Dude, knowing how you felt originally by the first film, this makes me so happy to hear how you feel about T2! I am so thrilled that you loved it! I've been waiting to hear your thoughts!
I will admit I was a bit nervous going in given my initial reaction to the first movie. But quickly those hesitations vanished as soon as the story kicked in. You guys really nailed not only Art, But Sienna and Jonathan shined so bright in this. I loved it all around. Outstanding work David!
@@morotaka79 RESPECT to literally everyone involved with terrifier and terrifier 2. thank you for bringing a new age of horror masterpiece into my life (also big props to all hallows eve obviously)
This movie not only established Art was one of the most exciting new horror villains and also established Sienna as one of the best final girls horror has ever scene. Love em both.
Art the clown really reignited my passion for horror. He does some wild shit but he has such a pull to him that makes you want to know more. It's hard to hate the guy when he's having the time of his life just doing what he does, you kinda just wanna scold him like an irate grandmother I can't describe how excited I am to see this in theaters on Thursday and see how they build on from the first film 🤑
Saw this last night and I don't know if I'm just becoming to squeamish in my older age but this thing was so brutal I had a light panic attack and thought I'd have to leave the theatre and go home fortunately it subsided and I was ok.But the brother and sister characters were really well done and got me through the film.Gonna see Halloween ends next weekend which is gonna be like watching a Disney film compared to this
Art is definitely the scariest horror movie villain. He is absolutely merciless and the kills in this movie can legitimately turn the stomach a little bit or give you the creeps at night.
I saw this movie last night, and I really enjoyed it! Art the Clown was brutal, yet funny at the same time. The kills were very gory, and the story was definitely an improvement compared to the first. Terrifier 2 is definitely one of those sequels that is bigger and better then the previous one. I can definitely see Art being the next huge horror icon! My only problem with this movie was the lack of explaining certain things. Alot of questions were left unanswered, but for me that's my only flaw. Still a 4 out of 5 movie for me!
I just listened without watching. Don't want anything spoiled. I'm trying not to get too excited because I love the 1st one so much, but I'm pretty fkn excited! Glad you liked it dude 🔪
My only criticism is Leone should have worked with an Editor. It was just a little run-on for me. But, is Art a Tulpa? I think Art might be a Tulpa! If so, David Lynch would be proud. Maybe in part 3 we'll get a more illuminating explaination? Like, who the hell and why and how? 🤷 I loved the little Clown Girl, she was so wicked!🤘 The kid who plays Johnathan has his own UA-cam called Little Punk People, and I was subscribed to him for maybe a year and a half, he interviewed James Hetfield, Tom Araya, Tobias Forge, and Damien Leone! The line his sister uses, "What did you grow a whole foot since breakfast?" I think was added much later, cause he was little, and then the pandemic came and he had to stop interviewing people and it got weird to be subscribed to an awkwardly growing kid without the Metal interview content so I unsubbed, but it's still there!
I saw it last night Lee, it was great, seeing it in a movie theater was a blessing, script made sense, the dialogue was on point, and Art definitely is the new horror icon.
This movie was brilliant. Although some of the kills were VERY graphic, I loved it. Only reason I would give it 9 out of 10 is because of some of the longer scenes. This clown puts Pennywise to shame in every aspect. The time duration does not feel like 2 and a half hours at all. The acting is a lot better, and I am glad it had other protagonists rather than just Art. Props to Damien Leone, I loved it. I hope people watch it and I look forward to seeing what Damien Leone does! I rate this movie at the best slasher film of 2022, I do not have a weak stomach at all, and I enjoyed every minute of it!
No cons? Awesome!! Can't wait to see it, I did enjoy what the first movie brought to the genre. Hey did you know that Argento has made a new movie? His return to the slashers he was famous for? It's called Dark glasses, looks pretty cool☺️
i cant wait to see this ive been stalking this movie since i saw the first one and just hope it gets a theater release in aus i think art is definitely gonna be one of the new icons

"A horror fan's horror movie," was a great depiction. I loved the first film and AHE, and frankly I did not think Leone could up the ante any more than had already been done. I was wrong, dead (no pun intended) wrong. This film is most definitely not for the faint of heart or, in my opinion, even the casual horror fan. It will stick with you and you'll probably have a hard time sleeping the first night after seeing it because of it playing through your head. And yes, I realize that's a lofty statement and opens up the forum to call me a va-jay-jay, however, I feel vindicated in the fact that everyone I have personally talked to has echoed the same sentiment. This IS brutality at it's bloody best and catapults Art into the upper echelons of timeless on-screen killers. If you can stomach the gore, this is a must watch. The story and acting are absolutely superb and being that it's over two hours in length you more than get your money's worth. If you've seen it, you know everything I've said is true. If you are planning on seeing but haven't yet, I truly hope you enjoy.
I just finished watching terrifier 1 and 2 for the first time and good Lord I feel like I just experienced and endured a journey into and through absolute Madness and I'm not sure if I ever made it back🤣🤣☠️.. Pennywise who? Art the clown makes Pennywise look like a straight Punk🤣🤡.. and dude this second movie was something else that moment with the mother went into her daughter's bedroom to see what happened and then she tried to say "Mom" WOW... I loves these.. but who in the hell was that creepy little girl with art?,in the beginning it made it seem like it was just in his mind but then everyone else could start to see her?
Actually, Art was very supernatural in All Hallow's Eve.... wasn't so much in the first "official" movie but leone already kind of went there with Art before. I was one of these people giving you a hard time for your first review, sorry about that ;-) But glad you came around liking the character.
I didn't like the first Terrifier at all but I'm excited for this one. Luckily I live in Southern California so all the theatres near me have showings this weekend
I just watched it tonight in theatres. I love it, the filming, the score, the writing was pretty in imo… I didn’t know it was 2 hours long, but it really helped build the relationship between the main characters. Very much Rachel and Jamie vibes here.
David thorton, I never heard of Terrifier till tele, if a third one he cud join a circus kill watchers in it ring master is threatened not a brutal 3rd part. Brutal is what put them off it shud b banned. I always wanted to have my screenplays made since a kid nobody won't buy them from Me it like I'm too sick u need to be there I'm not that sick. Finally saw it. Wayyyy better than the first in every way (the first was average at best). Multiple great scenes. Actually has a story line that works (other than the first. No story. Just clown killing randomly). Only negative I see is some scenes run too long. Lop off 10-15 minutes and it might be the best slasher flick of all time.
I like what you said about Art's character making the absolutely disgusting and brutal gore accessible. It's true, it's somehow easier and more fun to watch him kill simply because of how funny and emotive he is.
This was probably my favorite movie this year! I love the dark humor in this and people (including me) were audibly laughing at some points in the movie because of how genuinely funny some of Art's miming was! It's like a twisted horror comedy as it was very entertaining to watch despite its graphic kills (which honestly weren't too bad to see - I wasn't sure how I would go because I haven't really seen a lot of gore, but with the dark humor in it I was fine! But I can definitely understand why some people think it's intense! The scenes are definitely not sugar coated) I thought the actor who played Art the Clown did an amazing job and Art really deserves to be up there with Michael, Jason and Freddy! I think this was just my kind of movie - it kind of gives the vibes of the don't hug me I'm scared videos where some people find it really disturbing where others find it intriguing to watch while also being able to laugh and enjoy it! (Probably more laughing at the absurdity of DHMIS than jokes - although I haven't seen these videos for years) Something about a miming clown that kills people so sadistically yet humorously (in the ways of comedic timing and his expressions) is so entertaining to watch! 10/10 from me for this movie but I also know it's not for everyone :)
In terms of just attractiveness and beauty, my top 5 final girls are as follows: 1. Sienna, Terrifier 2 2. Sidney, Scream 3. Nancy, A Nightmare On Elm Street 4. Maxine, X 5. Thomasin, The Witch
I'm so hyped for this movie. It worried me a bit about it being over 2 hours, but going from your review & how much you enjoyed it, I'm sure I'm going to end up loving it just as much. Thanks for doing a review for it & keeping it spoiler free!
@@DrumdumsOfficial I always say it's a good sign that a movie did a great job if it doesn't even feel like a 2+ hour movie. I'll definitely let you know what I think when I get to see it!
One year late, but by far my favorite movie and who else loves the soundtrack? I am now listening to Synthawave all the time. Damien Leone is pure genius! ✨
Terrifier 2 is a great horror film. I didn't see the first Terrifier well because I never knew it existed until I heard the hype of Terrifier 2. So I watched it out of order. I watched Terrifier 2 in theaters and after work decided to watch Terrifier 1. Terrifier 1 is great as well but Terrifier 2 in my opinion is better. I hope they make a Terrifier 3, which I'm 100% sure they will do it.
🎃 Terrifer series has become my new Halloween season go to film. Art The Clown is scarily sadistic and a joy to watch. Sierra was a flipping fantastic and bad ass final girl. She’s definitely one of my new favorite final girls. I hope she’s in future terrifer films. The actress has a great future ahead of her. Terrifier 2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Terrifier is one of my favorites slasher movies of all time, no doubt, you know no A Nightmare, no Texas Chainsaw, no Child's play, Terrifier is a master piece. Damien has a great talent.
I loved this movie, not sure about rewatch ability cuz of how long and intense it is. I do love the extended endings and I agree, Desert Island movie for sure, stranded on an island I would want a 2.5hr thrill ride like this
I might just watch this just because someone dares to do something sorta original with a horror character. Do we need a new Halloween Ends movie? No! Do we need a Terrorizer 2? Yes! Get my point?
There are theories saying Art is Sienna's father. The movie mentioned that Sienna's dad went crazy before he died and Art was able to see the ghost girl while others can't. Wanna know who else could see the ghost girl? Sienna and her brother. Also the fact Art gave Sienna's mother a quick and painless death was pretty shocking. Most of the time he would torture his victims before killing them.
Ahh I can't wait till Thursday my birthday is on the 6th and this is coming out on the 6th man I'm so excited. This movie is a Perfect birthday gift on how much I loved the first one. I own every single media that the first one was released on DVD, Blu-ray, VHS, digital and hope 4k soon.
Massive Terrifier fan! Terrifier 2 has cemented itself as my new favorite horror film of all time which hasn’t EVER changed since the OG A Nightmare on Elm Street. My three words to describe this movie would be Visceral, Uncompromising & Nightmarish. Best horror movie that I’ve seen in theaters! ✌️
Man what a great time of year to be a horror fan so many awesome movies this year getting best reviews ever so it seems thanks for your review and opinions can't wait to buy it and watch this movie on day 1 have a wonderful day and thumbs up!
@@DrumdumsOfficial Yeah, there's been Orphan: First Kill, Pearl, Barbarian, Smile & Mad God, and I'm sure I forgot a few others. Only seen two on the list. But Terrifier 2 looks to be the best of all. Any others you'd recommend? To be honest, Barbarian was a bit of a disappointment: great buildup but the monster was like any cliched horror device. I also saw Resurrection which barely qualifies as Horror and was a waste of good actors.
I just saw this film at Disney World AKA Disney Springs (intentionally because of the irony 😂) and it is 80’s slasher magic. Brutal movie and I dont recomend it to everyone but if you are a saw fan or 80’s slasher fan, then this is your movie. Our theater was full and laughing at ART even though the scenes were over the top. You felt bad for the characters too which was such a wierd combo. The 80’s synth music also got me into the movie pretty quick. This is a movie for the horror fans and youll be sorry you missed it in theater.
Couldn't agree more with this review. I see a lot of other critics complain about the length, but I thought it was great to see a more ambitious slasher.
Just saw it. I liked the character development much more than the first one. I’d call this movie Splatstick almost because it’s so graphic and Arts mannerisms during the kills. Definitely will not be eating at the clown cafe 😂
OMG I just finally watched terrifier 2 !! I watched the 1st when 2 came out for the first time !! So finally i was able to watch 2nd movie now and holy crap !!!! It was crazy. With 40 minutes I already considered it a huge improvement over the 1st movie !! I found the 1st movie nice/ok like 7,5/10 but this one was another level !!!! BTW I REFUSE SIMPLY REFUSE TO BELIEVE THIS COST ONLY $250.000 😂😂😂 this looks so expensive, so good even more professional than the first, definitely the 1st looks very cheap but this looks very expensive but it’s still cheap and it’s unbelievable what the guys achieved here with this budget!! The photography, the makeup, the locations this movie looks just perfect, really liked the performances and music, the kills..... what to say about them ??? SIMPLY CRAZY AND OVER THE TOP AND BRUTAL. I think this movie in some parts goes too far definitely even for me, even for art the clown himself 😂 but nothing that bothered my experience and even by the way that scene of torturing the girl, taking off her arm (so easily) was too over the top like HOW THE FUCK THIS GIRL IS STILL ALIVE ??????😂 kinda crazy !! Definitely the brutality in this movie isn’t for everybody but it works maybe I’ve seen worse !! This is one of the best slasher movies I’ve seen i guess, i liked the story but now definitely it goes too mythical which isn’t a problem but i think i needed more explanation lol it’s very confusing especially the ending and post credit scene I think with more explanations/ theories i enjoy it even more !! I actually wanna see a 3rd movie because art the clown is absolutely immoral !!! About the runtime i think the rhythm of the movie is great despite more than 2 hours !! Actually when it ended i was like already??? Lol There are some rumors of people vomiting and passing out watching this, i think maybe it’s just marketing, but btw i think you should do a live stream about this movie Lee !!! About spoilers, theories, discussion and these rumors you know?? I think it’d be cool !! Definitely I would watch a stream of yours talking about this, maybe next sunday ?? Especially after couple of weeks that many people have already watched the movie, i think a stream of terrifier 2 spoilers etc would be amazing! My rating for terrifier 2 is 9,5/10 !!
Terrifier Two is hell of a great time, I'm not going to pick this up on physical media but you'll probably picked it up on Walmart Steelbook when it's released
I was extremely entertained. Solid 8/10 movie, for me. Art is fantastic and the… let’s just call them “new elements” worked, in my opinion. Definitely not a movie that is for everyone, though.
Ok so I ended up liking this franchise in the end, but man I was turned off early on, really quickly.. with a certain little scene 🪚 . . . But I dunno Art the Clown is just a really good horror character and can be up there with the greats... but it's not a bad thing to kinda tone down "some" of the gore. Imo
Could've been a little bit shorter, but otherwise I freakin' loved this movie. I have to agree with you on Lauren Lavera as Sienna being the best final girl in recent years. She goes toe-to-toe with Art like a badass while looking damn good in that costume.
I just watched this...and MAN, I freaking LOVED it. It had a really good story and man it was brutal. I love Art The Clown though. I hope there is a Terrifier 3
First awesome shirt man! I've heard of this clown and Terrifier but have never seen the movies. I will have to hunt it down. Good review and cool video Lee!👉😃👈
Great review , i did not see terrifier 2 its maybe nostalgic ,the year when terrifer 1 gets out my dad had been sick and pass away the seconde year , its remind me of the past
In so hyped to see this movie on Thursday I cannot wait I bought my tickets 3 weeks ago and terrifier is probably my new favorite icon also awesome review telling a lot without giving it all away I love it!!
If this grows into one of the biggest Halloween franchises, which it's almost there already, it will be interesting to see how it affects other horror franchises (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Jason, Freddy, ect.). If people get adjusted to how brutal these films are it will probably make the other franchises seem PG.. which isn't what you want for a Halloween franchise. Also I don't think Art is silent because he is uniquely "Art". I think he is a subgenre of clowns, a mime, which never talk but act everything out.
Dude, knowing how you felt originally by the first film, this makes me so happy to hear how you feel about T2! I am so thrilled that you loved it! I've been waiting to hear your thoughts!

David Howard Thornton is excellent in the role.

I truly believe she is a Joan of Arc character. Art is a Demon that she is fighting. Its what struck me as I watched it, from her Armour to the sword.

It's definitely the biggest surprise of the year.
@@DrumdumsOfficial Absolutely!
In terms of just attractiveness and beauty, my top 5 final girls are as follows:
1. Sienna, Terrifier 2
2. Sidney, Scream
3. Nancy, A Nightmare On Elm Street
4. Maxine, X
5. Thomasin, The Witch
I'm so hyped for this movie. It worried me a bit about it being over 2 hours, but going from your review & how much you enjoyed it, I'm sure I'm going to end up loving it just as much. Thanks for doing a review for it & keeping it spoiler free!
The runtime worried me as well at first Amanda. But before you knew it to hours had already passed. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.
@@DrumdumsOfficial I always say it's a good sign that a movie did a great job if it doesn't even feel like a 2+ hour movie. I'll definitely let you know what I think when I get to see it!
I really enjoyed part one. Excited for this one.
Did you see this in the theater? Will it be on VOD soon? Really want to see it.
This sequel has gotten so serious high praise and it deserves it T2 of horror movies is a perfect description of this horror movie sequel.
One year late, but by far my favorite movie and who else loves the soundtrack? I am now listening to Synthawave all the time. Damien Leone is pure genius! ✨
Yes it has such a great soundtrack.
Art still sitting at the kiddie table.. he's still not ready to sit with Jason Freddy Michael Chucky Leatherface pinhead or even leprechaun 🥴🤣
Lol While he isn’t at the fame of thoose legends yet we need new icons
Terrifier 2 is a great horror film. I didn't see the first Terrifier well because I never knew it existed until I heard the hype of Terrifier 2. So I watched it out of order. I watched Terrifier 2 in theaters and after work decided to watch Terrifier 1. Terrifier 1 is great as well but Terrifier 2 in my opinion is better. I hope they make a Terrifier 3, which I'm 100% sure they will do it.
The Terminator 2 of slasher movies I like really like that description Lee I need this movie now on disc
I do love the extended endings and I agree, Desert Island movie for sure, stranded on an island I would want a 2.5hr thrill ride like this
Yeah buddy 🤘🔥💀
I might just watch this just because someone dares to do something sorta original with a horror character. Do we need a new Halloween Ends movie? No!
Do we need a Terrorizer 2? Yes! Get my point?
Im there in Altamonte Oct 6th!
I'm so excited for this movie. This month is gonna be awesome for horror!
The t2 of horror movies that all I need know before i see it!
I highly doubt that.
After being let down by Orphan, and Halloween Ends. Terrifier 2 did not let down and exceeded my expectations 10/10
I can understand why you would compare this to Halloween but why Orphan? Isn't that an old movie?
@@someoneout-there2165 The First Kill isn't lol
Great review!
Thank you!
Man I can't wait to finally watch this
Ahh I can't wait till Thursday my birthday is on the 6th and this is coming out on the 6th man I'm so excited.
as a massive terrifier fan the new movie was garbage and your opinion is a joke
@@deadschooled awwww hurt feelings much? How your father feels about your existence. A joke. 🤡
@@deadschooled the only person I’ve genuinely seen say that the new movie was garbage
Man what a great time of year to be a horror fan so many awesome movies this year getting best reviews ever so it seems thanks for your review and opinions can't wait to buy it and watch this movie on day 1 have a wonderful day and thumbs up!
Yes this will definitely be a year for the books in terms of Horror.
Hellraiser & Jeepers creepers reborn out this week. Looking forward to the new Halloween movie next week & can’t wait for barbarian.
I can’t wait for this!!!
Definitely interested in getting this one!
I like Saw 1 and 2. 3 was decent but anyways I have to say Terrifier 1 and 2 makes Saw look like a child's movie though.
I actually loved the first movie because of art. This has me SO MUCH MORE EXCITED!!!!
Excited to see this film and Halloween Ends!
I'm about to see this in an hour. Can't wait!
My top 3 most anticipated
Halloween Ends, T2 and Hellraiser
Couldn't agree more with this review. I see a lot of other critics complain about the length, but I thought it was great to see a more ambitious slasher.
Hey as long as I'm not bored and entertained....keep going.
I'm a fan of the first one and saw "2" last weekend. What a trip! LOL! Entertaining and wild. David Howard Thornton and Lauren LaVera are awesome.
Just saw it. I liked the character development much more than the first one. I’d call this movie Splatstick almost because it’s so graphic and Arts mannerisms during the kills. Definitely will not be eating at the clown cafe 😂
Art the clown is A CHARACTER much more creepy than michael myers , jason and freddy together
I love this film I attended the world premiere at Frightfest in London a month ago. I can’t wait to see this film again.
Going to see it tonight!
I’m so excited for this
Terrifier Two is hell of a great time, I'm not going to pick this up on physical media but you'll probably picked it up on Walmart Steelbook when it's released
I'm definitely adding it to my collection.
It’s not playing in Kansas City 😢
I was extremely entertained. Solid 8/10 movie, for me. Art is fantastic and the… let’s just call them “new elements” worked, in my opinion.
Definitely not a movie that is for everyone, though.
This movie ruled. But you're definitely right -- this is not for casual horror fans. This isn't an introduction, it's the finish line lol.
Haha finish line. Love it!
Imo
You had me with the very first words.
FFFFFFFFFFFF ya i was waiting for this, gonna see it with my 10 friends this Friday night , LOOVED the first one & have it on Blu ray👌👍🤘✌🤷♂
Finally saw Terrifier 1 earlier this year and really enjoyed it! Looking forward to #2!!
Dont
Could've been a little bit shorter, but otherwise I freakin' loved this movie. I have to agree with you on Lauren Lavera as Sienna being the best final girl in recent years. She goes toe-to-toe with Art like a badass while looking damn good in that costume.
This Movie looks awesome! Love the review 👍
I like these movies. Over the top gore fests. Great review 👏 👌
I just watched this...and MAN, I freaking LOVED it. It had a really good story and man it was brutal. I love Art The Clown though. I hope there is a Terrifier 3
Yea going to see this Sunday... convinced lol. The runtime is insane compared to the first film which could be a good thing im thinking
Love that it’s getting a wide release.
seeing it tonight, i can't wait
If this grows into one of the biggest Halloween franchises, which it's almost there already, it will be interesting to see how it affects other horror franchises (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Jason, Freddy, ect.). If people get adjusted to how brutal these films are it will probably make the other franchises seem PG.. which isn't what you want for a Halloween franchise.
Also I don't think Art is silent because he is uniquely "Art". I think he is a subgenre of clowns, a mime, which never talk but act everything out.
