great info. been working the upgrades board since I started & always barter most of my vests but I'll be honest I did NOT know some vests cannot be made in certain maps. I've read conflicting info saying the recipe is different but never confirmed that & honestly your videos are very truth worthy. keep up the hard work!
I got very lucky to play with a DMZ pro who took me to Koschei and B21, back to back. Killed The Rhino and The Sniper while getting his mission completed (I can barter for stealth vests now). Then we went to B21 and killed Velikan (my first time, only Boss I haven’t killed after killing Rhino and sniper of course). One more Velikan kill and I will get the barter for the grenade launcher which is sick!!! I’ve played DMZ since day 1 and thought I knew just about everything but this guy schooled me on SOOOOOOO much. His knowledge was boundless. Thank you #Slasher!!!
The same thing happened to me. I had the drop on a guy going into the complex but I decided to send him an invite instead of killing him. So he walked me all through the complex which I had never been before and we killed The Rhino and The Sniper together the haaarrrrrd way with no bomb drone which was difficult af. Then we had to exfill with no nvg's we barely exfilled with half a second left. I will forever be grateful to that guy. I haven't been back to the "coochie" complex since. I hate that place. And I desperately need 5 AQ laptops but screw it. I refuse to go back. Eff that place.

Ha yeah I went into that place for the first time yesterday with one other team mate and it wasn't nice, got lost for age's, ended up going into some dark area which was massive and going into a room getting rushed down by a bunch of armoured up enemy's, the moment when it hit me on crap how do we get out of this place lol
Or something like Black Ops 3 zombies Tranzit where you have a bank to store your money until whenever you came back online or the fridge to store your weapons but for DMZ supplies like Vest, self revives, revive pistols etc....
Hacking uavs as a solo is game changing ,I use a stealth vest but if I find a 2 plate comms ill stealth the uavs and switch vests ,hack them ,then switch back to stealth, 😂😂 ✌
That is something I did not know, that's awesome. So risk being spotted to get in. I bet a good method is to also carry a stealth vest, run in silently and switch last second to take the UAV tower.

you can only get the tempered from killing the al mazra jug because he is a comander and the bounty board is only for commanders the other jugs count as just shadow company npc and not commanders
i ended up accidentally killing the Chemist ( he just ended up right at the edge of his zone, and i was being pushed that direction) i found no vest at all.. gold skull, AUAV.. no vest... glitch..?? ( i would be shocked if there was a glitch )..
For the Pyro.. check buy stations through your games and youll find the keys for him for $35000. Once you have one either infil for a chance that the pyro will be in the location you have the key for.. or maybe youll get lucky and he will be in the location where you get a key for in the same play through..
Best Route to go kill the Rhino/Sniper is either radiation or water entrance, get the secret keys and to takes you straight to the shop keeper, then use the alt route entrance to avoid a ton of AI, proc the Rhino, go hide in that corridor, two bomb drones to kill the bosses and and L2 key to get out quickly. Can save tons of time, and no need to enter the chemical plant.
Honestly i just go to koshi and build the vests I want there. All the items are extremely easy to find. I go there every time I die and lose all my stuff lol
I would say getting temp' vest in Koschei is easier and better by 2 reasons if you are not solo. - You can get multiple of them in 1 session, so if you want to fast full redeploy for your full team then getting in Koschei will save you more time than going after other barter and/or Pyro. - Acetic Acid is so easy to find in Koschei especially if you went in gas entrance from oasis (You can still find it somewhere else inside Koschei).
If a platoon of 4 roles by and one is wearing stealth vest, will you get a notification for "squad of operators" or "platoon of operators"? Something to test maybe!
Platoon callout, 100%, as it condsiders every individual player as part of platoon so if you're within 100m of one of them who doesn't have stealth vest, it'll call platoon

Yesterday I needed to regain and I fought my way to one of your "guaranteed" spots for a 3 plate and whadyknow... nothing there. Then I got smoked by a squad of armoured AI because the place was super hot.
Made plently of medic plate vest, but non of the others, been impossible to find the encrypted usb stick, only ever found 2 in dmz. They ruined the crafting for it by making it a usb stick instead of the electrical components

I'm very glad that they buff the stealth vest, they buff the functionality and counter comm's feature without making it overpowered as it should be. The stealth currently is the best vest for solo players.
It's RNG but you can still sometimes cheese the the tempered vest from Pyro through the embassy window. It depends where exactly he falls when he dies, but you usually can pick up some of the items he drops through the window
Geekseh has a video on how to do the sniper solo, and if you search Phixate has a very good one on doing the sniper and rino in 60 seconds. Basically you just need bomb drones and to know the route to take. Another tip for the Complex is to turn off crossplay before you start DMZ. This makes it harder for the game to fill the Complex lobby when you matchmake into it so there's a chance you can spawn in the Complex with no other players in there.
Not MATTER OF FACT, but most likely the case. The Jug on Ashika DOES NOT count towards the Tempered Vest. It didn't for me, but the whole Wheelson debacle existed so who knows. I'm sure someone does

fun fact the sniper and rhino are the easiest bosses in DMZ take a bomb drone for the sniper and broadside for rhino or just 2 bomb drones and kill them both in 30 secs, once again take the water path to koschei get the 2 keys to skip the night vision area grab the alternate exit key so other parties cant come at you, i just sprint through the adds to leave them for enemies as a alarm of sorts to let me know they are close to me. if ya have the l2 key you will be gone before other teams even get to you if you know what you are doing
@@luanlacerda4217 thats what i was saying you get there so fast you wont even see another player the only way to match the speed is go the gas side and be on your game grabbing keys and moving through fast use radiation pills makes it easy cause they stack now you can pop a bunch at once for a long duration, the thing is no one goes gas side cause they hate it so by going water side you basically take out the risk of a team being there as fast as you.

The armored comander is the al Mazrah juggernaut, if you kill a juggernaut on any map that's not al Mazrah it will not count. It has to be the al mazrah juggernaut. An easy way to find him is Intel contract because it reveals the nearest boss
Just killed the juggernaut in the water tunnels of Ashika and they didn’t count for anything. I have not killed the juggernaut anywhere else and it still showed 0 kills for the juggernaut
The Diamond drill in the R4D locked room is not a 100% spawn, not sure the rate but you may have to run multiple times to get it to go drill the safe next to the case locked room... It's frustrating but just keep at it and you'll get it eventually. Great video, hope you keep up with this and do one for bags.
You can tell if the drill will be glitched by your tactical and ammo count. When you spawn into the complex and you see that your tactical and ammo are missing then you’ll know the drill is glitched before you go for it. I run solo and I usually end my run down there. And that’s what I’ve noticed. Complex is bugged.
Lol, I just got a exfil streak past 10 yesterday running solo. I’m really thankful to no longer need a two plate stealth vest now that I have the ghost. I’m aiming to complete another streak today on a different operator, and eventually get that 3 plate coms vest
I have 2 questions: Q1. is the range still 200 meter for the coms? Q2. With a Coms vest, Lets say a team of 4 is split up and 2 of them are in my range, will it say operators in the area or a squad of operators? Q3. you also have 2 plate special vests, is their only down side that they have 2 plates or are their special abilities also decreased?

I tried this and it is literally bullshit. I had the comm vest and definitely couldn't change the UAV tower to my favour.
The thermal scopes with the brown screen read the symbols on the wall in the Alpha room.

Waterways juggs do not count from what I understand they aren’t actually designated as a commander.
You can pick them at random from those orange boxes. I just had the stealth vest which I picked up in Vondel at a random orange box
But they are only 2 plates. These are always 3 plates.
I think this has already been said, but the medic best got a stealth update with reloaded and it now increases health regen!

Tempered can only be unlocked in almazra because Ashikas jug isn't an operator

only on almazrah he drops one sometimes but its rare if its at rohan drop him on solid ground or his loot falls under the map most of the time

fun fact the sniper and rhino are the easiest bosses in DMZ take a bomb drone for the sniper and broadside for rhino or just 2 bomb drones and kill them both in 30 secs, once again take the water path to koschei get the 2 keys to skip the night vision area grab the alternate exit key so other parties cant come at you, i just sprint through the adds to leave them for enemies as a alarm of sorts to let me know they are close to me. if ya have the l2 key you will be gone before other teams even get to you if you know what you are doing
I have a lot of L2 keys in my stash, most people dont know this exit and is a good way for solo players
Also the keys from water path is a insane shortcut, my rhino/sniper solo runs is very funny, i never see any others players in my runs :)
@@luanlacerda4217 thats what i was saying you get there so fast you wont even see another player the only way to match the speed is go the gas side and be on your game grabbing keys and moving through fast use radiation pills makes it easy cause they stack now you can pop a bunch at once for a long duration, the thing is no one goes gas side cause they hate it so by going water side you basically take out the risk of a team being there as fast as you.
@@luanlacerda4217 thats why it takes me no time at all to regain if i dont want to hassle looking for stuff in al mazrah or using a key just run to a hospital get you a rebreather and head to water entrance, if your not doing sniper or rhino and u got the l2 key soon as you leave the buy and get to the l2 elevator youve only killed like 10-15 AI
@@luanlacerda4217 i keep em in my stash for those regains lol and when soemone tells me they need gear and or weapon parts from koschei, fun fact you can find detailed maps of all the zones i got a koschie map and building 21 map soon as i could i memorized paths and now i can walk through most teams as they are lost in what they think is a maze but not for me lol

The armored comander is the al Mazrah juggernaut, if you kill a juggernaut on any map that's not al Mazrah it will not count. It has to be the al mazrah juggernaut.
An easy way to find him is Intel contract because it reveals the nearest boss

Just killed the juggernaut in the water tunnels of Ashika and they didn’t count for anything. I have not killed the juggernaut anywhere else and it still showed 0 kills for the juggernaut
The Diamond drill in the R4D locked room is not a 100% spawn, not sure the rate but you may have to run multiple times to get it to go drill the safe next to the case locked room...
It's frustrating but just keep at it and you'll get it eventually.

You can tell if the drill will be glitched by your tactical and ammo count. When you spawn into the complex and you see that your tactical and ammo are missing then you’ll know the drill is glitched before you go for it. I run solo and I usually end my run down there. And that’s what I’ve noticed. Complex is bugged.

Lol, I just got a exfil streak past 10 yesterday running solo. I’m really thankful to no longer need a two plate stealth vest now that I have the ghost. I’m aiming to complete another streak today on a different operator, and eventually get that 3 plate coms vest
The Juggernauts in Ashika don't actually count as bosses/commanders so you can't unlock the tempered vest from it..
I have 2 questions:
Q1. is the range still 200 meter for the coms?
Q2. With a Coms vest, Lets say a team of 4 is split up and 2 of them are in my range, will it say operators in the area or a squad of operators?
Q3. you also have 2 plate special vests, is their only down side that they have 2 plates or are their special abilities also decreased?
