainly in this day and age, fellas want instant action, but I wanted at least a little backstory before we go stomping around with our peasants. :)
I'll take your feedback into account though for future episodes(if there are any!).
