Setanta always felt like it never had a hope from the beginning. It came in at a time where Sky was never in any danger of being dethroned so I always found it a bit bizarre that Setanta tried to take them on. Surprised they lasted as long as they did.
Dilated Beholder I loved setanta I was extremely sad to see them go. They were exceptionally ambitious and came so very close to beating Sky, but ultimately they spent so lavishly they were put out of business. I miss them
setanta's coverage of the Blue square premier was brilliant its a pity sky didnt carry it on after setanta went tits up, come on sky theres more to life than just the premiership, There's some great football out there that fans want to see.
Actually, Setanta was giving a much better deal for their boxing. Sky Sports do a proper PPV Boxing package where you would of course have to pay for each single fight which isn't worth it in the end.

slightly ironic that the song chosen is "infinity" It certainly got better once they got rid of the 2 scrolling bars along the bottom but in general the screen was far too busy.
I'm an idiot for dessing Dzeko? He comes from a country that probably to most still is unknown! Yes, he won the german footballer of the year? And? Scott Brown won the same title in Scotland but didn't really get any extra recognition for it, and he did have a brilliant season. And I am very informed about football, I just had never heard of Dzeko before. I knew that Wolfsburg had won the Bundesliga.
I didn't like Scott Booth but it was good to hear Ian Crocker commentating again since he actually knew a bit about the SPL from the old Sky Sports days. I felt the coverage was shit when Jock Brown and Mark Hateley were commentating because they were both massively biased towards Rangers and it's funny because Setanta's main coverage used to be The SPL before they got Premier League rights from England in 07, yet they stopped giving a shit about it.
Setanta also covered the SPL. A 9 minute resume of their coverage of sports and they don't mention the SPL once. Says it all, really. Crap coverage, they won't be missed. Especially Scott Booth.

We beat France TWICE in one fell swoop on our home turf and in Paris. We were about to qualify for the Euro 2008 tournament but were screwed over by some Spanish referee instead. And infact we have very good players over here, I'd like to see how many Bosnian players have been big signings down in the EPL. Oh wait, none!
