Canadian Guy I never got to play Crash tag team racing on ps2 cause I wasn’t a big Crash fan back then then I am now so could you ask beenox to add a DLC of tag team racing to the adventure mode please
yeah the split screen is also my only issue but in general this game is EPIC well done Beenox also since they add the old music which was really great add to the game could you ask them to add the old voices too I would buy Pinstripe old voice as a dlc with smile in my face XD
You're getting really good at doing interviews, you ask the good questions and never stall or interrupt. Huge thumbs up, and beenox supporting the game after launch is more of a dream come true than the online mode being added.
I think they need to continue after Wrath of Cortex. It introduced Crunch and was a great game, and part of the same main story. That does sound like a funny game though. Maybe a follow up to Twinsanity would be better for that.
Felix literally the only thing i Could ask for is the Crash Nitro Kart soundtrack for the main menu, i love This game so much i couldnt ask for anything else than that

I've only found a hand full of players that can maintain sacred fire/USF they are very rare and most of the time I race against newcomers that just get lapped it's not fun for me or them. Also they need the ability to interact with players that you come across so far I've had to write people's names and add them that way just to play with them again.
That was great but I wish that you told him about the save corruptions, cups in online, wumpa coins and other bugs that need to be patched. Also didn't they say that after each grand prix the characters get added to pit stop?
Really happy about this game. BUT can we drop the nostalgia and get the developers to talk about more important things about the game ? Like - bug fixes, too many maps have i found buggy interactions that totaly fuck you up, like sewer speedway, and some Nitro kart maps i dont know the name of, too many bugs i came across from just 2 days of playing it. -NEW FEATURES: like being able to make your own custom CUP, and not play premade cups that may containt maps you dont enjoy playing. -Wumpa fruit gains, kinda weird and grindy and playing splitscreen just makes it worse because you get punished and earn less if player 1 doesnt finish above player 2. -SPLIT SCREEN CAMERA CUSTOMIZATION for 2 players, like being able to make screen split horizontaly or vertical at your prefference. -Maybe more singleplayer content if nothing else ? like using the nitro kart maps for a different campaing? -Online Stat tracking ? (like someone already said in comments here) maybe what racer you have highest win% with, or anything. -A drift boost tutorial of some kind ? i tried playing with few friends and i cant say they enjoying it much since they couldnt get a hang of how drifting really works, yes its nice that there is some skill capping in this game, but i rather just be able to jump in with anyone i like and just have a good time. -Load times ? ? ? This might not be fixable, but sometimes it feels like you wait longer for Crash cove to load then you spend time actually driving around it. ONE WAY OF ''FIXING"" this issue might be with CUSTOM MAP PLAYLIST's, as I mentioned above with custom cups, make a selection of 4(or more?) maps you want to play with point/position tracking and have the game semi-load all of them before starting to play so the load times between maps is shorter? i know replaying map is really fast, but where is the fun in that ? you will just get sick of that map. These are just a few things that popped in my head while writting this, and i think if we all love this game so much we should make some quality of life improvements too, not just add Reskins and a new map every now and again and call it content and a perfect new era CTR game. I know its only a 30$ game, but there is so much unachieved potential here that makes the 7 year old me sad. Thx for reading this :)

I literally can't put my controller once I start playing this game. Had the game 19 years ago and played it for years. Seeing this much content, adding additional content like the grand prix on top of that is something we never asked but definitely appreciate it. dude i remember thunder struck had hella anti grav sections, they did a crazy good job of modifying those sections. it's one of my fave modern CNK maps atm.
I actually just hope, that those guys are considering some ideas by the players. They've already done such a good job, hope they'll be able to add things like online cups and online splitscreen. It's nothing special, but I'd also like to see custom cups, so that you can for example even do a 'championship' with all tracks, miss that feature so often in racing games (looking at you project cars)
YES. Custom cups is what I was thinking that they will do. I want to make my own "Crash Cup" with last race track being Oxide Station.... instead of Slide Coliseum...
I'd like those as well as online leaderboards for Time Trials and Relic Races. A stats page with things like times retried, races complete, etc. would be cool too. And tournaments! If Mario Kart can have e-sports, CTR absolutely should too.

This is driving me nuts . I wish they could hint on what month the next 2 are. I hope they're not gonna be a month each . I need my Koala Kong and Komodo Moe and N Brio in my racing collection . And Rilla Roo , ( don't judge me I love crash bash that's why I need Rilla Roo and the rest of those charectors .)

@@endar2401 I can't think of a better time for Crash Bash Remake than now with these awesome remakes coming out . They're doing a flawless job . I don't think a nitro kart remake would happen due to like more than half of the content being put in here . But I do imagine a Nitro Kart story dlc remake being put into CTR NF as a buyable story to add on with it . That would be cool . I need a crash bash remake to happen and they can probably plunge in so much content for a like the next 2 to 3 years with just these 2 games . That would be awesome . They can turn a 30 dollar game into a 60 to even 70 dollar game in less than a year . I can't imagine what they're doing next . All I'm gonna say is there so much possibilities with just these 2 remakes . Unlike Wrath of cortex remake or Twinsanity .( besides cut content )
I love it when video games actually become very compassionate and enthusiastic about creating a fantastic, brilliant and legendary games which that everybody would probably, that always puts a smile on my face. The fact that these developers of BEENOX are capable of remastering an incredible 20 year old Crash racing game with a combined creativity and continuity throughout the franchise that have been built over the course total of 24 years of crash bandicoot, the franchise has come a long way and I wonder where will it go from here. From Naughty Dog to Vicarious Visions for Crash Bandicoot & Insomniac to TOYS FOR BOB for Spyro The Dragon, these to legendary mascots truly had PlayStation remarked it birth right, and Crash and Spyro have proven shown time and time again from past to now is that they are still the Kings of PlayStation and forever will!
I hate time limited unlocks. It's a giant middle finger to people with jobs, kids, other games and other responsibilities as you can pretty much guarantee that in order to get all of a grand prix's unlocks you have to play the game constantly throughout the season to get them. I'd rather they released a season and then I can progress to unlock that content at my own pace and do it simultaneously with new seasons as they unlock. That content still carries prestige because those players will have those skins first for a long while but it means that people who can't/don't want their life to be grinding online races can eventually unlock that content.
Still hoping that one of these grand prixs will include a skin for Coco which is her CNK outfit, because I liked that outfit. And it'd an interesting inclusion, but, maybe they could eventually include Yaya Panda from the somewhat obscure Crash Nitro Kart 3D/Crash Nitro Kart 2.
Spyro based tracks would be absolutely amazing potentially. Tracks based on the iconic spyro levels like Fireworks factory, Tree Tops etc would be phenomenal
would be cool to see more CTTR Tracks and content I love the music in that game- I also saw Nina's face on the flags in Castle Cortex as well as N Brio so that's something to look out for.
There needs to be some sort of ranking system. I do not have the time to get as insanely good as some hardcore fans want to, but I am also not a newbie and can hold my own at an intermediate level.
Yeah I agree and it sucks when you don't manage to get to the finish line before the race ends so you don't get any coins from that race :/ I'm just somewhere in the middle
15:23 I have a newfound respect for Beenox. Tbh I used to think of them as a kind of bootleg studio because they were always that studio that was just given different properties to work on. But after playing CTR which is one of my favorite and most nostalgic games. I really believe him when he says that Beenox as a studio really cares about the franchise they are working on. CTRNF is MORE than I could have ever asked for for one of my favorite games. And I see all of the attention to detail and fan service that they put in the game for fans. Thanks Beenox!
Looking forward to this stuff but they need to fix the bugs first. My save is currently intact but I can't play anything outside of Adventure mode without a freeze and corrupt :(
Amazing interview! It was very interesting to hear Wilson's thoughts and info about the design process. Really feels like a lot of love went into this game which I deeply respect. Props to Beenox for making such an awesome game!
Heads up regarding the time trial corruption bug : apparently, the problem is that the PS4 only has 31 track files even though this version has 32 tracks with the Retro Stadium. So if you don't want to lose your progress, you have to leave one time trial out for now (which would obviously be the Retro Stadium since it doesn't count towards unlocking N. Tropy)
The game is great but i think it can be better with a few things: - native 4k on xbox one x or ps4 pro / or 60 fps with 1440p in both - cross play between xbox and ps players! In my opinion this is best cart racer and game of the year
i know i can speak for everyone and say all hail crash! im so happy they are making truly good games no pay to play type stuff and the nostalgia of old times are here, hopefully to stay
This was an amazing interview :D I honestly cannot wait for the Grand Prix's to happen :) Beenox have done an incredible job with this game, I'm glad they were the ones chosen to develop it

Yeah.... that would be cool.... tying in the CTR's Story with CNK's story. Nitrous Oxide being Velo's one of the best henchmen in conquering galaxy. Once Oxide tells im what happened, Velo yells at him in comedic factor and kicks off the OG CNK story with minor tweaks. Just imagine that.....
I think it could have it's own game. But have the maps true to that game, with anti-grav areas back in. Crash Nitro Kart is a great game, just not quite as polished as CTR.
I know they are trying to respect the OG by keeping pretty much all the aspects of the gameplay the same, but some fixes would be greatly appreciated. For instance, the clumsy reverse driving mechanics, the bouncing off walls when you fail to take a shortcut (Sewer Speedway I'm looking at you) and I wouldn't mind them including new weapons, making a few tweaks like the clock power-up NOT effecting players who are behind you, being able to shoot missiles and bubbles backwards, and adding day/night settings for all tracks. But especially, pretty please, allow for 100% customizable controller settings.
I miss the first anti-grav segment in Hyper Spaceway. It couldn't have been _that_ hard to convert it into a normal gravity segment, and although Wilson mentioned the issue of stage length, it still wouldn't have been as long as Tiny Arena or Oxide Station. Hyper Spaceway feels so short now :(
They planned Tawna, Trophy Girls and Spyro since the beginning. Pretty much we had to be patient about what to come lol (Remember when people screaming for Trophy Girls?). They might be adding something surprising in the future and I'm waiting to get amazed again
As nice as this video is, what did he mean about the Grand Prix stuff leaving for awhile? I thought it was going straight to the Pit Stop after it was over like they said on the Facebook stream around E3 time. I wouldn't doubt it'd be gone for like a month or until the next Grand Prix, that way people who earned things like the new kart or Tawna can flex for awhile but its not clear. Hope they can clarify come the 3rd.
@@ajm-03 Well I highly doubt they would put in all that work just to let it go to the wayside forever. If they did it the way I mentioned I'd be okay with it cause if someone put in the time and effort to get it then they should be able to flex for a little while. But if they just made it vanish forever that would not only be a waste but a broken promise as well that the rewards will show up later in the Pit Stop as said in the E3 Facebook stream.
Ok, did i understand right? If i can't unlock all Content from a Grand Prix then the Content is gone forever and i have no more Chance to get the Content? This isn't fair, i'm not good in this Game and i want all the Content.😡
The content isn't gone forever it will be added to the pit stop after the prix is done. It will probably be released after the second grand prix giving people that earned it in the grand prix time to use it before everyone else

Well CTTR wouldnt fit, but CNK would fit nicely tho. I had an idea about Nitrous Oxide after being defeated, he returns to gasmoxia and calls his "boss" Velo that the planet defeat one of his best henchmen in the galaxy. Velo screams at oxide for his failure and decides to bring earthlings to Velo's World. Essentially, kicking of the actual CNK storyline. That would be neat I do say...

I was surprised cause I thought that Kart would be here on day one . Weird . But yeah they might include the champions kart along with fake Velo and maybe with Fake Velos giant hover Kart .
I wonder, will there also be new cup tournaments? I like playing cup tourneys rather than just single-track races. It would be awesome if we could also customize our own cup races.
I Really Hope they'll add N Brio, Koala Kong, Komodo Moe and the lab assistant (possibly with various skins from the trilogy) then since they're already adding baby Crash and baby Coco they might as well add baby Cortex and baby N Tropy (From the true ending of Warped).
Will the new tracks be available to play offline in solo after the event?? Also will I need internet to play these grand prix and level up my nitro?? I thought they said the characters u missed out on getting would be added to pit stop... some of these details worry me.. i dont like this timed stuff. Would rather pay full to have it permanently.

I dont want to play and by the end of the grand prix not able to get spyro or tawna then have to wait so long for them to come back.. just put them in the shop and be done with it. Its so tedious.. its why i hope its not very hard to unlock them from the start of the event. Ive been farming coins just in case so I could buy tawna and spyro etc when the time comes. They really need to increase the wumpa coins amount for singleplayer. Online gets soo many while solo players only get up to like 80.. there will be soo much coming to the pit stop soon and they need to make up for that and increase the wumpa coins amount for singleplayer.
I think they will be on pit stop, they must know not everyone can get play the event or earn the rewards, so I sure hope they will be on pit stop. If they will be on pit stop I would say to be fair towards everyone the event characters should cost 2000 - 3000 wumpa coins.
@@coreymckee4844 well from the graphic they showed, the characters will likely be one of the earlier unlocks, but skins for the characters will be the harder to grab unlocks... Personally I'm more worried about update size.. as I use my phone's hotspot for my wifi.. so I might be locked out due to update sizes being too large

@@endar2401 I can't think of a better time for Crash Bash Remake than now with these awesome remakes coming out . They're doing a flawless job . I don't think a nitro kart remake would happen due to like more than half of the content being put in here . But I do imagine a Nitro Kart story dlc remake being put into CTR NF as a buyable story to add on with it . That would be cool . I need a crash bash remake to happen and they can probably plunge in so much content for a like the next 2 to 3 years with just these 2 games . That would be awesome . They can turn a 30 dollar game into a 60 to even 70 dollar game in less than a year . I can't imagine what they're doing next . All I'm gonna say is there so much possibilities with just these 2 remakes . Unlike Wrath of cortex remake or Twinsanity .( besides cut content )
I love it when video games actually become very compassionate and enthusiastic about creating a fantastic, brilliant and legendary games which that everybody would probably, that always puts a smile on my face. The fact that these developers of BEENOX are capable of remastering an incredible 20 year old Crash racing game with a combined creativity and continuity throughout the franchise that have been built over the course total of 24 years of crash bandicoot, the franchise has come a long way and I wonder where will it go from here. From Naughty Dog to Vicarious Visions for Crash Bandicoot & Insomniac to TOYS FOR BOB for Spyro The Dragon, these to legendary mascots truly had PlayStation remarked it birth right, and Crash and Spyro have proven shown time and time again from past to now is that they are still the Kings of PlayStation and forever will!
I hate time limited unlocks. It's a giant middle finger to people with jobs, kids, other games and other responsibilities as you can pretty much guarantee that in order to get all of a grand prix's unlocks you have to play the game constantly throughout the season to get them. I'd rather they released a season and then I can progress to unlock that content at my own pace and do it simultaneously with new seasons as they unlock. That content still carries prestige because those players will have those skins first for a long while but it means that people who can't/don't want their life to be grinding online races can eventually unlock that content.
Or at least add the content to the pit stop after its ended

There needs to be some sort of ranking system. I do not have the time to get as insanely good as some hardcore fans want to, but I am also not a newbie and can hold my own at an intermediate level.

15:23 I have a newfound respect for Beenox. Tbh I used to think of them as a kind of bootleg studio because they were always that studio that was just given different properties to work on. But after playing CTR which is one of my favorite and most nostalgic games. I really believe him when he says that Beenox as a studio really cares about the franchise they are working on. CTRNF is MORE than I could have ever asked for for one of my favorite games. And I see all of the attention to detail and fan service that they put in the game for fans. Thanks Beenox!

Heads up regarding the time trial corruption bug : apparently, the problem is that the PS4 only has 31 track files even though this version has 32 tracks with the Retro Stadium.
So if you don't want to lose your progress, you have to leave one time trial out for now (which would obviously be the Retro Stadium since it doesn't count towards unlocking N. Tropy)

- native 4k on xbox one x or ps4 pro / or 60 fps with 1440p in both
- cross play between xbox and ps players!

Yes but I would like a Crash Nitro Kart remake. The tracks are cool in CTR, but are different. CNK has more of a story and cutscenes and what not.

Nitrous Oxide being Velo's one of the best henchmen in conquering galaxy. Once Oxide tells im what happened, Velo yells at him in comedic factor and kicks off the OG CNK story with minor tweaks.

I think it could have it's own game. But have the maps true to that game, with anti-grav areas back in. Crash Nitro Kart is a great game, just not quite as polished as CTR.

I know they are trying to respect the OG by keeping pretty much all the aspects of the gameplay the same, but some fixes would be greatly appreciated. For instance, the clumsy reverse driving mechanics, the bouncing off walls when you fail to take a shortcut (Sewer Speedway I'm looking at you) and I wouldn't mind them including new weapons, making a few tweaks like the clock power-up NOT effecting players who are behind you, being able to shoot missiles and bubbles backwards, and adding day/night settings for all tracks. But especially, pretty please, allow for 100% customizable controller settings.
I want a retro Rippa roo with his old audio. Was not happy he doesn't have the crazy laughs like I remember

I miss the first anti-grav segment in Hyper Spaceway. It couldn't have been _that_ hard to convert it into a normal gravity segment, and although Wilson mentioned the issue of stage length, it still wouldn't have been as long as Tiny Arena or Oxide Station. Hyper Spaceway feels so short now :(
The most fun and challenging Kart game I played in years
They planned Tawna, Trophy Girls and Spyro since the beginning. Pretty much we had to be patient about what to come lol (Remember when people screaming for Trophy Girls?). They might be adding something surprising in the future and I'm waiting to get amazed again
As nice as this video is, what did he mean about the Grand Prix stuff leaving for awhile? I thought it was going straight to the Pit Stop after it was over like they said on the Facebook stream around E3 time. I wouldn't doubt it'd be gone for like a month or until the next Grand Prix, that way people who earned things like the new kart or Tawna can flex for awhile but its not clear. Hope they can clarify come the 3rd.

@@ajm-03 Well I highly doubt they would put in all that work just to let it go to the wayside forever. If they did it the way I mentioned I'd be okay with it cause if someone put in the time and effort to get it then they should be able to flex for a little while. But if they just made it vanish forever that would not only be a waste but a broken promise as well that the rewards will show up later in the Pit Stop as said in the E3 Facebook stream.
I would love an ocean stage. Think about how awesome and unique that could be.

No, the items you do not obtain from the Grand Prix will shuffle with the items in the Pit Stop.
The content isn't gone forever it will be added to the pit stop after the prix is done. It will probably be released after the second grand prix giving people that earned it in the grand prix time to use it before everyone else
All content goes to the pitstop after the grand prix ends. This was answered at e3 multiple times

I had an idea about Nitrous Oxide after being defeated, he returns to gasmoxia and calls his "boss" Velo that the planet defeat one of his best henchmen in the galaxy. Velo screams at oxide for his failure and decides to bring earthlings to Velo's World.
Essentially, kicking of the actual CNK storyline. That would be neat I do say...

I dont want to play and by the end of the grand prix not able to get spyro or tawna then have to wait so long for them to come back.. just put them in the shop and be done with it. Its so tedious.. its why i hope its not very hard to unlock them from the start of the event. Ive been farming coins just in case so I could buy tawna and spyro etc when the time comes. They really need to increase the wumpa coins amount for singleplayer. Online gets soo many while solo players only get up to like 80.. there will be soo much coming to the pit stop soon and they need to make up for that and increase the wumpa coins amount for singleplayer.
I think they will be on pit stop, they must know not everyone can get play the event or earn the rewards, so I sure hope they will be on pit stop.
If they will be on pit stop I would say to be fair towards everyone the event characters should cost 2000 - 3000 wumpa coins.
@@coreymckee4844 well from the graphic they showed, the characters will likely be one of the earlier unlocks, but skins for the characters will be the harder to grab unlocks... Personally I'm more worried about update size.. as I use my phone's hotspot for my wifi.. so I might be locked out due to update sizes being too large
