- She made national headlines and inspired Hollywood celebrities and music artists to plead her case, urging lawmakers, the Governor of Tennessee, even the President, to release her from prison. Now, Cyntoia Brown, convicted of murder as a 16 year-old girl, is a free woman after spending 15 years behind bars.
I know this girl. I remember the first day she arrived in the women's prison back in 2005 when I was a CO in Nashville. She's a good person. I wish her the best.
Enlightened Gal: It's obvious he didn't intend on Cyntoia to leave his house alive. What john invites a unknown woman to his house unless he has ulterior motives. Have you ever heard of Jeffry Dahmer? John Gacy? to name a few. I rest my case. I'm glad Cyntoia is free, like she should be.

With God nothing is impossible. The effectual fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much. Glory to the Most High God! Her story reminds me of when the apostle Paul was imprisoned and the saints were praying for him. God sent an angel to release Paul...the prison doors were opened and while they were still praying Paul came and knocked on the door! Jesus is Lord and there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. In him there is freedom redemption and fullness of joy!
She’s so beautiful inside and out. To think where she started, she’s a role model now.. she’s married she had a relationship in Christ.. I love the book and her story is so inspiring. ❤

She's lying and people are buying into it. In another interview she stated she didn't believe in God because He didn't answer her prayer of letting her out of prison even though she was the one who made the poor choices to end up there.

@@charmaineblake5020 unfortunately, the facts of the case are contrary to your version .Her testimony is he never had sex with her ,therefore he did not " rape her at all .And even if he had sex with her, it would have not been rape, she was a prostitute who made a deal to have sex with him .He was not a pedophile, she lied about HER age ,both to him and the police, also lying about her name to avoid admitting she was underage, and covering for her boyfriend, who she claimed was abusing her. The only people who believe her fairy tale story are women, who just like her want to play victim instead of being adults. The facts of the case are available to all ,and indicate exactly why she did 15 years for murdering her trick.
@@finewine8712 the man was asleep ,if she felt in danger she could have called the police or just left the scene. Instead ,she shot him execution style in the back of the head, robbed him of money, his gun collection and his truck, and returned to her so called pimp she now claims was beating her, abusing her, and sex trafficking her . And yet in her own testimony , she was a runaway who left a good home, was already in trouble with the law and kicked out of school way before she met her boyfriend, which is what she called him to the police, she never said he was her pimp. She may indeed have been 16 ,but she was no kid ,and even if she was kids can and do commit horrible crimes. Having a bad childhood ,which she herself chose, is no excuse for killing a man who had done nothing to her at all .That's why the judge ,and jury sentenced her to 51 years in prison. They actually had mercy on her ,killing someone in the act of robbing them is a capital murder offense punishable by the death penalty .If she had been a few months older, and therefore an adult ( 17 ) they would have put her ass on death row .Putting your hair in ponytails for court don't make you no damn kid .That was a show that didn't work .
