Hey Kyle--Dude! I trust all is well. You are missed. Your Storyteller/vanLife content is the most exciting new channel to land. I am sure that I am not alone in hoping you return soon (smile).--Al Newby
Greatly appreciate it Al! I was taking a recharge break and some personal stuff but I actually resigned this month to start doing youtube full time as of next week! Lots of content to come and glad you're enjoying it.
I also have Starlink. I originally got it for our remote property in Colorado, but now with the mobile plan excited to try it while traveling in our STO.
Another great video brother ! Very informational and solid content too. Keep it coming mate and looking forward to crushing some trips with ya in the near future. 🤟
IMO, Starlink is a must for digital Nomads, of which I am one. When you can make your money from anywhere on the road the price is an exceptional value. A small price to pay for reliable internet access. Even with the throttled down speed when roaming. And yes, we are definitely "early adopters". Great video!
Sure thing! So I have a primary and backup Primary: amzn.to/3N5r9xX - Lifesaver Jerrycan. Full filter and I can pump this into the main tank or drink right out of it. Backup: amzn.to/3a763AC - Katadyn pocket filter amzn.to/3m0NmRQ - Steripen UV for viruses. I have a micro-USB recharging model but I don't see it listed anymore
you really convinced me to get the storyteller! It'll be a bit before, but it's a goal! I'm also in Texas in Houston. How has the van been in our hot weather?
I've quickly learned it's much easier to manage cold vs hot weather in a van. I'd say it's holding up relatively well but the AC is incredibly loud, I wish it had a more quiet mode or actual low for the fan. Heat runs forever and just sips diesel + the top notch insulation. Anything 85+ the AC is pretty much running the whole time and somewhat struggles to keep things cold but much better than no AC
IMO, Starlink is not a Magic Pill, Try being up in the Sierras Nevada’s where we go and Boondock and dry camp. Montana Wyoming. Anywhere with trees your toast. Search for service and get it for 15min then nothing for hours. Yes out in the open it is good service. RV is at the low end of Starlink Service. Just remember, if there are trees around your not getting consistent service. It is NOT the best service for Nomads.
Hi Do you need some great lighting for your car to help you better driving, off-road? We're the pro auto lighting manufacturer for nearly 20 year and we're looking for sponsorship!
Thanks for all the info. Super helpful. Different UA-camr in this segment. Great change. Keep it up man ✌️

Definitely nice to have the peace of mind knowing you'll have service!
Man I really want this for my rural house and on the Semi truck but I kinda need it on the move every now and then. Thanks for the review
They just got licensed for boats and planes so hopefully a mobile car setup soon is on the way.
@@KylePugliese I ordered it and then later that day they got the approval 🙌 talk about timing lol

Can you go through your water filter setup you mentioned at the end?

What is the make of the booster you refer to?
Weboost drive reach, there should be a link in the description. It’s really solid I’m still planning to use it

Starlink is way too much money
So don't get it then.
Small price to pay to be able to play WOW classic anywhere.
