i’m definitely in the same boat you are when it comes to overthinking, but i’ve been researching into camp a lot in the past few months bc i’m hoping to go next year. when it comes to qualifications, you don’t need any! you genuinely just need to be outgoing and have a really good relationship with children, and the skills you need will rlly just depend on the role you want to take on at camp. the costs are something i’m not 100% about though as i’ve struggled to find a video which goes into detail about them so i’m with you there. a video on them would be great
hey carys! unrelated to the video ..but a suggestion ..your hair seems to have gentle waves..I think if you’d let them dry without combing when wet, they’d be wavy. You’d look great with wavy hair (not that you don’t already). You’re awesome and loads of love to you

i so agree with the part about never being alone, like even when youre asleep fr haha. One thing about decorations for your bunk tho for first time counselors, check how your camp's sessions work bc at my camp we got new campers every week and every week counselors would be in different cabins, so there wasnt much of a point in decorating your bunk just to have to take it down in a few days. Just something to consider, i wish we could decorate ours!
