In Psalm 71 That's the same scripture I literally cried tears on while reading it nearly 13 years ago! I was in a very tumultuous relationship that through suffering God was trying to bring me out of. I kept repeating the scripture out loud as I cried because I was so broken and I needed so desperately to believe it! 😢 Glory to God Most High who bought me out. I am now bought with a price. His purpose remained throughout because He is faithful. My maker is my husband 🙌 hands of praise

    Thanks ladies.
As I read your book. We too live in Clarksville. My granddaughter is biracial and her Dad doesn't want to be apart of her life. She has never seen him. She feels upset and doesn't like her life because kids say things about her skin color. She wants her Dad to be in her life but he just doesn't want to reach out to her, she doesn't know he doesn't want her. I hope to learn more through your story to help her, that she doesn't go down a bad path. God Bless you! Your a blessing!

    • @PhantomLyric
      @PhantomLyric 4 роки тому

@@debrab1201 This comment is literally why I said what I did. The man she killed didn't actually do ANYTHING to her. Nothing. He was completely innocent of wrong-doing. She was allegedly victimized her entire life and socialites like Kim K and T.I. and people who told her story in documentaries talk about the bad things that occured in her life to make her seem like a victim but the man she killed had absolutely nothing to do with her victimization. He never touched her. He never had sex with her. He offered her a place to sleep, foodv and a hot shower. She killed him in his sleep and stole items out of his house, his wallet, and his vehicle.
The reason she is remorseful and apologizing was because she admits now that what she did was wrong. There was no self-defense. There was no abuse.
In her initial police interviews she admits as much.
She only claims she shot him because she "THOUGHT" he was going for a gun.
Which we later learn was a lie because he was very much demonstrably asleep when she killed him. By her own words on multiple occassions he did not try to have sex with her, nor did he attempt to rape her, nor did he hurt her in any kind of way.
She killed and robbed an innocent man that SHE HERSELF offered sex.
She lied to police the day she was caught claiming to be 19 years old.
At the time she wore her hair out, had tattoos, and was built like an adult woman. She was just 3 or 4 months shy of her 17th birthday. She was closer to being an adult than she was a child.
I'm not condoning it but Hugh Hefner got rich selling nudy mags of 18 year old girls to men of all ages (mostly twice her age or older) what a difference 1 year makes.... (Sarcasm)
In court, her legal team decided she would look more innocent in pig-tails... So don't buy the child-like look you saw in court... In addition to her more adult normal look, she had also threatened to kill at least one or two law enforcement officials at the jail or juvenile jail she was being held in for not allowing her phone privileges and bragged on multiple occassions about killing her victim.
So when I tell you the guy was innocent, this is what I'm referring to... Your statement about him doing things he shouldn't have is based on misinformation, spread based on people telling and retelling her story mixing and conflating her victimization by others with the man she killed.
I repeat, he was innocent. Which is why she spent 15 years in prison and was only let out as an act of mercy.
I think given her age, 15 years was fair, but... Don't mistake that for her not deserving to be in prison. A lot of people (acting on false information) thinks she shouldn't have served any time.

    Things to remember:
    1) She was a victim of a hard life.
    2) The man she killed did not solicit her. She solicited him.
    3) She lied about her age to the man she killed and the police. And looked older without the pony tails.
    4) The man she killed had absolutely NOTHING to do with sex trafficking or victimizing her.
    5) The man she killed never had sex with her.
    6) After he offered her a place to sleep, a hot meal, and a shower, he went to sleep.
    7) She killed him in his sleep, stole his money, property, and car.
    8) Blogs have taken pieces of her story and mixed up the details. More than anything, you need to understand the man she killed was 100% innocent and that she lied about being in fear of him harming her.
She served 15 years in prison by the time black twitter decided they cared about her.
But rest assured, the girl seriously killed an innocent man. All of this praise she is getting is frightening.

    • @PhantomLyric

@@user-mz5dp9em4k All of that and that is literally the only point you could make? She had a tattoo, she was almost 17 at the time of the murder. Not 14. Not 15. So in YOURRR opinion she looked 14. The reality is she was closer to 18 than she was to.15 or 14 and she lied to both the man she killed who had no history of violence or sexual abuse against ANYONE amd she also lied to the police. She already had a fake birthday planned and everything. The she killed didn't even have sex with her at allllllll (she even admitted that)! He was asleep when she killed him! If your only defense is, "He shouldn't have picked that young girl up," then you fail because literally his only wrong was giving her a ride and offering her food and a shower. I think her sentence was harsh and I think 20-25 years wpuld have been fair. She served 15 years and I don't think that was enough. She basically gamed the system. And here we are 16 years later and people are showering her with lobe like she didn't just murder and rob an innocent man. Come on now.

      @PhantomLyric 4 роки тому +3

@@moniquecatesby4073 Um. No. Two things can be true at the same time, m8. She was young, dumb, and stupid. Not a child-raping serial killer. Putting her in prison until death would be too harsh for a crime she commited as a kid. Why not just kill her?
So yes, it was a harsh sentence... But she deserved every bit of the time she DID spend in there.
My overall point is, many people are under the false impression that she was the victim of the man she killed. She was not. These same people don't think she should have served ANYYYY time in prison based on that false narrative.
The fact that I had to explain any of that to you is why the disinformation campaign has to end.
Even in her parole hearing she admits that the man she killed was innocent and that she made a mistake.

People this is a doggie dog world we live in. We don't really know what took place the night she murder this gentleman and we also don't know this young lady full history before she was adopted. We on the outside trying to look in. Mental illness is real people. The young lady was diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome therefore she had mental damage at birth from exposure while she was in her mother's womb. We can place judgements and give our opinions all day long but we was not living and her mind state and experiencing the things she was going through. Maybe she did runaway but we don't know what she was running from. Yes she was promiscuous that's being one of the signs of being diagnosed with FAS as you grow as a troubled teen. I feel in this case she was her own worst enemy and the type of people she migated to didn't help any. The young lady did her best considering she had no rearing or guidances before her adopted parents came into her life but by then even at her very young age mentally she was already gone. Coming from where she came from into this welled structured home you all claim, was foreign to her she was already rebellious, disrespectful, and out of control. The mindset she had was Street and yes she dodded on it because that's all she knew. God and jail is what saved her life it was part of her destiny to murder that man. God take what's bad in our life and use it for our good. Cyntoia is going to be a blessing for someone's young daughter or son that have the same mindset and behavior she once had. As a people especially black people can we be less judgmental and more open minded. We all are not cut from the same cloth and born into a positive environment. If God is for us who can be against us. First one without sin, please cast the first stone.

@@keykeyrena1724 readdressing the full case file if you can read and you might think differently. I think she got away with murder and should be still in prison.

I agree, people acting and like she's a celebrity as she goes from show to show
recycling her story. The original documentary is online. She shot a man that
was sleeping in cold blood. Regardless of what she thought he was going to
do, she still murdered him. Calling 911 and other alternatives were still available
to her. A teenage prostitute that she chose to be, got with the wrong people and
then ended up killing a man in the course of a robbery setup by her pimp.
I saw the documentary and trial, and now hear her side again years later. I'm
sorry for those who disagree and feel some kind of way because this is not
a Hollywood ending. Celebrities put pressure on the court system in
Tennessee in the eara of Trump and got this individual released. Most of
what happened to her was based on the choice she made to run off and
get with the wrong people. There are children in countries of war in far
worse situations who didn't kill someone because of what they thought
the other person was going to do. It's not like the guy pulled out a gun
and fired at her or said he was going to shoot her. I'm not feeling this
case at all. There are people in prison wrongfully accused who did nothing,
let alone take a life and they are not free. Guy right now in Texas about
to get the death penalty with physical evidence he was not the perpetrator
      and he's counting his days.

She looked like a lil baby in her mugshot. What decent man would try to have sex with a lil girl like that. Men are nasty. Old guys picking up 14yo girls to have rough anal sex with them. Heck, I would try to shoot him as well.
