i ordered it from amazon its the 20 inch cut if i had gone for the 22 inch cut i would have been £99 just for postage the one i got was very heavy i had to help the delivery mad to unload it
Another one saved from the scrap heap Mick well done
Yeah mate
Interesting that it was the bulb as well. Mrs P. in your sliders LOL.
She will have to order her own for Christmas lol
It's most likely the repair shop wanted to put a new carb and recoiler on it and the customer didn't want to put the money in to it. The new spark plug may have been put in by the costumer. Good video!!!
Didn’t realise the primer bulb could cause issues like that. Perhaps the shop that didn’t fix it didn’t know that either. Great recovery
I bet that repair shop is working on some higher end stuff so took one look at this machine and said nope ! It fought you a little but you got it sorted 👍
Yeah mate I think your right
Great fix!!
When you pulled the carb bowl off it looked copper 🤣
Honesty thought you were gonna strip the jet. When they are tough like that for me, into the ultrasonic it goes.
Put it up for sale! I sold a $350 Honda on Sunday it was mind blowing bc we had snow in the morning! 🇺🇸🔧🦅🤙🏻
Yo yo.. yeah I would normally put it in the cleaner but just goes to show it can be done the old school way.. ta for watching
Let see what Mick finds on the lawn mower
I don't think it was unrepairable I reckon the shop gave them a massive quote and probably worked out cheaper to buy another mower. That's what I think Mick.
Good job buy the way.👍👍
Thanks mate
Great job Mick. Thinking the other shop didn't want to mess with it because of problems getting parts
Maybe but why was the carb so dirty.?
It’s better now than when you picked it up Mick. You can fix this
great work at figuring out the problem Mick. Have a good holiday.
Thanks mate.. hope all is good your end
Hi Mick, this vid reminds me of a McCulloch mower I took into a well known Sheffield mower place because the drive was not working, after about 4 weeks waiting for it to be repaired ,I went to the shop and was told the drive was gone and was quoted £120..I told them not to bother I would use it as a push along....well to cut a long story short ,after looking round it myself found that the small bolt holding the belt pulley onto the shaft was missing...put a new bolt in started it up .hey presto drive worked..big saving on this well known company 👍
Wow a £120 bolt. Lol good one mate
Sorted that one out Sir, well impressed with that. I reckon I could start my own business mending mowers as long as I stay away from Conkers channel 🤣🤣🤣
Lol that's how I feel lol
Well done for getting it in the end.
Slow and steady wins the race mate
I like the Vin Diesel look Mick 😎
Lol
How's she goin'? That was some dirty carb eh!! Lots of 'stuff' in there and everything was pretty gummy by the looks of it too. Finding the bad primer bulb was the answer too by the looks of things. Nice repair Mick. Take 'er easy!!!
Thanks brother.. yeah it was a head scratcher but we got there in the end..
Happy as Larry . Safe journey tomorrow mate.
Ta mate
Explains why they didn't fix it. But a good save for u mate 👍
WOW MRS P ,, YOUR A LUCKY GUY, Good video THX Ed Loretto Ontario Canada
Ta mate
Being a dealer myself it Could be just that the guy decided to upgrade, I won't ever throw a machine out if it has a dirty carb, if its got spark, got compression and fuel I'll give it the time of day. A running machine is profit at the end of the day eh. 😆 That's just myself though. They wolf machines are a royal pain for spares like you say.
Well it has two of the three.. but the carb was soo bad.. not even looked at? May of been an upgrade like you say
The wonderful Chonda engine! Chinese Honda clone, in essence the same engine used by Hyundai and Einhell.
An Einhell gave me a real headache where the idle jet from the factory was too small and needed opening up just a hair! To stop it surging. Also the air box to carb join had to be totally air tight.
I sold it on and the new owner put E10 fuel in it and it just wouldn't run on E10, as soon as he put ethanol free fuel in it all was fine.
Thanks for watching and for the information mate
That clip you discarded on the vacuum hose might have been there for a reason. I would put my hand over the fuel cap whilst priming it.
Hi John.. no mate it just pushed on.. no clip needed.. ta for the tip and for watching bud
Looks like my old mate Percy Vere helped you out there Mick. I thought given the state of that carby you would have bunged it in the ultrasonic while it was off. Well done Mate another one nearly ready to sell next season.
Yeah I was going to bit thought it would be ok
Old mowers and repair shops don't go together. I had one in where he was quoted £60 just to look at it, keeps me busy lol. Great vid sir Mick
Yeah mate .. always somewhere for people like us..
Super save Mick - those primer systems / carns can be quite temperamental
Yes mate
Good save and nice video Mick. Yeah those safety sliders looked like swim flippers on Mrs P.
Now she should go disinfect her little feetsies. :)
Lol she has stinky feet.. I had to wash my sliders lol
🤣🤢🤣
Hello mick id go with the repair shop gave them a high bill or a new mower and they took the new mower and repair got it out of sight im liking the tracksuit mick as always mick bang on.
thanks mate
Another job well done mate 👍👍👍👍
Ta mate
Great find there in the end. Probably the fuel wasn’t able to draw up the jet due to the primer leak. Maybe the owners decided for the money to fix it, they could just go purchase a new machine. Thanks for the upload!!
Your welcome my friend.. it should do someone a turn next year
No vaccum to the primer bulb runs good
You have skill they don't have!
Lol maybe
Nice save there Mick - I will keep this in mind forward on if I get a issue like this in the shop. Cheers!
No worries my friend
Primer bulb, that's a new one. Probably sucking too much air through it causing it to stall. Good catch Mick!
Thanks cupcake.. the wolf mower are hard to get parts for..
Ok good fix
Thanks cupcake
Another great vid Mick, since watching your vids i now have the confidence to clean all the carbs on my mowers for the first time and i'm surprised they were all running. Have 4 mowers as i'm a gardener and they all run very smooth now. Thanks for the introduction of pocket rocket to this stuff is great.
Hi Andrew.. that's fantastic mate.. and will save you some money in the long run.. that's what my videos are for.. ta for the support mate
The shop said it would cost too much so the customer scrapped it
Carby clot it can be fix very simple to do maybe the lawn mower repair miss the Carby cleaning
Primer bulb gone not putting fuel to run
Ear defenders & safety glasses ! What on earths going on ! Good to see you’re keeping it real donning the old safety sliders though my mate ! I’d suggest that repair wasn’t financially viable for the shop hence why it was destined for the scrap heap….. either way you’re quids in ey….. thoroughly enjoyed. Good work brother 👏🏻👍🏻🔧
Just a bit too cold for the sliders and I keep getting wet socks lol
I would say that the time needed to repair the mower was more than the customer wanted to pay so they scuttled it. that's how I got a lot of the mowers I repaired and sold,, I didn't really count my time so it was worth it to me to get them going and sell them.
Yeah free labour.. so still room for profit..
Nice fix Mick looks like they robbed the guy nice to see Mrs p coming to your shop I see the big red tool boxes have gone
Yeah mate they have gone..the new box is fantastic
i have a wolf mower just now baught it brand new it doesnt appear to have a primer buld but my one does have a choke im only keeping it till next year then im getting an aleo mac lawnmower
Yeah .. if it has a choke it doesn't need a primer
Well done sir Mick. I bet the mower shop couldn’t be bothered to spend the time on it fault finding so told the poor fella it’s a scrapper or maybe he didn’t want to spend the money on it either way it’s a result for you my friend. Great channel 👊🏻
Thanks mate
I would say the repair shop didn't look very far into that mower Mick. Nice repair as always !💲💲Roger
Yeah. Looking at the carb I would say not
Start calling you martin unbelievable lol.Great video
Lol
I could sell that in my area for about £30. I suspect the repair was more than it was worth. 😕
It will sell for around£100 here
I work for a professional gound care company, and we would not even take this job on.
Not worth the time and efforts.
Domestic customers are the worst never want to pay.

Greart video. My 'self drive' mower, rear wheel drive, is now stuck in drive whichever position the handle is in. All the repair videos `I see are to fix when it doesnt drive. Mines the opposite; so cannot stop unless I remove turn it off. Any ideas for where to start a potential fix would be gratefully received. Many thanks
Sounds like the cable is stuck or the lever that is on the gearbox.. tip it on its side carb side up and having a look at the gearbox and cable.. make sure it's all moving
Thanks for your quick reply.
Cheers@@themowerman
Have you had a visit from health and safety mick
Lol yeah
I think the lawn mower shop just look at the engine
Yeah mate
