I absolutely love this figure and he almost doesn’t even need the glasses as he looks amazing without them with such a great head sculpt. I also only had two minor gripes and the two being the blade with no chain and the glasses that don’t fit, I wouldn’t have minded these exact glasses being molded to the head sculpt as they look pretty cool so what I did was I took Dusty’s goggles and placed them on Buzzer which look great. Also I have the Gridiron Black, Gold, Red, and Silver Tactical shades which work as well plus I am waiting for the Buzzer load-out to arrive as of you order the load-out now they come with some shades so I will see how those work too.
Good video. I personally wish all mainline boxed Classified figures were heavily redesigned and pushed forward, in the vein of how the line evolved into paramilitary / “near future” tech like the Pursuit of Cobra line did. Then, down the road, do a slavish (more or less) recreation of the OG design on the vintage/retro card back, complete with all original accessories. That way, we get new never before done versions of our characters as well as 100% faithful ARAH designs for the carded line, win win for everyone imo. This Buzzer is a good example of what Classified has been doing a lot lately which is giving you a 80-90% recreation of the original figure and just changing little things on the design/deco/accessories…and it drives me crazy because it just feels they want to do something new but then backtrack it; when in reality we can have both new and old with the 2 different lines of figures (boxed & carded). Ironically, Tripwire (I received both at the same time) is like my minds eye version of what I described above, except they combined it into 1 release. You get a very faithful (more or less) OG Tripwire figure but also get tons of gear options to really push the design forward into a more modern/advanced version. Between the accessory options, you could have 2 figures that look wildly different, it’s awesome. 🤘🏻
I probably shouldn't say this publicly, but if Hasbro would just make every figure like Tripwire I'd be fine with that. Include accessories to create whichever look you want and charge a deluxe price. Because guess what? That's cheaper than buying two figures.
I like the look of the figure a lot. I wish the glasses “plugged in” behind the ears, like the Baroness and CI Roadblock. The missing back pack is a bummer. I will probably 3D print one. The chainsaw is more than good enough for me. I really like the slimmer body type.
The glasses/goggles were fail for me, especially when I know it could have/should have been better. I just got in the Crimson Strike Team and the Baroness glasses are made of a hard plastic, which is perfect. I think this accessory would have worked better if it was molded from hard plastic and not Fishing-Lure plastic. I do agree that he should have come with a chainsaw gun, but I am ok with an actual chainsaw. The spirit of the character is there. IN regards to Gridiron Props, they have added a special that ends tonight, where they give you silver shades if you order his loadout.
The sunglasses look like old-school welder's goggles, I think that's what they're going for and it makes sense, I rather like it. No jerry can though is a huge loss.
Really disappointing about the sunglasses. Welder’s goggles would have worked better. Even Firefly’s goggles. The figure did turn out better than I expected compared to the digital renders.
Him bieng slightly skinny makes that chainsaw stand out even more.not every figure should have muscles 💪 he looks like some backwoods tweaker....exactly how I picture the dreadnocks
What is he going to do with a chainsaw in the battlefield? Hasbro should also have some kind of common sense about military figures. Also, a backpack with a storage for his other bladed weapons would have made a bit of sense.
Storage is the big issue here. The chainsaw isn't for the battlefield, it's for disruption and destruction. The Dreadnoks aren't soldiers, they're agents of chaos. Hasbro understood that this isn't a military figure.

Good call on the Dusty goggles. I might do that.
Thanks man...Dusty goggles worked on him like charm
Buzzer actually wore those kind of glasses in the Marvel run of the comic.
OMG, I loved that game Time Killers!
Great review, I’m thinking of putting some silver paint on the lens, but I’ll wait till it’s in hand to decide.

Port next to pistol grip is where you can add a smoke effect looks pretty cool with that in.
Oh, nice! I don't use a lot of the effects, but that would be cool.
Thanks for the tip on getting the goggles to stay on! Spread the word!😎👍
🤘🤘
I do miss the Jerry can backpack

I didn't give the chainsaw enough credit. It's an awesome accessory - just not what I want for Buzzer.
Zartan and the Dreadnoks are definitely not part of Cobra. They're more akin to mercenaries, soldiers-for-hire.
100%

Yeah, these should have been made of the same material as Slaughter's sunglasses.

The sunglasses have definitely grown on me. I still want a chainsaw gun and a backpack.

Im sure you will get backpack on a retro card release.
That seems reasonable, but how much more retro could the figure itself be?

Definitely. We need a wider range of physiques in Classified. This is a good start.
