Great video! You answered almost every question I had as they came to me. The short pin spacing is one I haven't heard of using a Schlage keyway. I'd be curious to look at the cylinder. I am still wondering if you can change out the cylinder but I am guessing you can't because you said it can't be keyed-alike to work with the house locks.
    Thank you for the video.

I'm impressed you knew it was a schlage keyway! 😃 You are correct. A regular cylinder will not fit, we tried.

@@LocksmithRecommended Schlage key blank. His workshop where he invented the KIK knob is about a mile from my house. I've done very well with Schlage. I appreciate their quality and the diversity in their keyways and the trees which are confusing at first but you start seeing the logic for permissions until you arrive at the SC20 and realize how much you can do.
I love the videos, the way you show and explain things really helps me. 👍

Interesting, I’ve never heard of this company. Eufy is $99 and doesn’t require a bridge btw

I haven't installed any of those. Are they good?

@@LocksmithRecommended yeah they’re a good bang for your buck, you can spend more and get fingerprint unlocking or even a built in video doorbell. They also use standard sized keys so that’s a plus

So if the over-ride key does not have standard pin spacing, where do you get copies made. I tried and no one had a key blank to cut a copy.

It's an SC1 key with tighter spacing. Any locksmith will be able to do it for you. They'll have to cut the SC1 key shorter and then duplicate.

Its not ADA approved. Thumb srength is one of the first things seniors lose.

Good to know! You really need a lever for ADA. Lever smart locks are available from several manufacturers.

Looking for something like this that is ADA rated and in a grade I or II. Recommendations?

I don't know of any residential deadbolt that is ADA rated. Is this for a home or business? You'll need a ADA rated commercial lever lock.

@@LocksmithRecommended New home build. I'm looking for a great keypad/Bluetooth digital lock that this soon to be wheelchair bound old fart can use.
