- How to transition from one material to the next in Cinema 4D and Redshift to look like it was painted onto the surface.
This tutorial was requested by Amit (one of our awesome Members) who wanted to recreate the painted ball effect from the Google Password Manager spot by Oddfellows studio, see more of their work here: oddfellows.tv/

Very simple and useful technique, love it!
Cheers, it's a simple hack that does the job;)
thank you somuch !
No worries Kevin, hope you found it useful!
Great tutorial! I was wondering if such effect should be achievable even with other render engines such Corona (which I'm currently using).
I've never used Corona but Id say you can, looks like it can use vertex maps: forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?topic=20672.0
Very cool, but I do not have a redshift mixer. Is it possible to explain the basic rendering of the Cinema 4d
Cinema 4D actually comes with Redshift you just have to activate it in render settings, not much point using the old standard renderer anymore.
@@CGShortcuts I do not have an official subscription and I cannot pay a subscription for the program. I download a free copy
Hey guys. I got a problem in cinema 4d. My finals renders are always blurry. And I can’t find out why. If you have ever had similar problem?
Output resolution too low? Are you using bokeh effects in Redshift? Could be lots of things
Totally fake. The jets at the bottom are covered and only the top of the ball would get painted. 0/10
nerd:)
True, but you could probably get away with it for a quick shot.
thank you somuch !
