As beginner a visual leaner, I really like your style of teaching and tips. My hooks been in a drawer 1 year, failed attempts. ?? I have a crocheted 2 color strand scrap yarn blanket. Can I use frogged yarn to make a closer weave blanket? Many thanks.
If it is still curling, you might need to keep working a few rows before the curl calms down. Since you are new, you might want to check your tension as you are doing your backward pass and make sure you aren’t pulling too tightly because that will create curl too.
I am also new to Tunisian crochet. Thank you for showing us to increase hook size. Wow what a difference. Great teacher, well done.

Yes! You can use scraps.
I am new to Tunisia but I do crochet all the time...I went up 2 sizes and it is still curling

My fabric seems rather stiff. I have gone up a size too.
