Mike has been playing the guitar since he was 12 years old, and from that first moment his love affair with music and the instrument began. Fresh out of school at the age of 16 he attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and completed a year-long Diploma course.
After finishing the ACM his life as a full time musician began, playing in numerous bands and touring up and down the country playing iconic venues such asThe Shepherds Bush Empire, The Astoria, The Underworld and London’s Jazz Café. He’s also been fortunate enough to support industry legends Paul Weller, Blondie and Katie Melua.
Mike’s session work has led to his working on a variety of projects - from performing with stars such as Ricky Wilson and Diana Vickers, to appearing in many TV shows and adverts. Mike loves being on stage performing, but is equally at home recording in a studio - where he has worked with Alex Von Soos (All Saints, Seal, Atomic Kitten), Mike Horner (The Prodigy, Shakira, Bloc Party), and Mike Chapman (Blondie, Suzi Quatro)

Jack White uses it a lot too, for example on Seven Nation Army. I haven’t used mine in awhile, but you’ve inspired me to connect it to my board again. In addition to the regular 2 octave mode, I like using it as an octave pedal in harmony mode, where the dry signal comes through too.

Yes of course he would have used one. There is so much you can do with it, I’ll certainly be experimenting more with it as well.

Should definitely try it with a heavy delay, thick reverb, and maybe a touch of chorus... Synth greatness awaits.

I have a love/hate with it.
I mostly use expression pedal with 1 oct up.
I find 2 oct up is too much.
I always found useless the intervals in the fake "Harmony" section, it would be fine to have a real harmonizer instead.
Or, I'd prefer to have the drop tuning function instead, as in the Whammy DT.
Don't use oct down or dive bomb, I don't like it, it is a lot better the effect of a real floyd rose.
Anyway 1 oct down is useful in fixed position.
Detune is really good.
Probably if Digitech will ever release a "Ricochet DT" they'll have my money.
