I set up finishers to do the most damage because they are finishers. One of the things that I don't like about the modern era of wrestling is the finisher fests.
Exactly, it should take only 1 for mid carders and lower, and 2 only against main eventers, realistically.
Yea the worst part of this game is hitting 2 Curb Stomps on R-truth, and he still kicks out lol finishers should be auto ends for anyone under an OVR 80.
Bruh it took me 5 finishers to put Roman down even though I had my finisher slider on 100%

I can understand why Brocks dive tendency is so high. He used to do shooting star presses back in the day. I'm so glad that they set it up so that one of Brock '03s signatures is actually a shooting star press because it tells me that the guys that are making this game are actually OG fans of wrestling which is why 2k22 and 2k23 have been so much better than their other games.

If you want back and forth matches and also longer matches jack the reversal slider window to 100 and lower the AI damage and user bar down to 10. I tested this earlier and went 14 minutes bell to bell in universe mode. That was with a finisher kick out by the CPU.
Yeah, like DManChi said, the Post-Kickout Recovery does the opposite weirdly. Putting it on 0 for the AI for instance, has them kick out of damn near everything, even after multiple finishers. Putting it at 100 has them get squashed.

You're a hidden gem. This makes gameplay seem more realistic.. I don't even have to crank it up to legend.. I leave it on hard.. With the setting changed.. It makes feel more difficult.. Thanks a bunch!!!!

I put the kickout bar to 100 it’s way better than having that kinda small bar. But I also like that when you get a lot of damage you don’t get the huge bar still.
Nice👍🏼👍🏼🔥🔥 ppl just simply have to learn how to control their settings. There’s literally nothing wrong with it. It’s just a bit confusing if you don’t know what you’re doing.
The post kickout damage slider works the opposite way actually. The lower you put that slider the more they seem to recover because I've had that slider at 10 and have seen wrestlers kick out nonstop. The match went on for an hour and still didn't end
2k really need to put descriptions on the bottom or wherever it is, cuz this confusing af
@@mannycarbonilla5601 Couldn't agree more. I'm still searching for the settings to keep stunned people down for longer.. it's so anticlimatic to climb out of the cage after a finisher and by the time you make it, opponent is already back up... >_
@@DarlinaLTesh try maxing out the stun duration just lower the stun gain.
Sadly you have to adjust the wrestler it self the default recovery’s are like insane
I've experienced this as well and had to win by submission because they kept kicking out.
what are the settings to make AI weak? like the AI takes longer time to recover and longer time lying on the ground??

I made a video on this as well. Since the new update yesterday though, the wording has been completely changed. We are no longer hum, we are players as people were confused. pressure pin is now called easy moderate difficult. finisher history is now called influence. Great video. I'd like to think mine is ok. The more people share, the better. @9:30 the pin speed is the little narrow white bar that moves. kickout zone size has been renamed to speed, that's how fast the green bar moves side to side. I THINK. You have me questioning myself now lol

I only adjusted the basic ones like blood and difficulty but thank you for making this video because I didn't know what to do. I feel better now and can adjust as I want.
Love the advanced sliders, but they really should be for individual wrestlers. Some finishers should have more power than others.
I mean, there are sliders for individual wrestlers. They’re called attributes.

@@angelserrano9049 I honestly believe that stupid people have ruined video games and not developers, developers only make what people say they want and when they get it they realise it’s not what they wanted its so backwards
Just so everyones aware the slider is actually the opposite for HUM recovery. The lower it is, the faster you kick out. The higher it is the longer it takes. If you go to 100 the 1st pin always goes to 1 count, but mines at 40 on legend difficulty and i kick out before for 1, and also at 1 count when hit by a finisher.
How about the for balancing Basic Reversal Windows, Ground Attack Reversal Windows and Signature & Finishers?
@KM-lc6hj honestly on legend i don't see that much of a difference. I increase mine but the only thing i saw an effect on was reversing finishers became easier granted i never put mine to a 100. I dont know, but it seems like reversal is more broken than last year. The majority of the times, the reversal prompt doesn't pop up for a lot of moves. So i put mine on default. The only one i have increased is ground reversal and that hardly ever shows a prompt to reverse.

I've been asking for it for years but I REALLY want a crowd intensity slider for individual wrestlers. Everyone gets the same pop which isn't accurate to TV. 100 should be for the likes of Roman, Austin, Rock etc. Then lower numbers are for jobbers and less popular talent.
I hope they make it like nba2k where you can save a file for a game settings so we can just load specific settings for the type of match we want.

The AI automatically does more damage. I can be Brock Lesnar & Seth Rollins can hit me with a suplex or two & my health bar goes down more where as if I hit him with a bunch of German suplexes his health goes down slower. I only noticed this when I changed the difficulty to Legend, but wonder if the two are related
I need help to make it easier to reverse. I almost never get reverse prompts. Please help. I like losing in wrestling games but not because I can't reverse anything.

Thanks. This games been great. Mygm has been fun and universe has been running super smooth other than some match tables not working fully correct. Games way better than 2k22 and even that was decent.

Is there a slide to make where the ai doesn’t get up after every move?
Does anyone know a way to increase the amount of time your opponent stays down on the mat for? I have a real issue with any opponent always getting right back up and not selling any of the moves I'm hitting them with. I'm not talking about the instant recovery payback, I just mean in general. I want my matches to feel more realistic and when the opponent gets up after 1 sec that doesn't feel right.
You need the Cheat Engine table for increased stun frequency and duration, from Dirty Cheater on the Smacktalks forum.

Perfect! Thanks for breaking those down! There’s so many ways to tweak the gameplay. Those ai tendencies was the thing that cemented the purchase and I’m so glad I did, I’m having a blast!

The issue with the referee targeting it glitches in tag matches and the ai attacks the ref at the beginning lol
Srun duration I dunno which way is better they get up so quick

One thing I would like to adjust; AI tag break ups, OMG you cannot cheese anymore, they break up fast as all days
2k23 might be the only yr where I won’t have to mess with the slider cus legendary difficulty actually feels like legendary difficulty. 22 I feel like I’m playing ez mode 😂

A tip for those who don't know... You can press X or A to kick out instead of the right stick. Makes it much easier.
The A.I. post kick out recovery is actually used to have them kick out more or less based on settings. Found this out from a reddit thread and it stopped them from kicking out of 5+ finishers. To do this, turn the A.I. post kick out slider HIGHER to stop them from kicking out so much.
How do I change it to the X
I’m loving how ppl are starting to figure it out. Its annoying when people insult 2k or say it’s garbage just because they don’t know what they’re doing.
Does anyone know how to get the Ai to climb the ladder with you so you can do ladder finishers, they seem to not want to climb where as in 2k22 they always climbed it
I don't mind have my finishers and signatures all the way up bc if I want ai to kick out I can either hit up on the D Pad to have them kick out or hit L1 to cancel the pin. It's when they kick out of a move that should end the match that annoys me
Off topic but does anyone know how to run in during an entrance like attack opponent as they’re coming to the ring?
Matt How do I tweak it so that the ai doesn't kick out of 10 finishers in one match or does it just depend on the difficulty
Up the A.I. post kick out recovery slider to around 65-70. It works the opposite so the higher the number, the better chance you have at winning.

I was wondering if you could tell me what I'm doing wrong, Because even after adjusting the sliders, when I'm wrestling anybody, I'll hit them with over twenty finishers, and they're still kicking out powerfully at 2.

Great video! Thanks for explaining. I was just doing random numbers cuz I didn’t really get what they were asking hahah. Also, I have my flag speed down very low so the bar doesn’t move like the old game, but the bar gets smaller. Much more fun. That moving bar is awful. Thankfully we can change the settings more this year!
How do you make it where ai don’t interfere as much to break up pins in tag matches

OH COOL when u put manual ref targeting on this year both side have their target set on the ref first when the bell rings and the AI always attacks the ref off the rip yaaaaaayyy ...guess thats getting turned off while we pray it gets fixed... im just so beside myself every year with this game

Yeah sorry ai sliders don't work. You could have them all the way and the AI is still ridiculous. It's easy to win, but they counter everything and move three times faster than you.

Customize sliders doesn't work for universe mode. I Hope they fixed It very soon
They literally just changed the wording and how the sliders work now. With Recent and Previous now stated for pin difficulty. Then easy, moderate, and difficult for timing, for indicator speed, kickout zone size, and kickout zone speed.

I play in Hard difficulty because in legend difficulty you cant do more moves since the AI always ends up with a reversal.
I like to watch both a.i. do a match together how can i make it where they keep kicking out even after they both hit 2 finishers to each other??

I have it set on Rapid instead of Timed, does that make a difference? I could really use your help on this because you sound like you know more than most people! Hi @AssembleShow which slider is for submissions? Whenever i apply a submission the A.I are way over powered and get straight out of it with in 1 or 2 taps of the pad.

When I made the video it was before 2k did an update and changed the names of the sliders. It’s all the same but the names just changed

normal and adjust the sliders. if you adjust the sliders enough you could put it on hard and be ok. but try normal and just see how it feels.
