I enjoyed your video. It’s going to help me put the brakes on the front of my 2012 sprinter. Thank you very much.
@user-fc8po4yi2o My Pleasure! Good luck with your sprinter!
2013 Sprinter truck here, in Scotland, I just serviced the rear brakes, the handbrake seizing is a common problem esp here where they salt the roads in Winter. Now thanks to you, I'm going to tackle the front ones. 🙂

Hey 👋 from Kenya 🇰🇪
@jamesgichuhi2174 Hello my friend from Kenya!
Great job, Sprinters must have a big brake reservoir to not have to check the fluid level…
@rcf8367 Thanks! yes, it has a pretty big brake fluid tank but you have to check the fluid while doing this process!!

@KazibweRonald My Pleasure! what do you need help with?
Great video ,
I’ve done 2 brake jobs, all 4 wheels on my ‘17 sprinter , never had an issue with frozen calipers , question is what are causes for caliper to freeze up !
Once again thank you for your videos , they have helped me tremendously
@josepacheco2416 Thanks! this usually happens on vehicles that are parked for a while, and age can cause this too!
Thanks for the video

Thanx 4 yr teachings but which country from
@KazibweRonald My Pleasure! I'm originally from the Republic of Congo!
Brake fluid is readily absorbed thru the skin and can cause serious health problems thru repeated, long term exposure. Nice to see the gloves; however, you were exposed. Please use the tube.
@hypocrisyrules Thanks! will do next time!
I was thinking the same when I seen it squiring on his wrist, I was like 'cringe' lol
I stopped watching when tried to retract the pistons the way you did.
As a mobile mechanic I would not recommend this advice.
@crunkwun Really??
Remove cap from brake reservoir, remove half brake fluid from reservoir.
Remove brake sensor with needle nose pliers
Loosen top and bottom pins with 6mm Allen key
Top and bottom pin retract with a flat head screw driver so you can take the caliper bracket off.
Brake pads slide out
Clean the area
Use your brake piston tool to push pistons back
Add your lubrication
Add new brake pads
Reinstall bracket
Tighten to spec and done
