I REALLY hate movie riffing, makes me extremely angry. MST3K inspired much awful "content" which plagued the early UA-cam. If I lived in a world where RedLetterMedia never existed, I would be a much happier person. If you don't like a piece of art, don't watch it. Anyone riffing on art, even if they themselves made it, should be shamed and ostracized for not respecting it. For example I'm angry at Sam Raimi for saying Spiderman 3 is bad. I don't care if studio interference didn't let you make the movie you wanted, Sam, I don't like you badmouthing my favourite Spiderman movie regardless of if you made it. I love the finished product, not your vision.

People should always be allowed to say they dislike a movie just as much as you are allowed to say how much you dislike critics and internet reviewers. Toxic positivity is a thing, and you are a prime showcase of it. It's also asinine to call something like Laser blaster "art" when the makers of the film itself most likely did not even think much of it anyway.

I seriously doubt the use of real animal guts, obtained from a butcher, is the reason that Dead End was not released. It's not been an uncommon practice. Even makeup FX maestro, Tom Savini, has made use of them.. in a zombie movie, even.. He used them in the George A Romero zombie CLASSIC, Day of the Dead, in which, during a break from filming, the refrigeration unit he had stored the pig guts in had broken down and the innards spoiled.. They stank all to be damned on a level that was absolutely nauseating, but they used them anyway, because they had a movie to get done.

I watched Laser Blast on Mystery Science Theater 3K and it was really awesome seeing those guys goof on it, made it watchable.

It had a much more troubled production and release timeline than the likes of The New Mutants and Top Gun: Maverick, let that sink in.
Yep! Name change though, now it's "Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank" and it says its being distributed by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon
