Why did I never consider this?! I bought new cranks just to have a 3pc set so I could just pull the crank arm instead.

I have these ti mushroom bolts on my rear wheel, no pegs. The wheel moves and locks up if I landed a little hard at an angle. Always had a 14mm threaded axle prior to this. Should I go even tighter? I'm thinking of buying a threaded axle again.

If it's a steel internal axle, you can crank it down a little harder but, as far as the slippage, if you weren't experiencing that with a 14mm axle, that might be your best best. Frame drop out widths can also vary which may contribute to slippage.

@Profile Racing I'm not too happy going any tighter, already pretty tight. Think I'll save up for an axle. Thanks for the reply, appreciate it.

Restoring my 1989 Haro Group 1C chrome BMX, bought the Haro SATA front and rear rims. Front fits 3/8" but rear wheel is 14mm, needing to convert to 3/8".
Would this conversion kit work for that rim? Thanks

For sure. The bearings are the same so the axle, cones, and bolts would be all you need: hence the conversion kit. Hope that helps?

Would thiss fit onto my shadow conspiracy rear hub because I need a 3/8 axle conversion kit because I have 3/8 dropouts and my shadow conspiracy rear wheel is 14mm

How about if you want to do the opposite change your 3/8 axle to 14mm axle ?

All you would need is a 14mm axle with 14mm nuts. Everything else would be the same.

Unfortunately, these conversions only work for Profile hubs. Sorry about that.
