He probably has a hypermobile syndrome. I have it and the only thing I have to watch out for is my joints and soft tissue. So running, swimming, walking, moderate-heavy weight training is all I can do. Otherwise, I would like to see his flexibility workout.
@@maynardfrench5418 for a person who runs half marathon every week. You have to stretch a lot and warm up the muscles. Just like how you start a car. It feels super weird not stretching, I feel like I’m putting half of work into my running. Same with my calisthenic work outs, I miss out on reps because I didn’t stretch enough to warm up the muscles. Your muscles are like a rubber band, you have to give it lubrications and play.
Okay, this killed! Everything lower body I did at home since my gym closed felt goofy, but this work out with high rep sets gave me more of that glorious ache from my butt down than anything I was doing at the gym. I'll be working my way through more of your dumbbell workouts looking for more gold.
I did his 100 squats with bar, then 100 with a bit more weight then another 100 with a bit more weight. So good. My legs were genuinely in DOMS mode for a week.
@@shmonn. 'delayed onset muscle soreness' . Basically that deep ache you get one or two days after a heavy session in the muscles you targeted. If you go hard enough you can't walk properly or operate you arms properly because they get so sore. lol. According to Ryan that workout is amazing for growth and I have to agree. When I follow his recommendations I get bigger.
that calf move was worth the price of admission. I'd love a full series for those of us shut out of gyms and trying to warrior it out in our garages with a set of old rusty db's
Man, I’ve gained so much muscle from your vids. Adding them on top of ones I already know. I just instantly feel more growth. All these guys saying you have no idea what you are doing are idiots. Keep it up brother
I did this workout this morning and just 12 hours later I feel the muscle soreness creeping in - usually take at least 24 hours to hit me!! Definitely going to work this into my leg day cycle!!
As always a top video , Ryan always manages to find simple effective exercises that keep you motivated . Especially if you’re training in your garden like me. Cheers Ryan
Ryann!, i have been doing a few of your workouts and in just a week and a half i'm already seen results, THANKS YOU A LOT ( little teawks are incredibles)
Hey man just wanted to say this leg workout toasted my legs in new and painful ways! Appreciate all you do. Up until now i was chopping out some of your stuff and adding my own, but after running this routine out of the box I’m a believer!
Ryan, I tried your shoulder giant-set workout today and it absolutely crushed me unlike my typical shoulder routine. Thanks for giving me some variation and valuable tips!
The variation of dumbbells is extremely useful for a small person like me ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 But the dumbbell size being large it's hard to do certain exercises like deadlift ( I have to have my hands and legs a bit wider to accommodate the size of the DB )Otherwise happy with the purchase. No excuse not to lift weight when it's snowing outside.
I'd been neglecting legs because I have a ton of hardware in my leg and doing bar weight leg workouts causes me immense aching pain. So like 90% of my leg workouts were on machines in the gym. I dumped my gym membership during COVID and bought a squat rack, bench and free weight. But i basically stopped doing legs. Stumbled over this today and it slaughtered my legs without making the brackets and screws in my leg ache. Thank you for this!
While I disagree with the calves workout I am definitely trying the others. Love the variation, looks great from extra mobility. For my own calves workouts I toss something under my toes to get that over extended position like a 2x4 or a step. Great video! Love your content.
I always thought dumbbell exercises were a lost cause for my legs because my toes weren't long enough to hold the dumbbell. Thanks Ryan for showing me otherwise!
@@kaisar101films7 So, I do 4 sets of everything, this I do 15 to 20 reps each leg, with 60lbs dumbbell. But you may be different, the reps doesn't matter so much as getting hypertrophy. So if 20 doesn't give you a good burn than do more or heavier. I used to do lower weight higher reps and now I lift heavier weight lower reps which has been a game changer.
Thank you for these informative videos , I love trying your tips, tricks and just trying new things in my workouts. It’s really made a difference in my results 👍
I'm going to try some of these. I already tried the calf one, and just need to get used to it. The dumbbell squat here is interesting but don't like holding them in that position, the Goblet feels better, but obviously can't use that much weight. The Stiff-legged with the arc, seems like what I need. I always have trouble feeling the Hams in the traditional exercise.

love the direction and editing of the video. straight to the point! and i'm straight subscribed!
Excellent tweaks. I need these type of workouts for every body part (with dumbbells).
This was the perfect antidote to a stale lower body workout. Thanks!
I substituted the dumbbell squats with goblet squats and followed your advice. I love it 💪🏾
I look JUST like this guy, except i have a patchy beard and no muscle whatsoever
Use minoxidil for beard and take creatine if u don’t like creatine just hold your semen in it’s a natural strength booster
I have the beard, and bird legs.

Love this shit! You don’t need to lift the entire gym to grow. Just do it the Ryan way!!!
Ryan squats more than you. And me. That's why he has monster legs. Those muscles aint from dumbbells.
This was a great work out
bro. I added it to some of my routine for legs and calf's
I've been following him and using his techniques at the gym and DAYMN I'm seeing some sweet results! Thanks for the free lessons Ryan!
I’m a female and I find his methods a lot better than some women I’ve seen doing dumbbell only leg workouts.
I love his workouts. I do them and people ask what am I doing. Then they try it. I enjoy watching them feel that pain
Since i found this channel, I have hardly added weight to my workouts, yet I still see growth
I’ve been doing that reverse lunge for years, it’s a great mountain bike exercise! Yes, it’s a killer
Just the kind of video I was looking for. Thanks Ryan! You kick ass. Keep those videos coming.
Those squats are killers ❤thanks for posting

Was here at like 150k...damn bro u blew up during COVID, u deserve it. Saved my gains and many others.
The first squat move he did is killer but the calf move may be the best ever. This guy is a pro.
