    I like the kicker model.
The other would only be great for rec kayaks due to the strap. Most rec kayaks have the rounded bottom. Where as all fishing kayaks use some form of tunnels. My boss 12 has the almost traditional W hull. means that strap is going to be a weed catcher.
I would like to see the kicker model minus the built in battery and then allow for after market batteries.
But i suspect its not a 12 volt motor.
I personally do not like non 12 volt systems, They conflict with all the 12 volt stuff i run and they are harder to find and more expensive.
I dont mind the size of the motor Size doesnt always equal more speed.
I do question how rugged it is not due to size but because the motor looks like all plastic.
Even bixpy has changed over to metal housing.
Now keep in mind i am BRUTAL on my stuff especially my motor.
Even with my bottom skid plate i was throwing gravel out of my prop all day yesterday. Every trip i have to put a edge back on my prop lol.
now i openly admit i am not using my stuff as intended lol.
I really should get a airboat for the river. But i would need a micro airboat.
Iam actually brainstorming some type of ultra light pusher motor that could go easy on and off for my river runs. Think weed eater sized motor.

They do have a external battery port, but would be cool if it allows for aftermarket third party batteries. So far it only seems to allow for their extended proprietary battery.

Looks like an auxiliary/recreation trust system designed for paddle boards. NOT a primary system for use on a heavy fishing kayak.
Nevertheless, keep innovating. Maybe something in the future would be of interest to me.

….and I will be there to film it. I just share anything and everything I can in the space.
*I’ve got something amazing for kayaks coming this week!* Going to blow minds. Super affordable. Been working on it for over a year to get it available to viewers. Still adding features. Going to be less than half the price of all competition, lighter weight, more versatile to mount, and more.

I would consider purchasing this motor for my small inflatable but the fact that 2 hands are required to drive it was very disappointing to me. Hard pass I'm afraid.

If I’m being honest this kicker motor seems like better buy. tbnation.net/collections/epropulsion-electric-outboard-motors/products/epropulsion-spirit-1-0-plus-3hp-electric-outboard-motor?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIpLzq1aiRgAMVxdaGCh1sLAPCEAAYAyAAEgJIRfD_BwE&ref=LiteSkiff&variant=39585207681159
*solar chargeable, uses proprietary battery but also can have external non-proprietary battery, more power, better specs.*.
The Thrustme Cruiser for kayaks isn’t bad deal due to being more unique, but the kicker isn’t very competitive in my opinion.

@@KayakDIY i have owned a thrust me cruiser for 1,5 years now and been using it alot on a sea kayak and its awsome, easy to use and light weight.
its also so small that i just can pack it down in the back of the kayak when not using. and i am also using a porteble solarpanel and baterybank to charge it when im out camping.
its also nothing like this for kayak that i have seen and it is also a small market and a lot of resource and development that have gone into this wich i think make the price more understandable. : )
