More luck than brains. My wife and I got a good deal on a boat just as Covid was begining. The dealer lot was full of boats and nothing was moving. A year later we returned for a warranty service and the lot was empty, and the price of our boat went up ten thousand dollars.
Awesome price tags during the fall here in TN, Lake Life shuts down right at Labor Day so that’s when people either sell their boat because the novelty wore off, or people needing/wanting a bigger boat. I’m afraid I might be that guy that wants a bigger boat soon! Love your videos, very informative 👍

Looking to buy my 2nd tri-toon. Made all the royal mistakes with 1st purchase because I was buying a used boat from a family friend. Didn’t take the time and research because I wanted the boat on my bday weekend to enjoy with family/friends (impulse buy). Spends hours broke down on the water on multiple trips. Embarrassing, Exhausting and a lot of money wasted to get boat where it needed to be; sold it at that point. Thanks for the tips! I will continue to research prior to my next purchase!
The best time to buy a boat to keep yourself entertained safely is during a pandemic. The worst time to buy a boat for a wide choice of boats and good prices is during a pandemic.
I WILL get a nice fishing vehicle 22-24 CC in the 40K range. I know I can and your advice will help me do it!

Still a few years out from a purchase because I’m paying college bills. I come from a big family and want to invest in something that will bring the family together to create memories. Started looking at pontoon boats, but I’d like the opportunity to travel between NJ and DE. Dealers are consistently saying to invest in something ocean worthy. Recommendations and research are pointing me to Grady White and Boston Whaler, but the price points are high. One dealer also recommended Sea Ray. Really happy I found this channel and the resources I’ve been looking for for nearly two years. Thank you!
