Loved The Judds! Will never ever be a mother and daughter duo like them, if ever, again. Saw them at my county fair, in the 80’s when I was little, when they were just starting out. One of my first, if not my first concert. I was little but I remember how great they were. So heartbroken.😪💔🙏🏼

Back before Wynonna and Naomi became famous Naomi was a nurse. When she stopped touring with her daughter it was because she had contracted hepatitis C at some point while she was a nurse and it was getting to the point where her health couldn't handle touring anymore. The really sad thing is that on Sunday May 1, 2022 they are going to be inducted to the Country Music Hall of Fame for all the songs they did as a duet The Judds.

PTSD and Depression are brutal to a person's mind. And it's exhausting. At 76 yrs of age she'd had enough. Naomi was tired of the battle. I'm so sorry and heartbroken for her family, and wish she hadn't chose this way, but at the same time I get it. She was tired😥💔

As someone who spent over three decades working with and taking care of people like your Aunt, I say keep singing her that song. Especially on the bad days. Thank you for paying homage to an artist that you never met. I remember when this pandemic first began and many of us asked many of you UA-cam reaction creators to recognize each artist as we lost them. You stepped up then and certain ones such as you continue to this... Thank you and you have my respect and appreciation. These days the elderly are easily disregarded. But certain people continue to give and show kindness and empathy to others. Which in turn, continues to give me hope for our future. Thanks RIP: Naomi Judd U R Missed 💔🔥🎶🤗

I was just devastated yesterday, in tears when I found out that Naomi passed away. The video you're watching highlights Wynonna, which is the daughter of Naomi. They were a duet, Naomi Judd is the one that was in the nursing uniform, petite and very beautiful, her daughter Wynonna is the one that is singing the song and Naomi does the low harmony with her daughter. The harmony is so tight and so subtle..it's very beautiful, I'm sure you'll react to more of their songs because they're very very good, and they always had a story to tell and a very meaningful purpose. I hope you can react to Love Can Build a Bridge. Watch the original video because it is fantastic.
I'm glad you reacted to them and I hope you will react to more of their songs.
Also as part of their backstory, Naomi had gotten hepatitis when she worked as a nurse and so that's one reason she had to leave the duet and they were doing so well, she just had toback away because she was physically not well at the time. They were so popular in the 80s and early 90s. Also Naomi's other daughter is Ashley Judd, which has had great success as an actress.

Back in my day, no internet. I come from a large family, 5 brothers. Big round table and all sitting down to eat. We played outside, even in the snow. We had pets of all kinds and had to take care of them. We fought, we loved, we disagreed and argued. TV was rare, very rare when I was little. One neighbor had a TV and sometimes I would sneak over to see what that flicking black white light was showing me! My grandparents and parents are gone now, I only have some rare old black and white photos to help remember faces and some places. Three of my brothers are also gone, passed on before more things got worse.
Not all of the old days were good, but I will say it was a hell of a lot better. I hadn't heard about Naomi I rarely watch the news these days, just upsets me. So sad.

As you spoke of kids today being attached to their electronics, it took me back to my childhood. The summer days when you got up, had breakfast, and Mom would boot us out the door to play outside. We'd come in for lunch and back out we'd go, be back in by dinner time. And still go out to play afterwards. Unless the weather was bad, we were outside. Even in the winter, unless there was a horrible snow storm or extremely frigid temps, Mom would bundle us up and out the door we'd go!

Yes that was a memory of her own childhood. The Judds were a mother/daughter duo. The person doing the lead is the daughter. The woman who was the mother of the little girl jumping rope was the mother in the duo. They are Wynonna and Naomi Judd. The mother is Naomi who passed away. They had a remarkable style and sound. I love the way their voices harmonized. Please listen to more of their music. Never heard any other group with such a unique and pleasant sound.

I saw The Judds in concert in 1989, was gifted tickets on the second row. Mama Judd was so beautiful on stage, sashaying in her beautiful dress and singing perfect harmony with Wynona. She looked like a doll. She is irreplaceable. Sing with the angels, free from the burdens and sadness of a deep depression, Mama Judd. We will never forget you. Naomi Judd really was like Momma to so many of us and she was the strongest Christian woman!! SO strong in her faith!! And always the one trying to rein in her wildass red headed daughter. So, when Momma threw in the towel & couldn't take it anymore....Yeah. All the rest of us Mom's....it's tough. When you feel like I'm messing up so bad & if I could only be as strong as HER!

I love that you reacted to this song/video. It is truly a beautiful song and thoughtful video. They just don’t make them like this anymore. We all need to aspire to returning to morality and true compassion. RIP Mama Judd.

Rip! I have been a fan since they began! I really hope the sisters can love and be able to close a gap that I’ve heard has been there for years.. Ashley is the vocal one saying she hated her southern upbringing and how bitter she was about her mother and sister duo… BUT maybe she has changed since this interview.. and will be there for her sister that was with their mom daily! Much love… ❤️Tennessee

I was born in 1972 and during the summer after I got up and had breakfast I was as well as all kids in my neighborhood were shooed outside to play all day, come in for lunch and back out until dinner time. We played in the creeks and woods and was the best time of my life. I wish I could go back

Hello this is my first time watching you. Thank you for doing grandpa🎶. One of my favorite songs of the Judds.
It is a good time to bring up that mental illness is a serious disease. And the people that have it need attention. And often times it’s medical attention. Sometimes they’ll get the right medical attention and sometimes they don’t. But they have to be paid close attention too, especially when they start talking about dying. My nephews wife committed suicide five years ago. And although she was getting medical attention they were messing with her meds and that can be very dangerous.
It is evident from a song that Naomi sang with her daughter Winona several weeks ago on stage for a special event, that she was struggling very badly from her mental illness. It was obvious to me because I’ve seen her live many times over many decades.
Sad situation but we can be thankful for the Bibles promise of the Resurrection.
Meaning that Naomi will get the opportunity to live again when the earth is cleansed. (Psalm chapter 37, especially versus 9-11, 22, 29, 34. )This is what will happen.
I will give some scriptures for those that would like to look it up and examine these possibilities. (Acts 24:15,; John 5:28,29,; 11:11~44)
In the meantime may Naomi sleep peacefully awaiting that future paradise earth 🌏
