Setanta Sports News - Launch, Thursday 29th November 2007

This channel was launched by Setanta and Virgin Media in 2007 when VM fell out with Sky and cable lost Sky Sports News. The channel's content was produced by ITN. Although it didn't get the ratings of Sky Sports News, it was well recieved by the viewers who did watch it. The channel ceased broadcasting in June 2009 when Setanta UK was placed into administration, all of their channels except Racing UK and LFC TV were closed down.
