@@Amanda395 He starts off with Acts 16:31, as salvation is attained by believing in Jesus as the sole requirement for salvation and you receive it by trusting faith only. I do believe the bible has more to say about receiving salvation than faith only as if there was no other command or examples. James says that faith alone, is a dead faith. Mark 16:16 says "He that believeth (and) is baptized shall be saved". Believing is in this verse as is baptism. The word "and" is a conjunction that ties these two words together. Believing, and being baptized. Can't have one without the other. Men in Acts asked Peter and the rest of the Apostles after understanding they were guilty of putting to death the Son of God asked. Men and brethren, what shall we do? Peter didn't say, hey! Just believe in Jesus and trust him in your faith. Acts 2:38 Peter said "Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the (remission of sin)... Acts 22:16 Ananias told Saul, "arise and be baptized and wash away that sins, calling on the name of the Lord". @@anonymousbiblebeliever Here are a few examples from the Bible that highlight the importance of baptism: 1. Jesus' Baptism: In Matthew 3:13-17, Jesus Himself was baptized by John the Baptist. This event marked the beginning of Jesus' public ministry and demonstrated His identification with humanity and His submission to God's will. 2. The Great Commission: In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commanded His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This instruction emphasizes the significance of baptism as part of the discipleship process. 3. Pentecost: In Acts 2:37-41, after Peter's sermon on the day of Pentecost, the people were convicted of their sins and asked what they should do. Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins." About three thousand people were baptized that day, illustrating the connection between repentance, forgiveness, and baptism. 4. The Ethiopian Eunuch: In Acts 8:26-39, Philip encounters an Ethiopian eunuch who was reading the book of Isaiah. Philip explained the Scriptures to him, and upon understanding, the eunuch asked to be baptized. They found water, and the eunuch was baptized as a response to his faith. These examples highlight baptism as a significant step of obedience, identification with Jesus' death and resurrection, repentance, and forgiveness. It is Adam's sin that condemns us..Thanks to Adam,we are all born with original sin of Adam and a sin nature. , because we all sinned when Adam sinned. WE are all born physically alive, but spiritually dead. Because of this, we have no ability to enter into a relationship with God, further, we are totally separated from God,and condemned by God and worst of all totally inability to do anything about it. WE are spiritually Brain DEAd of the things of God. It is because of these things that we sin. That is were the GRace of God comes in. Knowing this from eternity past, he made provision for it. God the Holy Spirit take that mustard seed of faith and makes it effective for our salvation at the moment of faith and faith Alone.

@@blueavianbeing2530 There are no works for salvation. Romans 6:23. The GIFT of God is eternal life. A gift is paid in full by the giver. The gift of God is eternal life. If good works could save us, then Jesus died for nothing. Galatians 2:21.
Is the gift of God eternal life? Yes. God said so. How do I know I have eternal life? Jesus died for every sin I have committed and every sin I will commit in the future. Romans 4:5-8. Romans 5:19-21. Where sin abounds, grace much more abounds. Colossians 2:13. He has forgiven me ALL trespasses. Since I have no sins to pay for I cannot go to hell. The only kind of life Jesus gives.
If it were possible to never sin we as people would still NEED to be saved. Why is that pray tell? Good question. Cuz in our unregenerate state we are nothing more than piles of stench filled trash to a sovereign and holy God. To really be saved we MUST OBEY ALL THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS. Claiming to have faith but showing NO OBEDIENCE is a one way train ride to hell. Everything Jesus taught in Matthew 5,6 and 7 is to be OBEYED. None of it is any fun. In fact it's depressing. You MUST forgive those who battered and abused or your not forgiven. It's a long list and they're hard to obey love your enemy give away your coat don't look at a woman. Your half way to hell if call someone a fool. This way way deeper than believing and accepting. Obedience is the train to the Kingdom but the tickets are really expensive.
We must obey all the Teachings of Jesus to be saved...What nonsense. Can't you see that you are talking about a Works Gospel Where did the FREE GIFT of SAvation go...Eph,2 :8? WE are saved at the very moment we believe in Jesus Christ Acts ,16:31. :
Think about it , how is it justice for someone else to pay the price for some sin he, Jesus, did not commit? Then we have always to consider Jesus and God are one that ties everything into impossible knots. Jesus gets baptized and a voice says something like in you I am much pleased. Is Jesus pleased with himself. Satan tempts Jesus in the wilderness but this is beyond insane as he can in no way be tempted. There is nothing God needs. Satan has no clue. Even daemons recognize Jesus. The wages of sin are death. God made this rule but apparently wanted to modify the rule a little because he saw that the human race being born living in sin then dying and that heaven would be empty. So on Christmas God transforms himself to Jesus so that he can be put to death and make this execution into a human sacrifice that satisfies God and Jesus. But not completely, because God needs to know that you know what a wonderful guy God is for killing himself for you. Fear not though because God wrote a book. Now there are a number of books that claim to be written by God but faith number one the bible is that book. Then comes faith number 2. How do I make sense of this book full of archaic language from a time and space far from me. You pick one, only one and entirely that one denomination that is true to God's plan. So I don't know Greek or Hebrew, couldn't tell you with clarity how these various christian denominations started, what their doctrine entails and the reasons the y give for why they have the truth and everyone else but them is fatally flawed. I had nightmares in school about writing a book report but now am believing that somehow I can comprehend a book that people caught wars over who is right and who is wrong.
Hey maybe I can help: 1. God is justice AND mercy. His justice is shown by requiring a payment. His mercy is shown by allowing Jesus to do it for us. 2. God is a trinity. We find this confusing because on earth, we always see 1 person per 1 being. However, in heaven, you can have mutliple persons per being (like the angels that have 4 persons for 1 being in Ezekiel) God is 3 Persons who share 1 Being. Therefore yes, God can speak to God. 3. The triune God sent one of the trinity to earth - God the Son. 4. Think of it like in a juryroom- the judge paid your bail, but He gives you an option. You may either allow Him to pay your bail, or you can insist on paying it yourself. He clearly tells you that you lack the funds the pay and should you take that rote, you're headed to jail. 5. faith...God says that anybody who is earnestly searching for Him with all their heart will find Him. God Himself will make sure that person finds Him. The question is - are you searching for God, or are you making up your own version of Him that fits your idea of what God should be like?
it had been played out, for centuries.....an animal was the first to die, for sin....that is where the clothing for Adam and Eve came from......an innocent, paying, for the guilty....
Jesus and God the Father are two separate beings, exalted beings. Please erase that they have only one body, you are believing that God has multiple split personality living in one body. While you and your father and mother and siblings has your own individual bodies. One God means they are united in purposes and goals and of one heart and mind. In Genesis, it says...Let US create man in our image. Jesus cannot be praying to himself, and he even said after he was resssurected.... Touch me not for I have not yet ascended to my Father.

Joh. 14:6 Jesus said to him (us), I am the way (salvation), the truth (trustworthy), and the life (eternal): no man comes to the Father (God), but by me (God the Son). Rom. 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing (studying), and hearing by (studying) the Word of God. Rom. 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:]
@@applyscripture At the judgement seat of Christ, only the redeemed will be judged for their works that were done here on earth. If they were done yielded to the holy Spirit, we will receive a crown, if they were done yielded to freshly desires, they will be burnt up. I Cor. 3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Also read: (Law vs Faith) Rom. 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace. Rom. 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes. Col. 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days. Gal. 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Phil. 3:9 And be found in him (Christ), not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: Matt. 22:37-40 Jesus said to him (us), you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it, you shall love your neighbour as yourself. On these two commandments hang (include) all the law and prophets. Rom. 13:8 Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loves another has fulfilled the law. Rom. 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Yes we all do sin ,but our personal sin don't condemn us.
Rejecting sin has nothing to do with receiving the free gift of eternal life. Acts 16:31. Works nullifies grace. Romans 4:5-8. Romans 3:26-28. Romans 11:6. Faith is not a work. Adding to the gospel of grace makes the GIFT of God of no effect. The GIFT of God is eternal life. Paid in full by the GIVER.
John 3:18. Forgiveness of all sin. Colossians 2:13. No longer condemned. John 3:18. Saved forever. John 10:28-29. Hebrews 13:5. Ephesians 1:13-14. First John 1:8. If we say we have no sin, we are deceived and the truth is not in us. Galatians 2:21. Galatians 3. Galatians 1:6-9.
Remember, we are also judged by our works. Faith plus good works is better.
@@blueavianbeing2530 There are no works for salvation. Romans 6:23. The GIFT of God is eternal life. A gift is paid in full by the giver. The gift of God is eternal life. Once we accept the gift of God, we have eternal life. To say we can lose it is to say it is not eternal life. That is an oxymoron. We can do nothing to earn it, and we can do nothing to lose it.
Since I cannot go to hell, I have to go to heaven.
John 10:28-29. Gods word. God cannot lie. The gift of God is eternal life. I have eternal life now. I cannot lose it because it is eternal life.
:
Acts 16.31 believe in the Lord Jesus......not the ....accept Jesus....easy belief group....
God did not give his only begotten self.
I´m sorry but you only know 50% of the plan of Salvation!
you have no repentence, no baptism, and no receiving the Holy Spirit....
Repentance means to change your mind about Christ, turn around and believe in Him
Don't forget Faith. It comes first.
