I have watched some of your videos and they are very helpful and inspiring. Thank you so much for the tips and all the hard work you put in each video. Still waiting for your coming parts for TSA! I also apply for LSE and you have encouraged me a lot! Have a nice day!
Thank you! yes I have them I just havent had the time to start editing and recording voice over - that's great! have you applied already or are you applying this year?
I like your honesty and sincerity!
aw thank you so much xx good luck!
Your channel is just amazing! This is literally the best out here on yt! For some reason there’s not much on UA-cam for E+M. Just signed up to your 1-1 support hope you got it even though it’s August 😅😊
Ikr! It's why I made these videos because I wish I had them haha and sure I'd love to help, can you send me message on Instagram @presence_itstartswithaction 😁😁
And thank you so much for the comment, really appreciate it xx

Hi! Did you get in? 🤗
Thank you very much for the carefully produced video!
no problem, i hope it helped!
Hey Presence, i decided to apply to Oxford really late (in September), so i feel really behind, so i love all your tips and advice, it's always calming to hear some sort of direction. and plus i love your attitude towards not getting in, its truly inspirational. I would love to participate in the group zoom calls, that'd be cool
Hiya x 🤣🤣 ur the only one who is interested so far , unfortunately now with university starting life is just mad crazy , but if you have any questions of anything feel free to send me a message on insta @presence_itstartswithaction
Presence 😂😂I’m guessing cause I’m panicking
But thanks a lot
I’ll message you
Great video ✌🏾👏
@@ayshowo6092 hiii!! did you get in?
Hii! Thank you so much for the tips. I'm also considering applying to Oxford E&M so this video is so useful. I have submitted the form in the description, asking for 1/1 support. I hope you don't mind checking it out. How lucky I am to stumble upon this video cause I'm seriously looking everywhere for Oxford - application support haha. Have a nice day!!
sorry i just saw this x how did it go?
This was really helpful, Thanks! It does make me a lot more worried though, when did you start preparing for the TSA? BTW I would love to do the weekly calls to discuss Econ and Management issues
i started 4 months ago which i dont recommend i know people who got in started later - i over worried and it didnt end up well :)
Please Please Please make TSA videos! I would've thought June is too late! Timing is an issue, but also competence at all questions so seeing your logic on the questions would be amazing
Thank you! I'll try to post the problem solving video next!
@@presence3589 thanks it would be so much help
Heyyy where did could I find the past papers to practice for (TSA)? Like the book that you showed and does it have the answers at the back??
hiyaaa , here are the links ^_^
TSA past papers - www.admissionstesting.org/for-test-takers/thinking-skills-assessment/tsa-oxford/preparing-for-tsa-oxford/ ( under section 1 and section 2 )
For the other books, I bought them on amazon and yes the answers are in the book too :
there are 1000 questions in this book so if you only get 1 book I would get this one, it also has explanations for the real TSA past papers: amzn.to/3eKHNSR
if you want to get all the others then here are the links :
think can you think:amzn.to/2VUmju2
Ace the TSA : amzn.to/2Y0U6Ew
I also got this book ( though I didn't get to the interview stage so can't comment how useful it actually was ) : amzn.to/2xZqKvs
Hi I just discovered your videos and they’re really great, you mentioned that one shouldn’t mention wealth of nations haha, any particular reason why?
Thank you! Just my view and from talking to others - its a thick one that professors may not expect A level students to get and its just a very common one so others might also mention it - tho this is just my thoughts and a few others so if you feel you want to then do what feels right :) no right answer
What steps would you take to advise people like me who don’t have economics a level
As long as you have maths thats good - try to do more reading outside your A levels and explain clearly why you want to do it in your PS and why you didn't choose it for A level ,i think this will help
If u do tsa and do really good or really bad, do you get an interview regardless
you have to do really well on the TSA - that's most important for an interview
I am going to apply economics and management this year. Would love to do chatting or discussion with you about economics which will help me a lot. Plz reply ..
send me a dm on insta when you're free x
Hi! Nobody in my family has ever studied in Finance so I want to be prepared because Oxford is my dream school! Would I be able to get an undergrad in Economics and Management and then get a Graduate Degree in Finance?
No one in mine did either , I cant answer that sorry it depends on a lot of factors 😅 but never let your background be a limitation. You definitely can do whatever you want regardless of what your family did as long as you work hard towards it. And from what I heard you dont need a graduate degree to get into finance ( unless you want to do it ofc )
@@presence3589 Thank you!
I know this is off-topic but you’re so beautiful!
Thank you ZhannaXD appreciate that haha
hi I was wondering what you think the best a level combo is? Should I do fm?
Yes fm will really help . Fm , maths , physics , econ is a popular combo but I recommend do what you enjoy and believe you will get the best grade , maths is a must tho
@@presence3589 thank you! I was thinking something more along the lines of maths fm econ and history as I also quite like essay writing subjects, would this work? Or does this mean i am more suited to ppe?
thanks
@@oscarpatel809 yep that combo is great
@@presence3589 so do you think i should apply for ppe or econ?
@@oscarpatel809 whichever interests you most
Can you please recommend books for E&M?
I think if you have more time than the basics like freakanomica and undercover economist is good but I wouldn't write it in the PS.. I have a few books I mentioned in the description which would be the ones I recommend 😊 , btw I'm doing a personal statement call for year 12s on Friday x dm me on insta if you want to know more about it and join xx ❤ good luck
Thanks for reply, but what's "personal statement call for 12s"?
I would love to hear back from you and join you in insta

I got 70% on my first practice paper for TSA, i did the specimen test, is that an accurate score or a one off?
I had a range of different scores from different past papers, i would just do all of them once and try again if you have time
@@presence3589 I wrote the 2020 past paper today and got 72/100, I just want to know where that puts me.
@@dawhat8561 above 70 is great! it depends on the year and how other people in your year are doing - oxford college websites publish stats on those who get interviews, 70 there's a high chance - but again depends on other factors ofc
@@presence3589 I have taken science stream with physics and chemistry, If I were to get below 90% say 87-86% in chemistry but my overall was still above 90% (A*AA) and my TSA score was 73-74 do you think i would atleast be considered?
@@dawhat8561 @Arya Pitre As long as you meet the requirements then you can apply and if you score in the top for the TSA then I think you would get an interview, sorry I cant say anything more as I am not the admissions tutor but just know the TSA is really important when it comes to whether you get an interview or not
What were your a level grades and TSA score?
I forgot .. I dont think I checked or cared at the time haha because I was rejected before they published results.. I know my classmate who got in got 70 so aim for 70
hii i want to study an e + m degree at oxford but idk if i should do further maths alevel? is it a requirement or not at oxford? ive selected maths, economics, history and english literature as my alevels but i still have time to change it to further maths, please let me know!!
If you wanna do econ at a good uni, further maths is the best bey
agree ha
