You do my favorite Bethesda content on UA-cam! So calm and likeable, and funny without trying too hard to be funny. I think the recipe spells to always be focused on the game and its quirks in the commentary. However, one thing I have found is missing in most of these videos is a rundown of the perks you are using and why. Doesn't have to be every level up chronologically, but maybe at three points in the run or so. Most other aspects of the character's progress are covered, but the perks are often somewhat of a question mark.
In Black Ops: Cold War zombies the Pack-a-Punched Nail Gun gets a 90 round mag (up from 15). This felt somewhat arbitrary to me but it might be a subtle nod.
I think a neat idea for a Fallout 3 playthrough would be a playthrough where the only things you could use is equipment you'd find in the metro tunnel system. Whether it'd be from containers or corpses or dead enemies, it must come from the sewers and tunnels. Caps for repairs is fine if it's absolutely necessary.

You can use them to trade in chips to gamble at the casinos and wherever you win you can trade in for the NCR or Legion money, no caps however. Hopefully this doesn't seem too confusing lol
Another one of the challenge runners I subscribed to just released an Elden Ring video that I unfortunately can't watch since I haven't beaten the game yet. Minutes later this here drops and I'm really gracefull Nerbit saved my evening
I was first recommended the abe Lincoln fallout 4 video a couple hours after its release, that was the first interaction with this channel I had. As of now I have been going down the Nerbit "rabbit hole" and been watching every single video I can see. I do not regret it. And as a matter of fact, I think I have found another channel In which I will suffer severe withdrawal symptoms if I do not watch a new upload, or visit old videos. If you'll excuse me I'll be watching the remainder of this video and then several other videos because I have become cripplingly addicted.
Easy challenge idea: can you beat fallout new vegas as John Wayne/Clint Eastwood. Can only use the .357 magnum, Cowboy repeaters, lever action shotgun, (other western guns can be used if nerbit wants) light ranger outfits and dynamite. Have to hunt outlaws (bounty quests and taking out the powder gangers) and natives (great khans) Have to side with the NCR. Have to make at least one “ranger with a big iron on his hip” joke
NGL, the fact that some of the most useful stuff in The Divide is available in literally the starting zone without even killing anything, from level 1, along with a vendor that never runs outta caps and can repair to 100 and a lil dude that makes free energy weapon ammo, is borderline game-breaking. It wouldn't matter so much if it was like every other DLC where you actually have to FINISH IT before you can leave, but nope, you just wake up the robot, grab the loot, sell all your crap to the vending machine, and walk out with late-game gear before you've even learned what a cazador is yet.
Do an Oblivion run with keeping your "Adoring fan" alive throught the entire main story plot! Found out that he does in fact follow you into the gates of Oblivion.
It’s so annoying how much UA-cam is cutting down on fallout content. Literally every kid is playing gta anyway so why keep ruining our fun with these stupid age restrictions?
I have enjoyed both challenge videos. The lincoln video and this one. I honestly thought this was gonna be a pretty mundane run, but it was pretty fun to watch.
3rd video of me asking "can you beat fallout 4 as gragnak the barbarian?" It'd be a glass cannon type of run, just with less cannon to it since gragnak axe isn't upgradable IIRC. And the cloth armor wouldn't offer too much in regards to protection without the fiber upgrade if that works.
I love the concept of the lone survivor being a huge Grognak the Barbarian fan pre-war then he becomes Grognak after the Great division washed away his mundane life.
Surprised you didn't grab Raul. I know you don't usually do companions on weapon restricted runs, but oh boy his companion perk woulda helped with those repair issues early on.
I gotta hand it to you, ya really nailed this one. One challenge I really enjoyed doing personally was the Merc Grunt challenge. Merc grunt outfit, only weapons covered by the Grunt perk, and always choosing quest and dialogue options to try to make more money.
I love the nail gun. How’s about Can You Beat Fallout 4 with Only Pickman’s Blade? The bleed can be helpful but seeing how you get it quickly might be fun.
Dude, craziest idea I have, Can you beat Skyrim... As a Pokemon /trainer? It's rather simple, Dragon Priests masks work as Gym Medals, every "medal" allows you to spend 4 more perk points, Alduin's the Champion, since you get your last medal from the dragon priest before sovngarde, at last, your defenses define your tipe, if you're resistant to frost, you're ice tipe, meaning you must use frost magic to attack, if you're wearing Ebony armor (if you get it) you're dark tipe. Do you think it's feaseble?
I'd love to see just normal game play videos from nerbit just like a normal game play video watching the type of stuff nerbit will think of while just playing the game normally no challenges or anything
i think its absolutely awesome that you have built such a passionate community around the fallout challenge runs man, this community is honestly the best,
Personally, I would’ve allowed for any “tool” such as hammers and stuff. This was pretty insane though… that little nail gun is a beast! I can’t even imagine how powerful it could be if you built a character around it and used stealth. Whew… i should try that! Haha
The nail gun is my favorite stealth weapon in New Vegas. Its "silent" modifier coupled with its limb crippling and insane fire rate are perfect for wetworks style encounters even without perks like The Professional. With those, it's even more phenomenal.
A potential challenge that might be fun, I call it the Golden Boy run. Fallout 4, no perks, only points in SPECIAL until all of them are maxed. Might be fun to figure out ways to squeeze out some extra damage without perks. If you feel like putting a cherry on top of it all, save the bobbleheads and get 11 in every stat. I actually have a character doing this "build" on my own and it's a bit of fun.

I mean calling the H&H nail gun just a tool is like calling a Ferrari just a car
I've never ever heard of this
Weapon in Fallout NV
Sounds hella interesting and thx for my next Run idea
You could say, you "nailed" it.
So cool. I might do a run as a construction worker with tools like nail gun, sledge , shovel ect. Even a nail board would qualify
Nothing like cosplaying as Robert the constructor
Youre ability to pull subtle references off random gameplay happen stance is awesome man, love it everytime i catch em
Fnv gun only run but your ammo has to increase in numerical value after every kill such as 9mm to 10mm to 12 gauge to 12.7 mm
Can you beat Fallout 4 as Riddick.
Get the knives from the raiders in Nuka world. Lots of melee, be a king slayer and beast lover.
Can you beat Fallout 76 with your sanity intact?
I was first recommended the abe Lincoln fallout 4 video a couple hours after its release, that was the first interaction with this channel I had. As of now I have been going down the Nerbit "rabbit hole" and been watching every single video I can see. I do not regret it. And as a matter of fact, I think I have found another channel In which I will suffer severe withdrawal symptoms if I do not watch a new upload, or visit old videos.
If you'll excuse me I'll be watching the remainder of this video and then several other videos because I have become cripplingly addicted.
You Nailed This Video!
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Easy challenge idea: can you beat fallout new vegas as John Wayne/Clint Eastwood.
Can only use the .357 magnum, Cowboy repeaters, lever action shotgun, (other western guns can be used if nerbit wants) light ranger outfits and dynamite. Have to hunt outlaws (bounty quests and taking out the powder gangers) and natives (great khans)
Have to side with the NCR.
3rd video of me asking "can you beat fallout 4 as gragnak the barbarian?"
It'd be a glass cannon type of run, just with less cannon to it since gragnak axe isn't upgradable IIRC. And the cloth armor wouldn't offer too much in regards to protection without the fiber upgrade if that works.
I love the concept of the lone survivor being a huge Grognak the Barbarian fan pre-war then he becomes Grognak after the Great division washed away his mundane life.
Fallout 4 now has a nail gun, that could be a cool continuation of this
Surprised you didn't grab Raul.
Can we fix it!!?
No we cant
Yes we CAN >:I
Assuming it doesn't crash every 5 seconds, yes we can.
@@matthewsimon6170 congratulations you made me wheeze laughing
With the Fallout 4 update adding in new weapons you could repeat this in the Commonwealth!
You nailed this challenge.
I love the nail gun. How’s about Can You Beat Fallout 4 with Only Pickman’s Blade? The bleed can be helpful but seeing how you get it quickly might be fun.
What a nail-biting video! Keep up the great work nerbit!
This brings back memories. I did The divide with a stealth nail gun build years ago, absolutely uphill fun.
I'd love to see just normal game play videos from nerbit just like a normal game play video watching the type of stuff nerbit will think of while just playing the game normally no challenges or anything
Theres an air of irony to House being murked by a tool of his own creation.
i think its absolutely awesome that you have built such a passionate community around the fallout challenge runs man, this community is honestly the best,
Just want to say I love your channel since I can't play any fallout rn and they are super entertaining I hope your channel grows
Personally, I would’ve allowed for any “tool” such as hammers and stuff. This was pretty insane though… that little nail gun is a beast!
I can’t even imagine how powerful it could be if you built a character around it and used stealth. Whew… i should try that! Haha
Could have sworn the nail gun spawns in the h&h factory as well
4:27 The guy must've been raiding every Home Depot, Lowes, Harbor Freight, and Menards seeing as how he collects so many nails.
I have truly fallen I. Love with your videos. Thank you friend. Your ridiculous play through ideas give my own new life and joy.
I recommended this on the binocular video 5 months ago - super stoked to see it in action. Nail gun gets work done!
The nail gun is my favorite stealth weapon in New Vegas. Its "silent" modifier coupled with its limb crippling and insane fire rate are perfect for wetworks style encounters even without perks like The Professional. With those, it's even more phenomenal.
This video made me unreasonably happy cause I was considering doing the same exact run myself for the fun of it lol now I know its gonna be a good one
I don't think Benny was able to think clearly with 10+ nails embedded in his spine. XD
House's brother will be happy his nail gun killed his brother. He always did hate House for being the more popular one even though he got kicked out from h and h tools.
The thumbnail ... pure humor. Thanks for making my day with just an image. Can't wait to actually see the content.
Glad you had a more relaxing time with this challenge video. I wouldn’t have blamed you had you waited a bit longer after the legendary lincoln vid
Man I live for this man’s videos since the first time I saw a can you beat fallout as a
