Another sublime piece. The amboyna burl was so gnarly at the beginning and yet its inner beauty shines through. When a skilled artist knows their materials, anything is possible.
It’s already clear your craftsmanship with wood is excellent, but it takes good videos to really show it here. Your videos are very well-thought-out, and they’re soothing to watch and listen to. Well done, mate. Thank you.
Pokoknya gw akuin kalo anda ini master segment Woodturning Indonesia. Eh sorry dunia deh 👍👍👍👍 pokoknya berkarya terus bos tunjukkan kalo seniman kayu Indonesia bukan kaleng-kaleng 👌
An artwork of absolute harmony and beauty! Only by watching the work in progress one can appreciate the ingenuity of design, the lot of preparation and finally the emerging of beauty in the turning itself and the final polish. You are a true artist and I bow in respect!
This has become a beautiful vase, Mayuko, breathtaking! What fascinates me most is the choice of wood types and the their combination. To me, that's proof of a skilled artist.
Very nice project. looks fantastic! Of course safety is each persons individual responsibility, but suggest you lower your saw blade down. you don't need that much sticking up above the top of your wood. Raise it just enough to clear the gullets of the blade :)
Thanks for retuning your answer. Just getting started in segmented bowls so it’s always interesting what you come up with. Do you primary use carbides.
I'm just getting into turning, and just found your channel. You've got some beautiful pieces. I have one question for you, why do you turn part of the jar first, then glue on more pieces and then turn some more. As opposed to gluing the whole jar up at once and then turning. Keep up the videos.
Thank you for watching my video, the reason is that if you turn it as a whole it will feel more difficult because of the deep depth of the vase but when compared to turning it little by little it will feel easier when we turn it
I am having difficulty finding a superlative adjective to adequately describethis beautiful work of art!!! I am curious to know if the pieces in the middle section of the jar are end of grain cuts or are they from a burl? Regardless, you sir, are definitely a master craftsman!!!

Thank you very much, but my table saw is broken, the saw blade can't be lowered, but I thank you for the advice 🙏🙏
So gorgeous & an efficient use of materials. Far better than hallowing out a solid block of wood...so painful to watch lol.
Thank you, yes the segmented method is a method with efficient use of materials, it doesn't really require a large log 🙏🙏
It's fantastic!! Thank you

Very nice work. With a vessel as large as this, you should consider making or buying a steady rest.
Thank you, yes you are right I have to think about having a stronger steady rest 👍

more than 4 hours letting the glue to dry and then get to work

Meine Tischkreissäge ist kaputt, das Sägeblatt lässt sich nicht mehr absenken, danke für den Rat 🙏
What is the black wood you used for the border and top center?
It is rosewood
SWEET

Are you waiting for the glue to dry before starting to turn it. It also looks like your using white glue, why/
yes I use white glue, as long as the tail stock can stick to the wood, I don't wait for the glue to dry and it can be done
"It's wonderful, It's marvelous !" ua-cam.com/video/noGMKs-JQtk/v-deo.html Yes, Yes, it is a marvelous thing that you do ! 😁
No writhing knife, saw blade too high, makes it difficult for me to watch. But the segment work and turning is awesome.
👍 👍 👍
🙏🙏
👍👍👍
your table saw blade is WAY too high
Yes that's right, my table saw is broken, the saw blade can't be lowered
😅
