I backed out of this one. Usually exclusives sell out quickly...not in this case. I think people are telling Hasbro they are tired of repaints currently. Definitely looking forward to Chickles.
while i agree about being tired of repaints (gi joe had reused parts but new characters. repaints don't work as well as they did with transformers. at least not as close together as they are to the mainline releases). last year (and part of this) everyone was complaining about them doing con exclusive original characters. so it seems like a loose loose for hasbro. and if i need to miss something i'd rather it be a repaint.
I bought a Destro briefcase off eBay for $5 and painted it silver and gave it some detail (it’s not exactly like there’s but looks great) would of been nice if that was actually included as an accessory with this set
I had to get this set after I got the Chuckles. I really like it. Hasbro pulse has it on sale for around $45 right now too. Definitely need the gold bars and briefcase though. Not stoked about that.
I'm passing on this. I guess they'll color code with the rest of the crimson figures. The regular Tomax and Xamot are pretty cheap on Amazon, $14 or $15 each. The Crimson Bat is a little cheaper than the regular one. The boxes are nice though, you could use them to store the figure and accessories in case you don't have enough space to display them. I got my Tele Viper and Trouble Bubble from Hasbro a couple days ago. It's nice except no place to put the bomb, it's supposed to attach to the blaster. The Tele Viper had tight but movable arms and one double knee joint is tight but moves one of the joints. Since he is sitting down it's not much of as issue. The Trouble Bubble has the same issue as yours: the canopy doesn't close all the way. The canopy isn't aligned quite right or the tab on one side doesn't fit into the slot.
yeah it seems like we're getting cheaper plastics and less quality control. which is insane when a standard figure only costs hasbro about 5 bucks total.
I’m so glad they didn’t go overboard and cover these figures with gold trim …the new double jointed arms on baroness are great……her heads and arms are the only thing new in this set all the accessories are the figures are just repaints …..not complaining at all just pointing it out seems like a lot of people didn’t realize her arms are new and double jointed
i could have lived with another tomax and xamot. but i'm glad the baroness got some better elbows finally!

Overall thought it’s a lot of repaints. I still enjoyed the set
