Dude totally respects his role in the band and respects what Oli contributed. It'd be so easy to just wing it and make up new parts to the solos and improvise on Oli's work...but he's not doing that. He's keeping the integrity of the original compositions intact, and I have mad respect for that.

In fact, aside from very few passages the live input is almost completely drowned out. I'm not saying they can't play this live, they 100% can, but this is just how it's done these days, far safer (from a technical point of view) and more consistent from show to show. They're just not gonna risk completely botched performances when you can easily avoid it and, demonstrably here, none the wiser.

I have so much respect for both of them though regardless, wish I could play guitar like either of them I can hardly strum a guitar lol.
I don't really care for this genre of music at all, but I completely respect the technical skills, physical endurance, and raw God given talent it takes to pull it off and especially be able to perform it live.

All That Remains are definitely a talented group of guys!

The way he has his strap means he won't ruin his wrists or seriously injure himself. It's a proper technique for playing, especially fast music. That's why a lot of fast players lose their speed as they get older, poor technique and years of wear. Jason will play forever.
