WCML, 350s and 390s needed with Birmingham to London needed with train sim world, and prioritising dropping last Gen support
They aren’t dropping last gen at this point and I highly doubt it goes to Birmingham. It will go to Milton Keynes.

@@BBS7523 modelling to Birmingham would be too much. That’s 40+ stations. And it would take 2+ hours in the 350.
@@Colt-bd2mv Nah there's good reason to believe it will go beyond MKC.
The last First-Party release was the GOBLIN Line (March 14 IIRC), and even that was pretty short in length although good in terms of scenery - some see this as a filler route. It also works well because it knocks out a train DTG need to include on the WCML:S DC Lines, cash in early. The only other British Route we got was ECML, and that was on the release of TSW4.
Beyond that we only got the C380 which is reasonably similar to the 350, with both being in the Desiro Family.
(BTW I'm talking about the devs who focus on the British Content)
DTG had pretty much a whole year to make a proper route of similar size to the ECML or longer. I see it going to Rugby at the least, Birmingham New Street seems a bit of a stretch as it's going to be a really long route, but if they do I'd be pleasantly surprised. Going to MKC would be a massive let-down for many Pendolino fans as it would essentially represent itself as a GWE copy - either you do EUS MKC or if you are lucky EUS WAT MKC, which is similar to PAD RDG and PAD SLO RDG, with the 350 doing the equivalent 166 stopper services.

I do agree, would be nice if like there was servers for Different routes and you could make like private servers for like rush hour or like a rail tour on a heritage train, that’s why I would like TSW5 to have online mode, if they add that would be worth a try for me to try online mode. One of the top 5 things I want to possibly be added to the series of games.

I do think you are right about the core tsw5 routes being packed with tooooonnnssss of bugs and errors. Just to realise corporate pushing all of dtg to get new content out but the end result being not that 100% guarantee for that quality tsw claims it strives for
A cool US route that should be made is NEC New York - New Haven which will bring back the ACS-64 & Amfleets (of course) but introduce the Metro North M8 Railcar and P32AC-DM & Shoreliner Cabcar

If you don’t want to play multiplayer then don’t. I would be an option, not the only mode available. There are routes that I don’t want. But I don’t care because I don’t have to drive on them.
They should add multiplayer. Nobody said it should strictly be multiplayer.
I wanted multiplayer, only 2 years ago to play with my friend. I’ve given up and moved on to flight sim which already has multiplayer. Dovetail has to do something big for me to return because I am really getting tired of the constant new game version to add features perfectly able to be added to the current version. I currently own a game that is being ported to UE5 from UE4 without the buy again requirement. Knowing dovetail they would release a new version when they switch engine.
I understand it’s a business to turn a profit but paying again for the same stuff is getting tiring.

I really want the GEML to be on TSW5 with the greater Anglia class 321 and class 360 to all the way to Colchester town Colchester and Southend Victoria via Romford
Love to see Manchester to Crewe, Metropolitan Line and SVR in the game. What ever they inform us, on August 20, that is coming soon, with so much content, it’s sure to contain a lot of bugs. Will it be worth it? The cost for so many bugs 🐛 🐜 will be so frustrating!!

I cannot begin to imagine the complete and utter disaster that a Dovetail Multiplayer Server would be haha.
I'm hoping that we get the Sheffield to Cleethorpes line via Brigg with a branch going to Lincoln and the trains used being the Class 156 and Class 195. Either that or the Class 222 Meridian for the Midland Mainline. Maybe both.
I hope that we get a Berlin route or Dresden Bad Schandau/Decin

I wish those guys added one of the Old Colony routes, HSP46's, and Bi-Levels to the Boston Sprinter. The BTC-3/CTC-3 Coaches have been heavily outdated far before they released Rush Hour and we already had the F40PH on the San Fran line.

Waited through so many tsw’s in hopes for the Pacific Surfliner, might as well give up now because I’m guessing it’ll be one low effort US freight route and everything else would be Austrian, German, or UK content. It’s just Train Sim Euro now.
They did record amtrak equipment when they got recordings for metrolink and even showed some teasers when they showed off metrolink photographs
Remember tsw has much more european developers. There's none for the US
@@potatoman451sounds like an opportunity for some enterprising software devs who wanna make a lot of money. Just make sure the US routes work right from the beginning! If so then take my money! I suspect many people feel the same way
I would love more US routes but I would also like other countries like Russia or Korea but the last two are out of the question.

In the DTG forum, there were a few community projects that were very advanced but suddenly went quiet. These include the SFS Nürnberg-Ingolstadt and the Main-Weser Railway Friedberg-Frankfurt projects by Pilot21, as well as the Köln-Düsseldorf project by nourthelokdriver. The Stuttgart-Würzburg project has also become quite silent, although it's possible that a different route, like Stuttgart-Ulm, may emerge from it. Some of these could potentially be the new routes that have been announced.

I honestly want to see a Florida route. Maybe Tri-Rail or Brightline, with an Amtrak perhaps on that route (silver star or silver meteor service)
WPB to MIA would be awesome. Sunrail will also be cool. Deltona to Poinciana is a nice stretch.
A good idea would be you earn points to spend on votes and then you could vote for routes fixes and locos

If your prediction of quantity over quality of releases turns out to be correct, I'm anxious about the Peninsula Corridor route's future. Contrary to the dirty TSW2020 past, DTG have shown increasing care about legacy bugs. From time to time they apply fixes to broken scenarios even as far back as early-ish TSW1. Which is fortunate, because Peninsula Corridor just can't seem to stay fixed. Every game it starts broken or gets broken by an update early into the game's life, to be fixed towards the end of that game's life or with some sweeping changes to the mechanics in the next (e.g., the dispatcher). We've had broken scenarios, broken tutorials, broken dispatcher, missing traffic, broken tutorials again, etc. Currently for many players, myself included, the route consistently crashes with an Access Violation message, and I'm worried since they haven't fixed it again yet, it'll stay like that in TSW5 onward.

For me I'd love to see waterloo to portsmouth back, with respective locos. Plus expansion of london to faversham to dover or paris/lile and rebranding it for London High Speed or something. Would be amazing along with the Eurostar.

Man I really wish they would add Berlin U-Bahn. But of course they probably won't.
New content is great and all, but i really want to see them work on the core game engine. They graphics still look worse than TS classic in some respects and there are annoying limitations (like the amount of AI) and UI issues that could be improved further. Finally i want to see a policy change for the editor so that people can use existing assets to make route from, like you can with TSC. Until that happens, you're not going to see much buy in from the community.

I have not heard the word "multiplayer" since the first Train Sim World in a video that is now private, I think they were talking about features they wanted to add in that video basically

6 new routes not 9 and online is not coming
I either want some Japanese routes or a PS2 emulator so I can play all my Densha De Go games on my PS4 and I have a lot of them! But realistically I'd be happy with further ECML expansion, particularly York to Newcastle, which would be easy to implement given that they've already modelled Darlington train station. I'd also like to see a Class 373 Eurostar which could be used on both the Southeastern high speed route and the ECML when GNER operated them in the 90s. Oh and I'd love an A4 Pacific, particularly the Mallard in record breaking speed specification!

I hope to see a Class 60 Pack come out for TSW with some tankers. Ideal for the ECML, GWE and Midland Mainline routes. Also maybe WCML if that comes to fruition.

There is some speculation, mainly amongst the devon train spotters that the UK route by JT is a route of Devon, most likely from either Exeter St Davids or Taunton (yes, I know thats in somerset, however Tiverton Parkway isn't exactly a good ending point) down to Plymouth, with the Riviera line to Paignton branching off from Newton Abbot and the Exmouth branch from Exeter St Davids, through Exeter Central. If it was based in an older time period, the most likely engine will probably be a new variant of the class 47, maybe a class 50, or a new variant of the class 52 westerns, however if it was set in new times we would probs need an updated class 150 in GWR livery, 165s (we already have 166s, from GWE) and potentially GWR 158s, however the main attraction would have to be GWR class 800s or 802s (I preferably want the 802s). Just my thoughts abnd speculations, because a Devon route has been mentioned multiple times.

The southwestern mainline has to come soon I think it will be great route to be added especially having cargo routes from Southampton to Eastleigh and even have a few branches added in aswell
Tbh I just wanna lms Fowler class 3F or any type of br tank engine in the game but I feel like the chances of that happening are pretty low.
All I want is like if you own all UK routes if it's like open world like start in penzance then with changing go to Nottingham or something feels limited when some routes overlap

Multiplayer wont happen this year Guard mode 100% co op where one is the guard and the other is the driver i think its a good entry point to Multiplayer but one thing that needs fixing more then any is the Passengers behaviour so sick of starting services and having a bunch of people come off the train just to leave them empty even if they come from a portal its just a pain and feels unreal passngers when starting a trip always are waiting on the platforms true so this is something that dovetail needs to work on as a key to make the exp feel more real also i think we need more underground routes i would love to see a route to Frankfurt with the loop S-Bahn tunnel added and a ICE4 we know WCML is coming with Class 350 & 390 but wish it was going to Rugby
Xbox audio needs to be a main priority as a lot of mostly older content can sound horrific and they haven’t tried fixing it since they did in tsw2. It happened again in tsw3 and hasn’t been touched since. Plus, the West Cornwall Local route needs a major update including an extension to Plymouth as Penzance to St Austell is quite boring, we need the Falmouth branchline in the route too as atm it is just a few yards of track eventually sinking into the ground, plus it would be cool for routes as well as this to have a different era selection
Extensions would require you to pay full price again. That didn't go well with lirr 2.0.
Having a different era selection would still require them to rebuild the route from scratch in that era so would still be resold lol

I am absolutely praying that this isn’t tsw5, having to pay and download everything again will probably take until tsw7. Plus some of the announcements add-ons like the peak forest expansion could only be available for tsw5 making it incompatible with tsw4.
New routes are bound to have a multitude of bugs. Not only do DTG have a history of pushing content out the door when it is unfinished, BUT following the fallout of the TSW5 lol leaks DTG's kneejerk reaction was to withdraw access to new routes from the Beta testing community 🙈
They will add another weather effect and will call it a new version.
the big announcement is that they will bring Train sim classic to consoles.

When train sim world 5 comes out I hope we get multiplayer and a better rush-hour that would be good And a line in Liverpool or the Eurostar train that would be great, but we’ve just got to wait and see
there is for sure nex tiers RRSLO,TTTN and another tier for TSW ATS so i speculate there will be 3 uk routes 2 german and 1 US route

Exactly how many NEW routes have they made for TS4. As in, DTG. This has got to be the least amount of new routes for an iteration yet. LIRR wasn't new. Fife Circle surely wasn't new. The San Bernardino route has been like 10 months in the making. The improvements from TSW4 were minimal, putting it lightly. The routes aren't longer. The graphics are still the same. The stuttering is still the same. They've been promising multiplayer since TSW2's release. They still haven't made a true editor available. Yet they still have the audacity to charge $40 for a new route. This company is literally a joke.
Fife circle was never made in tsw, what are you talking about
San bernardino was really only announced because lirr was in limbo and it was extremely early in development back then

LIRR being in limbo just makes me laugh seeing as it was absolute crap for two years before they added 7 miles of track and re-released it with barely any graphical improvements and horrible frame rates. The truth is, they've back-shelfed San Bernardino most likely to be the "American" route for TSW5. Because if they would have actually released it like they said, they'd need another American route for the inevitable TSW5.

In Dovetail's world, only 3 countries exist - the USA, the UK & Germany. Is it that hard to obtain licenses from JR or Indian Railways to give some diversity in the content? Even Western countries like Norway, Sweden aren't there
Nope, there are also Austria, France and Swiss.
And Canada & they have a route in Japan coming so they’re getting to others countries slowly but it’s hard due to third parties & licenses
@@markwilliams8492 then honestly they should stop releasing multiple editions of the same game. TSW 5 with same graphics and similar countries doesn't make sense. The next edition should be big enough to venture into a new world region else I don't see the point all the so called new features could just be released as DLC.

Bro i am gonna be brutally honest in my opinion they need to do something about the installment of dlcs because it takes soooo loooong and the sizes are very big and sometimes i have to install the ps4 and the ps5 version it is very frustrating bro i mean my tsw4 is like 195-200 gb that is a lot and the installement takes a very long time and it is painful i am gonna still stick with the franchise for some time but this makes me want to quit the franchise ( not right now )

I think we'll get 3 English routes, 1 Scottish route and 1 Welsh route not including the JT route.

It's obvious you aren't a game dev. It's not a copy paste. Completely different engines from completely different eras. Everything has to be remade from the ground up
I want to love tsw but they seem to be scammers trying to milk us suckers constantly for money by releasing a “new” version every year where most reputable developers just do patches for free to improve the game and upgrade it, rather than never fixing broken features or promised but never released features. Sorry not sorry. Not falling for this crap ever again. I’ll be not making ANY purchases from dovetail till they revamp their ways.

Are you crapping me? train sim world 5!? again...i just barely got tsw 4 and same crap happened with tsw 2 and 3, i got tsw 2 when spirit of steam came out with the discount, and then the game lost support, i did not spend my money on 3, i bought 4 to see whats new, a buggy mess most of the time, unstable badly optmized, dovetail is just another cashgrab company they re release the same game every year under a new title, and i do not feel ashamed to pirate their dlcs and games, as its just downright offensive to those who bought older games, i think that lets say i got tsw2 it should give me access to the new versions/updates, its just offensive to your playerbase

Those end up being the most popular after all. If your looking at long distance, the main issue is the length itself. There's many reasons why they haven't been created yet
