While you are tracking or after you have recorded something? If it's while you are tracking some audio interfaces have 'direct monitoring'...if you can see that button press it. If you can't, just leave monitoring off and take a headphone off one ear. If it's after you have recorded, that kind of latency can be caused by buffering issues...it's trickier to fix, Bandlab has a built in 'latency test' which is meant to adjust for this but it's not available on all platforms...this is worth or try...or just get Reaper 😀ua-cam.com/video/molB6HkrclE/v-deo.html

2nd Q? I sing on harmonium box and harmonium sound gets recorded along with vocals and can not be spilted. If I put reverb or echo, harmonium sound is roaring, so how I put effects on solo vocals Please reply
The only way to get total separation is to record them separately...if you recorded it down one mic then there's not a lot you can do...you could try eqing the reverb if they're on separate channels and it's just bleed that's the issue?

But the electric guitar with the effects from the program ? Ps : I tried one time and I musted use direct monitor to hear the effects but its sounds with much latency and by the way, what latency is the best for this program ?
To avoid latency when recording...a quick and easy fix is to only have one headphone on and monitor yourself in the room...then you don't have to worry about latency at all...just turn monitoring off
Do I plug the headphones into the audio interface or my computer to be able to hear previous tracks (like drums) while recording a new track (like guitar)?

So I got everything else set up, but my headphones aren't working. They are plugged into my interface but no matter what I try the audio always comes out of my MacBook. Help?
How do I change the audio output on Macbook? Theres no options for it
go in to your main settings on your computer...choose audio, output and select you interface from the list 😀
but for my interface i have a small delay of what comes out
While you are tracking or after you have recorded something? If it's while you are tracking some audio interfaces have 'direct monitoring'...if you can see that button press it. If you can't, just leave monitoring off and take a headphone off one ear. If it's after you have recorded, that kind of latency can be caused by buffering issues...it's trickier to fix, Bandlab has a built in 'latency test' which is meant to adjust for this but it's not available on all platforms...this is worth or try...or just get Reaper 😀ua-cam.com/video/molB6HkrclE/v-deo.html
Wow thanks a lot brother very very helpful 🙏
Sorry, just wanna make sure. So you can use the Scarlett directly on your Mac PC and connect with the Bandlab without installing any Scarlett driver?
The sign up is for your warranty and the extra software...I didn't have to install any drivers.
I’m on a Chromebook, how can I get the sound settings
I think the audio settings are somewhere near the volume control in the bottom corner 🙂
What headphones is that at 1:55
I forget now I'm afraid....it was for a specific project and they provided the headphones
Wassup Ryan I got audio technica and I’m currently using BandLab I been having trouble recording my voice when I do record it on BandLab the mic doesn’t pick up no signal
Audio Technica interface? What's the mic? Does it need phantom power (48v)?
Hey so I got all my stuff connected in the focus right and my mic and MacBook but when I want to record it’s just making a robotic noise when I speak in the mic
Could be a lot of things...dodgy lead, problem with the mic, just a glitch ...have you tried just restarting the program?
I'm using window's 11 and focusrite interface along w condenser mic. Checked sound under system configuration. Everything OK 👍 input, output etc yet when I go on bandlab the mic isn't picking up signal on bandlab. I have a feeling it may be bug issue because when I click on "input -> no device" I choose "device 1" (my only option) but still no signal from mic. Anyone else having same problem?
*I usually use cakewalk by bandlab software btw & can record there. Just wanted to try bandlab app as well
Ive heard good things about cakewalk but ive never used it. To be honest I normally try and persuade people away from Band Lab where possible ha ha
2nd Q?
I sing on harmonium box and harmonium sound gets recorded along with vocals and can not be spilted. If I put reverb or echo, harmonium sound is roaring, so how I put effects on solo vocals
Please reply
The only way to get total separation is to record them separately...if you recorded it down one mic then there's not a lot you can do...you could try eqing the reverb if they're on separate channels and it's just bleed that's the issue?
For Dynamic microphones DO NOT USE PHANTOM POWER!!! youll break your mic by doing that!
Didn’t know that. Thanks 👍🏼
Hi. I have a pc and my pc is aware that the interface is plugged in. Ive even recorded some stuff some days ago but today on bandlab it just says no device. I dont understand anything.
In your sound settings (thinks it's bottom right hand corner?) what are your inputs and outputs set to? In your computer settings, not in Bandlab 🙃
The focusrite doesn’t show in my input options, i can only see audio device #1 but no sound comes out
On what computer?
My scarlet turns all lights on then off then only leaves air light on what does this mean
Is everything working ok? Sounds like you've just got the 'air' button turned on.

After you have set it all up in bandlab and created a voice/instrument track....at the bottom left of the screen do you have your interface selected as the input? If it's still not working...try downloading reaper (it's free) and see if it works in there...good luck
@@ChasingTheGoose on it just now, thank youu
But the electric guitar with the effects from the program ? Ps : I tried one time and I musted use direct monitor to hear the effects but its sounds with much latency and by the way, what latency is the best for this program ?
To avoid latency when recording...a quick and easy fix is to only have one headphone on and monitor yourself in the room...then you don't have to worry about latency at all...just turn monitoring off
Do I plug the headphones into the audio interface or my computer to be able to hear previous tracks (like drums) while recording a new track (like guitar)?
You can do either...it depends where you are sending audio out to in your settings... I would recommend using your interface as the input and output device then you can plug your cans or speakers in to the interface...sorry for the slow response...I'm lost in Pokemon at the minute
I'm having the same issue I can record guitar but can't hear drums I've recorded so I can't play along with it with my gweetar ! So all I need to do is plug headphones onto the interface and I'll hear the drums to play along to yea ??

Did you get it working? Have you selected the M audio box as your input and output in your sound settings? Does the interface require drivers that you need to download?

Im using a pc and a at2020 mic and when i record vocals my focusrite solo picks up audio on the instrument track causing feedback. How do i fix that. SOS
Hey. I don’t quite know what you’re saying…if you have the solo then there isn’t another track that could be picking anything up…it’s only got one channel. After you have recorded your instrument make sure that track is no longer ‘armed’ to record…hope that helps?
Hi,,I've got a Allen n Heath Zed 16Fx mixer. It came with the Cakewalk bundle.
But I can't seem to get to work it.Its USB, connection type. Do I have to use Audio interface,,,?.
Somebody help,,,coz I can't get in the sound input to the DAW from the keys/guitars etc etc.
Sorry for the slow response. Did you get it working?
how about the Delay? how do i fix that?
Do you mean latency in your headphones. That depends on your DAW and setup but what I normally do is leaving monitoring off and just have my headphone off one ear when tracking.
How do I get rid of the delay on the audio after recording
That means it was latent when you were recording...the only real fix for that after you've recorded is to manually drag it back
Can it be hooked to a phone that supports bandlab?
You mean the interface? I’m not sure about that particular model but you can get an interface for your phone!

I have a video to show you.
Did you get it working yet? My first piece of advice I give anyone who watched this video is....download Reaper instead. Reaper is a great place to start. Let me know if you can't get it working on Reaper. Nice one
For some reason when I plsy it back I have no pan on but it only plays back my voice in the right side of the headphones.
All the time? Or just your voice? I might need more details to be able to help. Tell me a bit more about it

on the front of your interface change the monitoring option to 'direct monitoring'...it's sometimes represented as a small circle and then a double circle (on a two channel interface)...that should help. another option is not monitor at all and just leave one headphone off. Hope that helps
