i got an old F15 and i love it, but this years A14 with the new Ryzen CPU with Radeon 890M and RTX 4060 is the real star of the show. A badass powerhouse with just 1,5 kg of weight....a dream to me.

I have the Asus Tuf A16 (2024) with the 7735hs and RX7700S. This thing is a BEAST! I bought it brand new for $849 at Best Buy, by far the best laptop for its price! Even beats the RTX4070 laptops at raw performance in most games.
AMD variant seems better. Got the 2024 TuF AMD version with Ryzen 9-8945H with RTX 4070 and it runs like pretty well with CPU temps around 65c-75c and GPU around 60c-70c when playing games on High settings after manually undervolting the CPU and reducing/capping the GPU to 105W only using the Asus Armoury Crate software. Getting games like Horizon Forbidden West, RE4 Remake, Helldivers 2, Remnant 2 and Palworld at 95-125+ FPS at 1080p High settings that's all after capping power to the GPU to 105W only. Both CPU and GPU idling at 38c-42c. Settings out of the box is awful though and yes it will thermal throttle unless it's set properly with your preferred preference on Armoury Crate.
@jaanxc typically, undervolts are different for each individual CPU, so what works for him might not work for you. Just keep that in kind so you don't mess up your machine :)
No real gains for the GPU after the 100w mark. Same for the A16 that has a RX 7700S 8gb. Its a waste running it at 120w when at 100w it delivers 3 frames less and lower noise/temps.
@MrRunItUp Yea, I got the 2023 model with the 7600s. But still, a nice gaming machine. I use it for most of my windows tasks since my main desktop runs Linux.
