Hi Jessica, I think you, your family, and homestead are AMAZING. When I am under too much stress with my dissertation, I just turn on your channel and have a mental break. You have such a calming voice, and it is relaxing to listen to how you prepare meals and take care of your family. Once the children are older, then maybe you would consider looking into recording audio books (children and Christian based novels). You have such a beautiful soul and are such a loving mom for others to learn, be inspired, and mirror. God bless you, your family, animals, homestead, and channel. Blessings...
Thank you for making this video and the other videos you make. You show things that I've wanted to do for many years but did not know how to do, never having seen them done (books alone help but are not enough). With what you show in your videos, I feel better able to take action and begin doing these things. Thank you so much!
So good to see little ones helping learning that there is a purpose for everything and how to feed yourself. Everone should respect animals and see where food comes from. Very good learning, not always a fun process but important.
I follow you on Instagram, but nothing warms my heart more than these Sunday Video’s of yours. They make me smile, laugh, (like watching Levi running after the Chicken) they make me tear up of joy, when I see what a beautiful mommy and wife you are, they’re so educational, and I have lost my fear of Canning. Thank you! God bless you and your beautiful family!
Jessica, you and your husband are raising your children in so many praiseworthy ways. They know the value of hard work, sharing and contributing, and how to be caring , loving people. You've been blessed as loving parents should be. Thank you for your videos.
Just wanted to say thank you. Our family is expecting baby #5 in December. Big families now days get a lot of judgment from the community, but seeing others do it and thrive is a great calming tool. We just closed my wife’s business yesterday so she can stay home with the kiddos. With reality setting in very quickly, it was a relief to watch your video as a reminder that this all a good thing. Thank you again.
If they’re judging you they’re not your community. 🤷🏻♀️ I had just one child because I knew that was right for me and I was judged! I greatly admire two of my sisters who have big families; it can be a great gift.
Hello Jessica 🌟 I always look forward to Sunday’s when your video comes out 🎉❤ Your voice is sooooo calming. You teach this young 64 year old a LOT. I love your beautiful family, and cannot wait for the arrival of baby #8 ❤ I am always learning so many things from you 😊 You have helped me make big changes in our lives 🌹 Blessings to you and your lovely family 🌷🌟✨
Such a peaceful video. The time seems to have flown by with the new baby due so soon. All your children are growing so fast, so much taller each Fall. Thank you for sharing your life and wisdom and mostly for just being a blessing to all.
what a virtuous woman you are. commenting on my husbands account btw, im in zimbabwe and i have been watching you for a few years now, i love your lifestyle and i watched how you started out so inspiring, so hardworking, what a wonderful family you have, a lovely way to live, i also home school but not yet on our own piece of land to homestead, keep it up, cant wait to see more of your journey, love from Africa!
You’re such a good mom, such great parents - love seeing your kids play football so innocently and not attached to iPhones! Beautiful family ❤ Feel better soon .
I look so forward to your videos! One of the things I enjoy most is seeing how you use every scrap of food in some way - it’s really changed how I manage my own kitchen! I challenge myself to not throw anything away and have gotten very good at using bits of leftover fruits and veggies in the dehydrator and turning them into powders…which really increase the nutrition of the meals I make. Glad you’re all feeling better! 😊❤️
A friend of my daughter allowed us to pick apples off their tree when they harvested what they wanted. We processed over 60 qts of applesauce. It was a huge blessing for our families as we worked on the processing with 4 generations working ❤️ together. I love how you encourage people to use every scrap!!! God bless!
Yay! Not sure why but I got excited seeing Adam in a video. I think its because you guys are all together and fell complete in this vid 😆 So fun. Such a beautiful family you have !
I just love your videos Jessica! You make my heart happy reminiscing about my children's younger days and all the cooking and baking. Your husband and family are so beautiful together. I love how they all help you, especially the older boys and girls. Great ideas before the baby is born to free your time to enjoy and not fret. Thx for sharing, especially Adam's Grandpa's fruit tree farm. Absolutely beautiful trees!
I am just more amazed with every video! Your wealth of knowledge is incredible… you could easily teach “Family Life” or “Homesteading” and you definitely do to your followers! Literally, I learn something new every week and so appreciate your time and effort that goes into sharing each week with us! Much love from Missouri!♥️🇺🇸
Another great video with you & your beautiful family. You work very hard. It's tough to find the energy to do a lot when you're pregnant so I really admire you!❤️
I always enjoy seeing how you’re being industrious and taking care of your family. I hope everyone is feeling better. There’s nothing like chicken soup when you’re feeling bad.
Jessica love watching your video's, you have a way of motivating other's like myself to persevere foods and how you get all your children helping one another. Good job kid's you all are so wonderful keep on smiling, loving and helping your awesome mommy. God Bless you all
Oh my Goodness Jessica a great video and finish. Love it . We had a great week. Got to share a day with 4 grandchildren and my GG daughter's 4BD party. All in the same day. So thankful and feeling so blessed that God's allowing me this time and memories. Back in days with my husband we used the same process with tomatoes and berries. I still have it all sitting on top of cabinets. T u for sharing pics of Adam's GD FARM and pics of Adam with children. So excited about your new baby. I got 2 nights wuth my babies and enjoyed so much. Pray for me I will be having Rt knee surgery on 19. And this week makes a year since my 16 year old G. Son Jaden went to see Jesus. Pray for his daddy mommy and brother. Healing. God's blessings upon you and yours!!!
As an Australian Bundaberg ginger beer is my favourite Australian drink. It is actually pronounced bun-da-berg, bun as it hotdog bun and is named after the town it originated from and where it is still manufacture and all the ginger is grown.
Thank you for sharing that information!! I wish there were a way for a virtual tour of that facility-that would be an awesome “field trip” and learning experience for the Three Rivers Family and for their online families as well!
That’s what I did wrong! I never made Tomato Sauce before. My tomatoes did so well this past summer so I combined my beans, squash and made Garden Tomato Sauce. It’s delicious, but watery. I didn’t cook it down enough…..Now I know! I got to excited. The other thing I did was used the emolument blender and canned 4 Quarts. BOOM!! Two quarts blew their tops!!! No jars broke, but the lids and bands blew off! I was told NEVER blend and immediately pressure can because of the air bubbles made in sauces. I need to blend and stir for a few hours so those air bubbles get released. Then pressure can. The canner and jars cleaned up nicely bc I did it right away when done, but man….lessons learned! I really love to learn even when things don’t go right. I didn’t harm anyone, not even me. But TWO big lessons learned this past canning season.
Wonderful family day out visiting Adam’s family farm. Elizabeth’s apple pie looked so professional. I love chicken broth for when I have a cold, I often add turmeric for goodness but I also love the flavour. Hope everyone is feeling well again. I so enjoyed this blog, seeing the children laughing and the final shot of dad and Bub sleeping. Have never made tomato paste but will give it a try. I recognised the Bundaberg brand of ginger ale. Bundaberg is small coastal town in Queensland Australia. It was one of the main producers of sugarcane in the state. But became famous for its rum and ginger ale. Take care and blessings to everyone.
I completely understand forgetting an apron, and having regular spot cleaning of my dresses. It just proves that we cook regularly, and feed our families well. 👪
I just subbed today, really enjoy your channel i am older now kids grown etc, i just love watching your videos, I an Indiana been here one year, a transplant from the deep South. Your voice is soothing and perfect for narrating . Two thumbs up .
I'm making vegetable beef soup today. We are having a soup potluck after church tonight. I love being able to use the things that I had canned from the garden and the stuff I saved in the freezer. I even got to add my own fresh garlic that I grew for the first time. It smells so good.
How sweet! Nothing like seeing your baby sleeping by his daddy. The best pictures. And your daughter was doing a wonderful dance there. I'm so happy everybody's better.
I was glad to see you useing your mill. I have had one for some where between 35 and 40 years still in the box it came in and never knew how to use it so thank you.!! Maybe this year i will finaly take it out of the box and use it!!
It’s too bad Adam's grandpa wasn’t able to leave the farm to the family. What a great place and how nice of the current owner to share. Those fritters look amazing!!
@@threerivershomestead I can tell Adam's Grandpa knew what he was doing! His trees live on and are producing a ton of fruit. At l least the owner is kind enough to let you come visit every fall to reminisce. I can't go back to my childhood places. What a nice guy to give you his leftover squash that would go to waste💙
Grapeseed oil also has a high burn temp and it’s very light; you can’t taste it in your cooking. It is also a healthy oil. I use it when I’m frying because the burn temp is one of the highest around. I thought you might like to know this… 😊
You can also just make your own brown sugar by adding molasses to sugar. It’s about 1 tablespoon molasses to a cup of sugar from light brown sugar and you can add more molasses for darker brown sugar.
Tell Adam on of your views lives a few hours from the factory in Australia where his ginger beer is made. Love watching you videos and your family. Your a inspiration 😊❤
I love listening to you talk us through all the tasks you get through while I'm in my own kitchen working through my own tasks, it really helps me keep going, a blessing, thank you:)
omg I got such a kick out of seeing Bundaberg ginger beer in your fridge!! It is made in my state in Australia :) we pronounce the 'bun' sound like a cinnamon bun by the way, it's a sweet little country town a few hours from where I live which has a lovely mixture of farm life and the beach!
Seeing your man with your baby and being happy just reminds you that you're a goddess who grew humans from your love with your guy, your main squeeze, and that whatever changes your body goes through to make those babies are loved and appreciated by your love. You know that he loves you, your family, and the changes in your body that created that life. It makes me want to cry. Sometimes as women, we worry that our man might think the results of creating life might be unattractive but seeing them so happy with our children reminds us that they still think we're amazing and our "war wounds and scars" make us more beautiful💕
Every time I watch one of your weekly video of preserving foods, it reminds me of stuff I have in the freezer to process. What a lovely trip to the apple orchids. And those squashes, yum. Little Levi chasing that chicken... good boy. Well, who would have known that the broth would be used so quickly. Wow. That last view of Ben and Adam...awwwww. They were not feeling good. Hugs to everyone.
The mount for your tomato mill is amazing idea. Old kitchen stuff is really durable my new favorite is my immersion blender. I cook veggies then immersion blend them and fold them into almost everything.
I really enjoy the way you talk over the cooking and projects you do. It really makes your UA-cam station go very smoothly. I find that celery and also celery salt adds a lot of flavor to soups.I enjoy your station very much. I have nine children, only one left at home. I still am very busy.❤️🙏
I haven't had an apple fritter in years. My baby is 34, and the last time I had an apple fritter was at an orchard and cider mill near where I raised my kids, we used to go every year when they were little. Now we are 5 hours north of there, and no cider mill near us. But I was lucky enough to find 3 apples still on my tree. I put them in the refrigerator 4 days ago, awaiting a use for them. And now you gave me one. I made the batter this evening and I will cook them up in the morning. We can't wait to enjoy them. Thank you for the great idea, and wonderful flood of memories that came with it.
And to add to the delight, when I told my near 93 year old mother about making them, she got giddy over the thought of when she last had one from a bakery in an Amish community in Northern Michigan. 🥰
My fruit farmer gave my family a free bushel of Golden Supreme apples, yesterday! What a gift! He taught me that a great way to keep apples crisp through the winter is to spray them with water every few days. So I keep a water bottle in my spare refrigerator and every couple days I just spritz everything.
Hello Jessica, I love how your family finds joy and fun with the little things in life. I found when my two daughters were young, being outside in nature was time well spent. That was all the cost was, our time and well worth it. My girls would bring their batons, balls and bats, jump ropes, and blankets to lay on and watch the shapes the clouds make. I know my grandsons love the outdoors to but they still spend so much time indoors playing video games, etc. Take care and thank you for sharing your family with us.
Again, neti pot. Best thing for upper respiratory infections/irritations/allergies. But be sure to ONLY use NETI salt. No other. @Three Rivers Homestead use it as a personal device like a toothbrush, not for sharing.
Beautiful background noise! 😊 That simple soup looked wonderful. So kind of the new orchard owner to welcome your family ❤ Praying blessings for your family also
Thanks for sharing your week with us. The orchard visit was amazing; apples and squash-yum. You actually gave me a great idea for powdered tomato and squash. I fired up my dehydrator and made my little batches. So happy to put them in my pantry. Have a great week and take care of yourself and baby.
Hello from Oregon, we are cleaning out the garden so hot green cherry tomatoes so good. And then extra hot green tomatoes salsa. Yum on taco and dip . No waist. I have to free 5 gallon buckets full of pears people are happy to have them going for food like Apple's always ask.
That chicken pot pie filling looks fabulous!!! I'm totally inspired to make some for us too. I'm in the mood to get some ready meal type things on the pantry shelf as well.
We never ever stored the apples in the fridge. They normally stay the whole winter in a cool dry place. Carrots did my parents preserve in sand and they stay in there the whole winter.
I really enjoyed this video. Your daughter Elizabeth's haircut looks so adorable on her, good job on making the pie and the little apple decoration Elizabeth! I like the way on the chicken "day" the older boy was teaching the little boy how to do things, very smart way to handle things. I took a photo of the apple fritter recipe, I will be using this. I haven't been following long enough to know how to make vinigar before, thank you for all this information. The Pot Pie canning was genius! I will be using this also. So smart to already have a meal in a jar like this. Just a wonderful video filled with knowledge and love. Thank you so much. How do you get the oil from your tops?
I know it’s nitpicking but the name of Adam’s favourite ginger beer is BUN (as in bread bun)…..Bundaberg ginger beer, not Boondaberg. It’s named for the city in Australia where it is made….Bundaberg. Hi from Australia.
I make my own soaps but just for those should have put my apron on moments….. rub some ivory soap on that spot and set it in the hamper….. even if it’s ran through the dryer they usually come out. Saves the grandkids clothes too. But I also wash our laundry in my homemade detergent on top of that. That’s exactly how I do my pot pie mix only I just make cast iron skillet biscuits and drop them on my thickened chicken mix….. more of a chicken and biscuit I guess but save some work when all come back home to visit with their kiddos
Beautiful video so nice that Adam can come back and enjoy his Grandfathers home each year that is really special. Your teaching me alot about squash and how to utilize it, we've never really eaten here in our home neither of our parents ever ate or served it. Thank you for sharing. Anna In Ohio
I love watching the children mentor each other. Letting the younger ones get a huge sense of self worth and accomplishment. You have set a great example for your household. God bless you. Question? How do you can the cooked chicken without it turning to mush?
I just love your videos. Those fritters looked so good. There is nothing better than a wonderfully hot fruit fritter. I grew up with fruit fritters. They were made with whatever fruit was available. Thank you for sharing your days with us. God Bless your Family.
Oh wow! I want to make tomato paste and sauce like that. That’s beautiful! But I’ve learned so many lessons this year. I never made stuff like this before, and it’s so much fun! I’m learning…..
I am so excited when I see you post. Omg I love the apple fritters. Yum. Thank you from fort myers Florida. Where I am still in recovery from hurricane ian.
I am continually amazed at your selfless service of your family. As a celiac I can’t help but wonder at all the food you make but can’t eat because of your gluten sensitivity. The apple fritters, chicken pot pies, pizza that you’ll put that sauce on…it seems like you make 5+ gluten meals every week, and I wonder how you can stand not being able to eat it all.
You are so smart with using all your food up I admire how you run your home God shines a light on you and your family I'm from Arkansas and we have long growing season I want to grow more and preserve more
Hello Jessica and Adam and family hope you all are doing well. What an exciting field trip for the kids. God Bless you and Adam and your family from a viewer in Toronto Ontario Canada

I sure do love seeing those kids helping with the work that needs to be done. Excellent job!
I am from Bundaberg Australia happy to see Adam loves our Ginger Beer. Bundaberg is pronounced Bun (like a bread bun) da berg (like iceberg)
I always laugh at how people pronounce Australian cities/towns. I figure we sound just as silly pronouncing other places also.
Love the Aussie lingo lesson. Great work 😀
I grew up in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast. And now I live in Brisbane lol
I came here to comment this also, although I’m from down south. 😊

Happy everyone is feeling better! Love watching you cook & preserve! Learning so much! Blessings to you & your family!❤🙌❤
Happy Sunday Funday!!!! Always a blessing to see your upload Jessica. God Bless you and your family!!!! ALWAYS IN MY PRAYERS!!!
Beautiful crop of apples and winter squash! beautiful apple pie, blessings from VA ❤️
Jessica you are a proverbs 31 woman! I luv your family you a great momma!
This past week made strawberry applesauce and turned some into fruit leather in a regular dehydrator. Kids were nuts for it.
Oooh....that sounds delish
The mount for your tomato mill is amazing idea. Old kitchen stuff is really durable my new favorite is my immersion blender. I cook veggies then immersion blend them and fold them into almost everything.
I really enjoy the way you talk over the cooking and projects you do. It really makes your UA-cam station go very smoothly.
I find that celery and also celery salt adds a lot of flavor to soups.I enjoy your station very much. I have nine children, only one left at home. I still am very busy.❤️🙏
What a beautiful apple pie!!
That is a really nice picture of your guys napping together. Father and son, a match made in Heaven.
What a great video. Sorry to hear you were sick but happy you’re all on the mend now.
Free food is always great! What a nice man to let you take what you can. I enjoy watching you and your family.
Besides church, your videos are just another pleasant thing about Sunday here in my household!!
Beautiful background noise! 😊 That simple soup looked wonderful. So kind of the new orchard owner to welcome your family ❤ Praying blessings for your family also
Oh my gosh Elizabeth that pie is absolutely beautiful! Bet that did not last long 😊
Thanks for sharing your week with us.
Another great video! I think it's because you do it for the whole week, there are great ideas for everyone!
Unfortunately we don't have cold storage right now. Lord willing our cellar will be ready for next year. Fridge is our best option.
Loved your video - as always. I had to laugh at seeing our Aussie Bundaberg Ginger Beer in your storage fridge. Blessings on you and your family.
I know it’s nitpicking but the name of Adam’s favourite ginger beer is BUN (as in bread bun)…..Bundaberg ginger beer, not Boondaberg.
It’s named for the city in Australia where it is made….Bundaberg. Hi from Australia.
Amazing how this vid has brought out all the Aussies. I didn't realise how many of us follow Jessica!
Bundaberg Ginger Beer is made here in Queensland, Australia. Bundaberg (pronounced Bun as in fun) is a town south of us. Cheers!
Amazing how this vid has brought out all the Aussies. I didn't realise how many of us follow Jessica!
Watching at 3:30am cause I'm wide awake so why not lol. Have a lovely week.
Thank you dear heart♥️‼️REALLY fun video as well as SO dang interesting!!! You’re such a devoted partner and parent! ♥️‼️🕉☮️🙋♀️🎃‼️
Ahhh...Bundaberg Ginger Beer 🤩 Fun to see my country represented in your video. Love you guys!!!
I thought the same 😀
I love watching the children mentor each other. Letting the younger ones get a huge sense of self worth and accomplishment. You have set a great example for your household. God bless you. Question? How do you can the cooked chicken without it turning to mush?
I have never had canned chicken turn to mush. In fact, I worry about it turning tough with canning.
My chicken never turns to mush either.
I just love your videos. Those fritters looked so good. There is nothing better than a wonderfully hot fruit fritter. I grew up with fruit fritters. They were made with whatever fruit was available. Thank you for sharing your days with us. God Bless your Family.
I was born in Bundaberg. Quite a different way of saying my home town but wonderful brewed non alcoholic ginger beer.
Amazing how this vid has brought out all the Aussies. I didn't realise how many of us follow Jessica!
Great video Jessica. Loved seeing the apple orchard.
Im so happy to see you and your family doing well. It is a blessing to be able to watch these videos. Thank you for sharing your life with us. ❤
