The idea of being permanently confined to a different world through eating something also appears in faerie lore from Ireland, and I think it appears in some Native American lore, too. The Adam and Eve story obviously has it, too. Interesting how the same idea keeps showing up in such different places.

I can tell that I have experienced something like this. I was in search of a cure to my depression. I practiced meditation and mindfulness in order to get hold of my EGO, cause it had decided life was not worth living and was constantly trying to make me feel worse. It would bring thoughts of worthlessness to my mind, it would show me ideas of killing myself. Doctors decided I was heavily depressed and ordered me to psycho therapy and SSRI medication. I didnt like idea of SSRI medication(didnt wanna lose all rest of feeling I had) and didnt go to psycho therapy cause it would had bankrupted me financially and would have added another reason for depression(lack of money).
So I got my hands on "Psilocybe cubensis" magic mushroom. It showed me that my awarness resides in my body, at peak of trip I felt my awarness leaving my body. I used meditation technique to relax my every muscle. I left my body and was transported to a "higher dimension". Everything was complex moving geometrical perfect pattern.
I appeared middle of upward standing really wide tube. Walls of tube was lines after lines of pictures like a story drawn by single line. They had red, green and yellow colors, circling around the line like it was 3d. But cylinder theme was Red at a bottom, then I started floating, I had no time to watch every symbol on the wall. Cylinder turned from red to orange, there I saw perfect image of a woman drawn by single line, a impossible task, then I float higher cylinder turns to yellow. Speed of ascending makes reading wall really hard.
Cylinder changes to green, then teal, then blue and I look up. I see pure white light top of the cylinder. I feel oneness with everything, I feel that I know every answer to every question I ever had. I got my answers I asked, but could not bring them down to my body because it felt, that my body was not in right "channel" for it to understand. I felt like my understanding was upgraded and I knew that I would lose my understanding after trip ends.
WARNING next part might go a little religious I dunno, this is just how I felt. Someone might feel different.
I lost my fear of death, because I was shown that we are here in earth with a purpose. Our purpose is to live our life as human. Experience human emotions, our hardships and joys. When we die, we see the white light again. To be part of everything, but you must leavy your body behind. I asked about god and go answer that All is god, peoples gods are just aspects of god.(make out of that what you will)
This was 4 years ago, I've been trying to decipher what I've seen and got some progress of that. After the experience my depression was gone. Feeling of depression didnt come back.
My ""EGO" "died". I dont get any random ideas or memories. My mind is silent, it doesnt speak to me anymore, instead I get intuitive feelings that mostly show the right path.
It feels like I'm mindful all the time. World feels different, everything has become beatiful.
I started painting after this trying to paint what I saw, I have picture perfect memory and I remember what I saw. Its furiating not being able to draw it, to share the beauty I saw.

They are not acknowledged publicly because they are still practiced amongst the " initiated " in secret. The mysteries were originally taught by the Watchers or fallen angels. As someone who grew up Catholic, your videos have expanded my mind so much Robert.
I always feared the beliefs of other (and ancient) cultures, mostly because I was told to.
Now I know the rich knowledge that exists in the esoteric/occult side of things.
One thing I’ve learned is that the whole “everything weird is the Devil” teaching i absorbed so much of as a kid is ignorant. Once you learn about Hermeticism and the practices of the ancient Greeks, you realize that nothing could be further from the truth “.

My experience as a Catholic was different. Maybe it has to do with the family and experiences.
I was raised by my grandparents, and from age three, I went to mass every morning with her. She didn't hold to Vatican 2 depredations, so we still fasted before mass, at least the Sunday main mass, and all holy day masses. From age five, entering first grade, I still did daily mass with her before school, then walked next door to the Catholic school. As my grandfather had injuries that left him disabled, the priest came into our home to give him communion and also the parish priests were a fixture in our home for card game socials (poker, sheepshead, etc) and the low stakes gambling (bets usually in the five to ten cent denominations, maybe 25 cent maximum bets). I went to high school at an all male Jesuit university prep academy, which I worked multiple jobs at any time to pay for myself, and through them I also had classes for religious education in subjects like existentialism and the occult. When I made some Jewish friends toward the end of high school, though none were in our school, there was never an ounce of concern in our family.
In the Navy, being in basic training within 18 hours of graduation, I attended Jewish services and study groups as a matter of course to learn more directly. When I was transferred to the army, I participated in some experiments, as it turned out, and as part of that I underwent a mystery school initiation. While these were things I never discussed with my family, they have in most things a heavy normie bias and my own life and pursuits in the military were increasingly both exotic and kinetic and I couldn't discuss those either, I never felt any fear of the unknown religions nor was much ever "about the devil". I did more than dabble in the occult as a result of those experiments. While I left that behind afterwards and after my role in those experiments and project were done, it was for very practical reasons. I won't bore you with details here, but suffice it to say that in those experiments, everything was real, and there were real world effects to what we were doing, and there was a no bullshit focus. The vast, as in overwhelming, majority of people who claim to be pagans, wiccans, occult etc outside of that environment have been, to my own experience, nothing more than poseurs, charlatans, nut jobs and deluded types who often pick such a claimed path as a way of rejecting the religion they were raised in, or as a rebellion against their parents. The ones who most overtly display the symbols of such are more likely to be such as well.
It is hard to go from what is real to nothing but nuts and poseurs so I dipped out. Ironically, over the years, I have met, indirectly, some who, like me, had been part of genuine practices, and they too had all had a background in special operations, though they'd not had a background in being part of military experiments doing such as I had been, and for the most intense of them, as with Channon & Stubblebine, who were in my chain of command during my participation, their own interests started after Vietnam.
Notably, in the years after I got out of the military, I ended up approached by and recruited into Masonry, and it seems through that, some ideas I had been working on got communicated through them to DARPA and I was recruited into a different project, all unrelated to those military experiences, but also strange congruences and coincidences I do not think, in retrospect, were coincidental. It doesn't matter. I took an early medical retirement owing to poor health (the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long, and to steal further from Blade Runner, I did burn brightly indeed) and have had a sedate and safe retirement abroad for many years now. Beyond delusions the occult is something to be careful with, and I had my own eyes opened to certain aspects of our reality , but there can be a cost. I saw it paid by a number in our section who were part of such things. In retrospect I DO think that part of what kept me from paying similar prices is the very firm moral and outlook I developed through my Catholic upbringing and education, and in many ways, I can be described as very "based" and in this, very grounded and this kept me stable when others were spinning loose (and this applied also to my more kinetic pursuits too).
Now maybe this has a LOT to do with my family. I mentioned my familial background a bit in a different unrelated reply to a comment above by bobby collins when he said Sepehr should have his own netflix series, but I come from a family where the men and women did their jobs, in a world full of the other guys, and even when dealing with horrors...and certainly my uncle, my father, my grandfather, and I saw horrors, we did our jobs and yet deal with things with great equanimity. Yes, I had even before the military, and more so during and after it, the typical combat arms veteran unhealthy coping mechanisms and dark sense of humor, which I mostly take out in meme form these days, but I remain very much based. Growing up, I had no fear of the devil, nor of hell. There was always, however, a strong compulsion, and expectation that 1. You would do the right thing, even when it was hard, in fact, ESPECIALLY when it was hard, and 2. You would do your job, so try to make sure number one and number two were not at odds with each other. No one else in my family went into the exotic pursuits I did, but my family also has a very normie bias as a whole, and I sought different experiences and deeper knowledge, though often the price to obtain those was unreasonably high as I later experienced.
I do not know what your Catholic upbringing was like, but mine never scared me away from looking into the light. One thing I can say they never taught us, even amongst the Jesuits, many of whom MUST have known...one of my jobs was work grant and I worked in their residences in the kitchens and switchboard, so I spent considerable time with many of them outside of the classroom, was how esoteric and coded so much Catholic symbolism is, and how...both pagan and occult it is. Much of our history is occulted. It was my own occult education that opened my eyes to such things, but the symbolic education I obtained via my freemasonry initiations gave me a much wider and deeper recognition of such things that remain in plain sight, but unknown to the vast majority of Catholics. A key question one must ask is why the laity, and indeed, most of the priests, are kept ignorant to such things, because the answers to such may be revealing, especially in light of the current and even previous popes in my own life.

if not removed from the harvest, then ground with the grain, then baked as bread, conditions in the BREAD are present that either lead to "ergotine posining"
or perhaps a synergistic psychedelic intoxication from a common type of red mold growing on the chemically changed (baking = chemical change) ergot infused bread.

ergot does not "contain" lysergic acid like a bud contains THC/CBD.

Ergot fungus Claviceps Paspali containing LSH (lysergic acid hydroxyethulamide) is the active alkaloid, not LSA. LSA is a sedative. LSH is a powerful psychedelic much like LSD.

@@AustinKoleCarlisle ego is not inherently evil nor good. It can swing either way if not checked. It overcompensates in negative behavior if it is not restrained. Yes it’s what separates us from animals. It can be used properly giving someone certainty and a boost of confidence to do good things as well. Having an ego and controlling it is what also makes us human. After death there is no ego because you are no longer human but at your purest state, a soul. Ego is a human attachment, it comes with the territory and it’s something that we learn from and have to experience.

The nature of these "Pagan" rituals/initiations resonates with the human state of consciousness in that time, when a human collective "dreamstate" was present.
The loss of these practices is justified when one keeps in mind that the initiation of the human individuality, the "I am" presence, has no need of external power, be it of human, animal or plant-origin.
Where we are now, 2023 Anno Domini there's no need for a collective trance-state cooked up by masters, shamans and gurus.

When you really think about it, this is the kinda sh*t the elites would do and promote but have since kept secret for some time but it's now seeping back into society, while they also covertly push strict judgemental prudishness for the other side to oppose with which has also been going on for a long time. I am neither extreme. What someone does with their mind and body is their personal business, but the effects will make themselves apparent eventually. We make judgements frequently but of course, to judge another human as inferior or somehow below us as if we don't all contain the same potential is of course a flawed notion and of lower consciousness and awareness but still very common these days, but we can see that this is gradually dissolving for more and more individuals.

Did I judge anyone here? Am I allowed to have an opinion? Can I not ask questions? Can we not discuss the possible side-effects and ramifications one's personal private choices may inadvertently have on society as a whole?
Labeling personal objections as "moral hang-ups" can be used to justify anything, _anything,_ by deflecting the examination back on the objector or one who questions. I just love that you did that though... to make me look judgemental, perhaps spiritually and sexually stifled, un-evolved, unaccepting of others, their lifestyles, and points of view. I'm trying to figure out why you and others get defensive about examining and questioning these types of activities though. It's not that Robert is even promoting these types of things in his videos - it seems he's just presenting the facts as he finds them in an unbiased manner. If he's promoting it somewhere else, I'm unaware of it. But I don't have to accept everything as a viable option for myself. I'm not against liberty or personal choice. But to point the finger at me as a knee-jerk reaction to my opinions without discussion is as hypocritical as you're making me out to be.
Yes, Jung and integrating the "shadow" is all the hype these days. I live in the f*cking shadow. Now it's time to turn the light on all of us, and everything, starting with ourselves. No more excusing questionable behavior as just a personal choice. But at the same time these things should and must be approached with compassion, diplomacy, sensitivity, genuine care, understanding, and self-reflection.
But if I feel I'm being lied to or something is being pushed onto or presented to myself or society as beneficial when my instinct or intuition is telling me it's not, regardless of if it's a genuine belief or not, I can't promise a detached response.

I recently discovered that the consciousness can leave the body with your perception/awareness staying with the consciousnessless body. It seems to occur based on neurotransmitter levels. For a moment, I felt like an animal. I was there and aware of my consciousness when it came back. It spoke to me while it was gone, as a separate entity. It's pretty wild. I have achieved this 3 times and plan to study it more.

A very good presentation, as always. A lot of the ideas in here remind me of Freemasonry. The idea of presenting a way of being better, of living better. But maybe that's to be expected if the idea presented in The Hiram Key is true, that Freemasonry is descent from Jesus Christ, and in turn from these Greek rituals.
