However, there is also a lot more to explore here on the islands (you need a car) and if you love historical culture check out the Guanches who were the original people of the islands. Learning Spanish is a must if you want to integrate well. Being a kiwi I have felt a strong bond with the Canarian People.
What would be the main reason for you not to settle here for long term ? is it only because you want to keep travelling ? if it was not for that reason, what else could be ?
