His explanation about the North South divide was great. The 'over' representation of the South was news to me. In this case the fears of the South politicians is understandable. I think the delimitation should be made on a balance between the financial _and_ political aspects.
Ms Dutt is one of our finest Journalist, her research , knowledge & style of interview is excellent. Its just her ideological lean that would cause discomfort to viewers who have political preferences. Its her responsibility to change the perception, if she chooses to pursue popularity in the mainstream media.

My question to subbarao y he was silent when spectrum was allocated under MMS govt to builder, vegetable dealers.
He's already clarified that he was finance secretary then and he _did_ have disagreements which he expressed, albeit in a closed door meeting. Such meetings are always classified and the final decision is _always_ the minister's. _And,_ even if he had gone public with his view, that wouldn't have made any difference to the decision, in addition to which he would have been out of a job!!

when you had first cellular network, the outgoing call was close to 50 INR per minute within the circle. Now, it is absolutely free across India. So, you got to understand, the more the technical advancement, the lesser the cost it becomes to manage. Rather than criticizing do your homework first!
