Actually I think to keep damage going on the final boss at the top, you need to shoot the blighted eyes that spawn in next to the boss. I came up with a strat with my buddies where one person uses conditional finality on the boss, the second shot's ignition has a large enough AOE to destroy most of the eyes to keep damage going for a really long time. If no conditional ammo, hammer of sol works well too

Finally! 🎉 A detailed and easy to listen to video explaining a dungeon in Destiny 2. No loud, shouting UA-camr. No 30 minute ad filled video. Awesome, like and subscribe 👌🏻
To open the doors you have to go back to the dungeon after completing it once and grabing the bone at the end. You will have to start from the beginning and kill a screeb, it will drop "Dark Ether Tinctures" when you collect 5 it will start the next step where you can open the level 1 doors. It will also ask for "Blighted Wishing Glass" that can be gotten by beating any boss. Once you get all level 1 doors and collect the bones inside and 30 more tinctures you will move on to the next quest step. On this quest step you will need to get 3 more level 2 doors and collect the bones, one door is in the maze after 1st encounter on is just before the sewer to get to second and the last is just after second encounter. It will ask for 60 more dark ether tinctures and 3 more wishing glass's. I have not gotten to the next step yet but my guess is that you will need to get the level 3 doors, 2 of which are after the second encounter, one level three door is in the taken blight room and the second is just after. That is all I know.

** There’s two secret chests ** 1 is the one fallout mentioned in the room w/ a buncha mimic chests The 2nd one is in the maze section right after you get out of the prison cells. Don’t have a great way to directly explain but there’s a hole in the wall that leads you downstairs to a secret chest. There wasn’t any mechanics to it afaik so shouldn’t be too difficult to find if you explore thoroughly Dungeon was very cool but definitely easier than GotD, at least in a team setting. Solo flawless might be equally hellish with the traps and mechanics for final boss, looking forward to it already 😈
They definitely are randomized, on my first run, the chest the maze was fake, the one the cliffside right after the giant blight Orb room was real. On my following run 2 runs the maze chest was real and the cliffside chest was fake
OMG, you are the SHIT! The other guides were awful and yours helped me and a friend 2 man this dungeon! I appreciated your detailed comments especially in the beginning! You are the best.
another thing for final boss, when reaching the very top, destroy the eyes that spawn in periodically to keep dmg going for longer. Sunshot makes it easy as it can destroy multiple at once
Didn't see this mentioned: For the final boss, the mini-boss scorn do not summon both corrupted wells straight away. If you melt the mini-boss you will be left with 1 on per side which is what is left behind after you kill. Wait a couple seconds and he will spawn the first one you need! Hope this helps and saves some time since my run took over 3 hours with 1 being the final encounter. Good luck out there.
ty so much for this - my team and i sometimes had to wait quite a bit before the miniboss scorn would summon their first totem, and we thought we were doing something wrong. the totems being summoned also seem to trigger the wish starting. i wonder if there was something we were missing WRT starting the wish? idk.
Helpful note: Killing the scorn knights doesn’t drop 2, it drops 1. The scorn knight will eventually spawn one after a given period of time. My friend and I found this out because we downright nuked them when they spawned in, but only 1 totem was on the ground. We had to hold our trigger happy horses back and let them spawn one in, then killed the scorn knight in order to have 2 totems on the ground per scorn knight
That isn’t 100% to drop one first, you can sit there for a few minutes sometimes and he will just shoot at you and put up his insta kill debuff. I gave up on this dungeon because of that.
@@lucasmclaughlin5045 try damaging him. I’ve found that no, he really doesn’t put one down when he’s just strolling around at full health. You can also stun him out of his spawning animation. The melee and spawn animation look pretty similar too. In my solo flawless run I just weakened him with a solar melee, then tagged him witherhoard then just sat back. It damaged him enough to get him to spawn one, but slow enough where he didn’t get stun locked. Then once he spawned it I melted with a grenade and a follow up witherhoard shot on the floor. It worked 99% of the time and found it to be very consistent. Super aggravating and bad mechanic imo, but that strat was a work around. Hope this helps if you return to it, gl.
I ran it blind with my friends today in a 99 minute run. I find it to be a very fun dungeon and even more so once you get the hang of navigating it. I think we spent more time figuring out how to escape the jail than solving how to do first or second boss. Depending on the near future, this may be my new favourite dungeon. Sorry Duality.
A couple tips for final encounter if you’re getting overwhelmed: 1. The big guys are super chunky and you’ll need powerful major clear in addition to ad clear. I had the most success running well-lock with fusions, the solar weakening artifact mod, quicksilver for the grenades, and forbearance. 2. If you run void hunter, you can smoke dive to transfer the hex to the scorn and also go invisible so they don’t hit you back. 3. If you need more heavy, leave one of the eyes around the boss alive until you’re ready to go. I really struggled to get ammo for Briar’s and went 12 heavy bricks in a row only getting 1 ammo (was running heavy scout and solar scavenger)
Blind dungeons are my favorite thing in this game, its like a raid but I don’t have to organize a bunch of randos and you’re pretty much guaranteed a completion
Another note, one of those random screeb chests will be a real secret chest throughout the dungeon. The real secret chest is random from run to run, though.
Step 1, find some friends. I’ve been wanting to experience dungeons/raids but none of my friends play Destiny, I only just completed Grasp this weekend but had to do it solo, I have a constant feeling of not wanting to drag the team down and don’t want to be carried so I don’t use LFG. Only raid I’ve done was Kingfall back in D1 and I feel like I’ve hit the limit to what I can do as far as content without doing dungeons. At least I have Gally now 😅
Did the same mistake with the ahamkara bones. Welp i ran it twice. Tomorrow again this is my favorite dungeon now. It looks amazing and the mechanics are smooth.
Fallout always delivers. Khakis is cool and all but he always trails off topic. Returning player who has no friends who play anymore but I'm about to just solo this. Only here for the bow and finally something that might make me put away hierarchy of needs.
side note to the final boss battle. the immune scorn can only have on corruption on it, so if you and a friend are running it hit one that's not black other wise you will die. and they can give it back by hitting you again and the corruption doesn't go away if you die mid battle you have to hit one to get rid of it. i got revived and wiped again immediately after.
Kackis dungeon for dummies guides are great and I use them but this is more in line of what im looking for. Short and sweet and to the point while just giving you the essential info you need to get through it. Good stuff Fallout.
For the jail cell puzzle, the solution is actually the hand of the skeleton. One of them has their right hand on a tally, thats the number of motors you need turning to the right(clockwise). The other skeleton is vice versa, with left hand and counterclockwise motors.
I must admit, we got lucky with our prison break since, I simply thought it was one left, one right one left, since i was on the isolated cell(when in solo you can roam between cells) and ig we had the perfect balance since we got out with that method :D
I ❤seeing Guardians fall to their death leaping for whatever dropped from the last boss. I did that myself on the 1st time thinking we needed to get it
Me and my friends finally cleared it with one of us being underlight after 5 hours. Probably one of the hardest but most accessible dungeons I've done in a while. (I also did half of it solo, can't wait to try it full solo at some point.)
Highkey- the hard part comes from survivability / the underlight part. Once on light, it's simplish- just don't wipe. Source: I was only about 10 under light- so i was dying a lot, but i learned to be more cautious. We tried not to wipe and thus, it didn't take too long.
On the top floor of the final boss, the big islands are like plates. Stick together, and do damage, while popping the eyeballs. The boss will continually spawn eyeballs, and when they all spawn in, dps is over. Hop together to the next island over, until all 3 islands are done. You'll be warped back to the bottom to rinse and repeat.
To add to this, the plates are like Planets in Ron. If you go right and your fireteam goes left, you'll burn 2 plates at once. At least that's what we experienced.
Me and a buddy got to the last encounter but didn't realize that the debuff transferred back if the scorn dude hits you again lol then we got hungry and decided we'd finish the last boss with a 3rd later
Thanks, Fallout! I watched your guide while at work and was able to go home and teach someone the mechanics. I mentioned your channel. Hopefully they sub. 😉
I was doing this shit while playing and just died in the first trap chest, just to hear immediately in the video that it was a trap... I was like thx for the info :v
You need to run the dungeon several times during these runs you will find glowing yellow bar screens that drop motes kill said screen and collect the motes during this look for doors via the puzzle in you quest. Repeat until complete it takes a while and a lot of runs. There’s 3 levels of doors you acces the heigher tier doors by completing previous steps

5:13 Correction - The miniboss spawns 1 and drops 1 on death, leave him alive until he spawns one so you can get multiple when you kill him.
another thing
for the final phase, the immune scorn are immune to all damage, but aren't immune to blinding
loved this I completed the dungeon and got the exotic the first try
Bungie has honestly been doing great with the dungeons recently
I havent played in awhile. Thanks for making these videos, though. I really appreciate it
Did the same mistake with the ahamkara bones. Welp i ran it twice. Tomorrow again this is my favorite dungeon now. It looks amazing and the mechanics are smooth.
I died inside the maze and the game teleported me to the second checkpoint so i glitched the whole dungeon
Same
Simple and easy to understand guide, thanks
Dude this video is better than Rick kakis explaining it 😂thanks 😊
Fallout always delivers. Khakis is cool and all but he always trails off topic. Returning player who has no friends who play anymore but I'm about to just solo this. Only here for the bow and finally something that might make me put away hierarchy of needs.
The preview looks like the Painted World of Ariamis from Ds1 ❤
side note to the final boss battle. the immune scorn can only have on corruption on it, so if you and a friend are running it hit one that's not black other wise you will die. and they can give it back by hitting you again and the corruption doesn't go away if you die mid battle you have to hit one to get rid of it. i got revived and wiped again immediately after.
This dungeon "prank em john" moment lmao 💀
Kackis dungeon for dummies guides are great and I use them but this is more in line of what im looking for. Short and sweet and to the point while just giving you the essential info you need to get through it. Good stuff Fallout.
Thank you @fallout plays. Solid guide, as always.
For the jail cell puzzle, the solution is actually the hand of the skeleton. One of them has their right hand on a tally, thats the number of motors you need turning to the right(clockwise). The other skeleton is vice versa, with left hand and counterclockwise motors.
This guide is really good - thank you!
I appreciate this guide, especially reminding me to punk my fire team ✌️
I must admit, we got lucky with our prison break since, I simply thought it was one left, one right one left, since i was on the isolated cell(when in solo you can roam between cells) and ig we had the perfect balance since we got out with that method :D
Quick and precise guide! Amazing job!! And THANKS!! 😎 GUY
Fallout that Guide God - super dope sir thanks will use that for solo run help
Gotchu my guy. Mad love
Me and my friend did this blind, and it took us until the final boss to figure out that you don’t have to shoot those totem things 😅
Thanks, Fallout! Stay I ng with you through Final Shape
I ❤seeing Guardians fall to their death leaping for whatever dropped from the last boss. I did that myself on the 1st time thinking we needed to get it
love this guide, easy and straight to the point! Thanks!
I cant wait to run this. Ill probably get to it this weekend
He's not talking about the second encounter. Fallout already mentioned the "don't step on 2 plates at once thing"@@brandonb.9037
I am pretty sure that shooting the eyes on the extra damage phase extends its duration. For killing the eyes I would use sunshot
Note, the Scorn knights dont drop 2 guaranteed, they can summon a second one. If you need more than 2, wait a tiny bit
noob here, what happens if you attempt to pick up armor or gun drops, but you're currently full on that slot? Does it go to lost and found?
It goes to your postmaster
Me and a buddy got to the last encounter but didn't realize that the debuff transferred back if the scorn dude hits you again lol then we got hungry and decided we'd finish the last boss with a 3rd later
Imma try to solo flawless this already, so far I know what to do for the first two bosses but the last one is gonna be rough haha
Done it blind. Brilliant dungeon
Thanks, Fallout! I watched your guide while at work and was able to go home and teach someone the mechanics. I mentioned your channel. Hopefully they sub. 😉
You're awesome. That was a great guide. Do more.👍👍
Looking forward to trying it!
Who needs a new dungeon when BLIND WELL IS BACK BABY
I was doing this shit while playing and just died in the first trap chest, just to hear immediately in the video that it was a trap... I was like thx for the info :v
Thank you for everything
Wasn’t that chest glowing green at 0:39?? Or am I just color blind?
Love the dungeon guides, so much help when I can link it to discord friends when I'm grabbing them for stuff
A funny detail, you can actually still jump if you opened the trap chests, maybe you are able to survive
Nice job thanks!
Great Guide!
Great guide.
Pshhhhhhhhtttt I couldn't figure out the jail section solo and I appreciate the guide.
Guide already? I'm here for it.
Thanks fallout
You the man Fallout
THANK YOU ❤️
Don’t forget in the final boss damage phase if you shoot the acolyte’s eyes you can extend the damage phase
I used the arc staff throwing super thing. The jolt is constantly zapping every eye so you can focus on damage. Then I threw a jolt pulse nade to keep it going. We ended with a 2 phase.
