Xiaomi is usually one of the first brands to introduce the latest flagship silicon technologies, and we expect the Xiaomi 15 series to continue this trend in late 2024. So what will we get with these Android phones? A new leak from China has revealed obvious details.
Digital Chat Station claims on Weibo that Xiaomi's upcoming flagship series (presumably the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro) is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and will enter the next phase of testing as early as this month.
Finally, Digital Chat Station seems to suggest that it is unclear whether Xiaomi will use the new periscope camera and ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. We assume that the new periscope lens and/or improved fingerprint scanner will be applied to the Pro model.
As for the launch timing, an insider previously claimed that the Xiaomi 15 series will enter mass production in September, suggesting a launch in China in Q4 2024. But Xiaomi usually launches its main flagship phones worldwide at MWC in late February, so we'll still have to wait a while for a wider release.
