It would be good to start out watching footage of a real slinky, seeing that the tail end overshoots the body, becoming the new head on the next step down.

Someone who has tried and failed a few times to correctly "simulate" a slinky.
Was definitely a bit trickier than I thought it'd be
Gonna be honest - a real slinky doesnt quite behave like that down a set of stairs.
Have you seen a real slinky go down an infinite flight of stairs before?
Would have been cool to see it behave like a real slinky going down an infinite amount of stairs though 👀 still really helpful stuff though
@@CGShortcuts ua-cam.com/video/NmTOYnlK3fo/v-deo.html thats how a real one looks like.
you know what? the lesson here is not about the real slinky, are you not happy that someone shared this technique? there are so many lessons you can get from this tutorial, don't just bashed, why not do your own tutorial instead! The creator is not asking your opinion if the slinky behaving the way it used to be.
Isn't it easier to use offset repeat keyframes instead of cloner?
Try it and see, this method worked well for what I needed
Неплохо неплохо)
