The word ''Progression'' doesn't always mean moving forward or doing the correct thing or going in the right direction! But wisdom passed down by elders will always help keep you from messing up in the future !
Progression is rarely a good thing, not as an ideal. Chang is needed sometimes, but change without specific reason is just another word for chaos, for change is choatic.
Mama He’s Crazy is one of my favorite songs from the Judds. But they have so many great hits, I can’t pick just one. It’s more like I have a list of favorite Judds songs.
As a child. We all got up and sang this to my papa for his birthday, he loved it. Always talked about that memory and how he felt so loved. When he was on his death bed again, he brought it up... all of his grandchildren got up at his funeral and sang it for him again. But as she sang "Daddies really never go away" I looked at my mom and aunts... and I just broke. Fell to the ground crying and couldn't finish. Thankfully I was in the back behind a crowd of aus. My brother and cousin picked me up and held me up. Now I tear up everytime I listen.
This happens to be one of my favorite country songs. It hits home for me! My grandfather raised me the first 7 1/2 years of my life. My daddy went away so this touches me. The Judds are awesome!
I often sat at the kitchen table, on the floor by my grandpa’s feet listening to his stories and dreaming of times gone by. He was my inspiration for being a good man. We miss you Pops
Have you heard Dave Fenley's cover of it? It's great.. I randomly came across it at like 2-4am on Thanksgiving morning last year. I commented on it, and he replied almost instantly. I was surprised since it was like 4am on Thanksgiving. He replied a couple of times, and seemed humble and had a good sense of humor.
This song brings Jamey Johnson's "In Color" to mind. I think you'd enjoy that one Tasha...a little suggestion in case your list is too short (haha). I have a considerable number of decades under my belt during which time I've lived, worked and traveled all over our country and, based on that experience, I'd say the vast majority of Americans are kind, peaceful, hard working folks; rural and urban alike. I believe that holds true today. The difference I see is the level of political divisiveness and endless attempts to destroy civility among our fellow citizens. Self serving political ideologues demonize those who disagree and simply wish to live their lives as they see fit. You've heard all the name calling (racist probably being most typical) and seen the bullying, cancelling, etc. The American people must reject attempts to foment division, fear and hatred where it doesn't actually exist or we face a grim future. Make no mistake, political ideologues don't care about us or our society...they only care about their power, despite all the wearisome rhetoric.
25 years ago I did a oral report about the Judds.. I love them. I am always so uplifted and inspired by them.. I even named my daughter Naomi.. I love Rocking with the Rhythm of the Rain..
Just saw Wyonna Judd live in a small Texas music venue. Maybe 100 people? Wyonna, Cactus (her husband) and a bass player. Great night of music. The audience showed her lots of love and Wyonna returned the love in spades. She ended her 2 hour performance with the Pledge of Allegiance ! The audience all stood and said it with her. Great show. A nice Texas night out enjoying live music, beer. God Bless the Lone Star State.
Hey T can you give Tuesday's Gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd a listen. It's the song that was playing when my grandpa passed away. I believe that he sent me that song from heaven, it means a lot to me.
I treat everyone with respect until they give me a reason not to. That’s the way I was raised, and I was raised in the country, listening to country music.
Young lady, there's more good people than there are bad. It's just the bad people get a brighter spotlight than the good ones do. If you'd like to hear a positive song, I suggest, Everything is Beautiful by Ray Stevens.
Been watching your country journey. I love that you love country music and feel the message. Also, enjoy your commentary at the end of the videos pertaining to our world. Keep up the good work.
I just love this song…the Judds were a gift to country music..mother and daughter singing together beautifully. A testament to family with them singing about family…a double whammy. ❤️🔥 another great song is by Don Williams, I believe in you. I think, with your sensitivity, you would immediately vibe with the song. Love sharing your journey, you are a lovely, thoughtful young woman. Makes me hopeful after all! ❤️🔥
Thus song always makes me cry. But has a way of asking me feel at peace, thinking about my pawpaws stories. I will never get to hear another one but I am thankful for the memories.
One if my favorite Judds tunes. I am significantly older than you young lady and I assure you things have changed drastically, and not necessarily for the best. I love your reactions and opinions. Keep up the good work.
ah yes, when the respectable were respected, good was good, bad was bad, men were men, when life wasnt a drag.. when beauty wasnt mocked, when doors werent locked, when people cared alot and everything wasnt for not
An artist named Dave Fenley has an amazing cover to this song with 14 million views. I watched and commented on it at like 4am on Thanksgiving morning last year, and he replied almost instantly. I told him how great I thought it was, and then I edited my comment to ask if he had been on one of those singing shows, because his name sounded vaguely familiar. He said something like yeah, he was on the Voice and America's Got Talent, but didn't win. And jokingly called himself a fat loser. Lol He replied to me a second time. He seemed very humble with a sense of humor. Was surprised he was up in the middle of the night on Thanksgiving morning, and replied to my comments.
Miss my granddaddy He was my heart If I ever needed a kind word He was always there When he passed me & my daddy both lost a large part of my heart Love you granddaddy
One of My Mother and I's favorites. We seen this wonderful Mother & Daughter duo at Bush Gardens, Virginia in 1986. Thank you so much for this wonderful memory. 👌🏻❤️
I really enjoyed your reaction to this great song! It does seem, at times, that people are angry a lot. But, I want to believe that most people are good. We, unfortunately, hear more bad news than good. I remember having so much fun as a kid without any computer, cell phone or video games. Even later as a young adult I didn’t have news at my finger tips all day long. The best times are times I spend with family!
I love that there are good people out there, like you and your husband. The good guys have to stick together because it really seems like us versus them, in terms of the good guys and the bad guys. Thanks for being so positive. God bless.
You gotta do some Ms. EmmyLou Harris!!!! She is a Queen of Country!❤❤❤ "Boulder To Birmingham", "Two More Bottles of Wine", "Easy From Now On", "To Daddy", "Tougher Than the Rest", "Tulsa Queen",.... She has sooo many hits... She was also part of "Trio", which had Dolly Parton and Linda Ronstadt singing with her... They were magical singing together... You gotta try Trio's "The Sweetest Gift"... ❤❤❤
Great stuff Tasha. oh the Judds and the 80's. Man I used to have such a huge crush on "mama" Judd when I was a teenager. Oh and btw, reactors/reactions like TNT help people like me as well. I used to think people like me didn't exist just like you guys. And then I found reactors on YT. I was late to the game I think, not finding "reactors" until late 2019. But music/movie reactors and some podcast style ppl like B. Tatum and now Gothix (thanks to Tasha mentioning her once in a reaction here) is about 90% of what I watch on YT now. It's crazy how much I've grown addicted to watching specific channels instead of mostly random YT's... Officer Tatum, Gothix, TNT, Jamel aka Jamal, Half & Jai, Sushi, Brad & Lex... I don't know how I find the time to sleep and work anymore.
Listen to "Love Can Build a Bridge" by the Judd's. The video is really awesome. The Judd's have a lot of great songs. Also Wynona Judd has many great songs from her solo career.
I’m a new grandpa, I am glad I don’t have the stories of the Great Depression or The Dust Bowl. We were poor just not as poor as my family was when I was a kid. Something they don’t teach anymore is look the person in the eye, square your shoulders, stand up straight, give the person a firm hand shake, and if you say you’re going to do something do it. A deal or a contract can be made with a handshake
The lyrics were, Do lovers really fall in love to stay? There's too many traumatized vets and civilians out there to be able to feel happy every single day and it's not their fault they can't. As things happen and unfold through your life, it's unlikely you will as easily be able to turn on a nice carefree spirit. Maybe the world will get back to the good old days... someday.
Hi Tasha it's your neighbor in austell. You reacted to Dwight Yoakum a while back. Thank you for that. I would like to request a Vince Gill and Sara Evans song. The original video if you can upload it. I know you tube blocks a lot. The song is NO PLACE THAT FAR. It's a great love song. True love never dies
The whole pandemic has shown the true colors of a lot of people. Whether it's their rude entitled behavior at the supermarket or simply looking at you as less then because you are in the same space as them. Hopefully we can overcome this poison.
Rest easy Naomi (mama Judd) Mama he's crazy is a great one as well. Wynonna (daughter and lead vocals) also has a solo career you should check out some of her stuff.
There have been just a dozen or so country stars through the years, maybe a few more, that I'd say had or have what I call a huge dose of "country soul". Hank Jr and Sr, Travis Tritt, Loretta Lynn, Morgan Wallen, etc. Winona Judd is absolutely on this short list.
My Maria BW Stephenson (1973) Let That Pony Run. Pam Tillis Independence Day. Martina McBride Broken Wing. Martina McBride Foolhearted Melody. George Strait
Her mother, the other Judd, is the lady with the little girl in the video. Wynona has an amazing voice. Worth exploring more, for sure. Another singer about this time that I’m not sure if you have reacted to or not Is Trisha Yearwood. I love her song “She’s in Love With the Boy”. Trisha is married to Garth Brooks.
My PawPaw always said there's nothing new under the sun...people still mean...just have new technology to be meaner and mean in new ways. Bit he always believed folks are really good beneath all the surface politics. He hated politics and refused to vote the last 20 years of his life...claimed they are all crooks. Said politics never helped anybody. He grew up during the depression and a WWII vet, hated war and politicians. Loved that man.. Mom and Dad died when I was 10 and he raised me. Family was all that mattered, really, still true.
the song applies today more than it ever did. good is called evil and evil is called good.
Hear grandpa
JESUS said it would be so, in the last days, HE can come any day.
I can always count on Tasha to say a kind and gentle word and make me feel a little bit better. The world needs more young ladies like Tasha.
Mama He’s Crazy is one of my favorite songs from the Judds. But they have so many great hits, I can’t pick just one. It’s more like I have a list of favorite Judds songs.

As always, you just “get” Country. Certainly tells a story! Always be humble and kind!!!
This happens to be one of my favorite country songs. It hits home for me! My grandfather raised me the first 7 1/2 years of my life. My daddy went away so this touches me. The Judds are awesome!
This is such a beautifully simple song, that has a timeless message.
Thx! Just love the subtle harmony part! I think most of us long for simpler times! -Terry
Love Can Build A Bridge by The Judds is my favorite song by them and one with a message we all need to hear again and again.
Love can build a bridge.....you would love that song from The Judd's
I love this song. I tear up listening to this. ❤
I often sat at the kitchen table, on the floor by my grandpa’s feet listening to his stories and dreaming of times gone by. He was my inspiration for being a good man. We miss you Pops

I absolutely love the Judds. Love Can Build A Bridge is another really good one.
like you said, this song stands the test of time. I love to pick guitar and sing it and to this day, I can't sing it without a tear in my eye.
I am 77. Back when there was a thing called respect. My parents were nuts about treating people with respect.
This has always been one of my favorite songs by the Judds. I miss the good old days too.
This song brings Jamey Johnson's "In Color" to mind. I think you'd enjoy that one Tasha...a little suggestion in case your list is too short (haha).

What you wrote should be required reading. I'm well into my 7th decade, and I often feel what you said, just not able to articulate it as well.
25 years ago I did a oral report about the Judds.. I love them. I am always so uplifted and inspired by them.. I even named my daughter Naomi.. I love Rocking with the Rhythm of the Rain..
Just for the record, my wife and I have been married for 35 years now. Come what may.

This has always been my favorite Judy's song. My Grandaddy died a week ago today from Covid and pneumonia and it hits harder than ever..😭😭😭😭😭😭
So sorry for your loss, my Grand Pappy died in 1974 and this song still makes my cry.
I’m sorry for your loss, mine passed in 2005. It’s always hard but you got to push forward. God bless
My Grandpa-Man passed away August 6th from Leukemia and sirhosis.
You have our condolences. Tasha and I will keep you in our thoughts n prayers.

Absolutely
Amazing, it’s the same person.

R.I.P. Naomi Judd. You will be missed.
That's momma Judd she's watching hug the little girl. This was one of their BIG hits. I love it.
100% right ! People do not know how to be nice to people ! They are some but it seems like a lot are fools ! Just be nice to people !
I just love this song…the Judds were a gift to country music..mother and

Another good one by the Judd's is "Why not me" you'll enjoy it.

Families always bowed their heads to pray. It’s unfortunate we have lost that now.Families who pray together…stay together❤️❤️
Their sound was just so perfect.
This song makes me cry.
I agree, i wish there is more good people in the world. I always wanted to help everyone that’s how I was brought up, to have a heart and respect
The good ol days ,,like a ship ,have sailed.⛵ Nice to see smiles and good music.🎼🌷🎸 Thanks
Rest In Peace Naomi Judd
It really was the good old days. People just didn't get caught up in the crap that people do today.
This was my Grandpa’s and my song. He died in 2007 and I still have trouble hearing this without losing it
ah yes, when the respectable were respected, good was good, bad was bad, men were men, when life wasnt a drag.. when beauty wasnt mocked, when doors werent locked, when people cared alot and everything wasnt for not
Played this at my grandfather's funeral back in 9/11/2000. I miss him so much. 😔
A beautiful song with a timeless theme.
Excellent song and excellent reaction. I love watching you react to good old country songs!
I see two good people every time I watch TNT. It’s therapy for me. Thanks!
This song reminds me of my childhood.

We lost a country music legend over the weekend. RIP Naomi Judd. Prayers for Wy and Ashley and the rest of the Judd family at this time of mourning.
one of my favorites
The woman singing is backed up by her Mother. Her sister is the movie star Ashley Judd.
Amazing song. Means SO very much.
I love that there are good people out there, like you and your husband. The good guys have to stick together because it really seems like us versus them, in terms of the good guys and the bad guys. Thanks for being so positive. God bless.
Any Judds song is a winner in my eyes.. My all time fav Duo.
You are Correct ! It is the Me Generation Now ! All People care about is there Self

Would love to see you react to some KT OSLIN. ...start with 80'S Ladies
I always liked “I’ll Always Come Back” and “Do Ya?”
Or DO YA
This song is SO appropriate for today 😞
This song always makes me cry! Especially the part that says did daddies really never go away. Ugh
My niece played this for my dad at his funeral. Makes me miss him so bad.
I love this song. Really hits home.
AMEN
RIP Naomi Judd
It's 80's. I love these ky ladies. I use to sing " mama hes crazy " to my baby girl when I rocked her to sleep 💤😴 stopped her fussing immediately
There are good people in the world… and you and T are right up there. You give all of us hope too Tasha - you are a truly kind and good soul.
Nostalgia always makes the good ol' days seem so much better than they actually were.
I’m Gen z and I have spent years researching the old days and they where much much better then today.
You would enjoy Mama hes crazy by the Judds.
Yes it is relevant!! Beautiful song! Thanks Tasha!
Please review some form the Bellamy Brothers, maybe “Let your love flow”.
May I suggest "Daddy's Hands"? You will enjoy it!
I remember very well growing up a man was only as good as his word. Business deals didn't need drawn up just a handshake. Its way different now.
We need way more country in America today.
Listen to "Love Can Build a Bridge" by the Judd's. The video is really awesome. The Judd's have a lot of great songs. Also Wynona Judd has many great songs from her solo career.
This was my jam when I was little 🤍✨
This song came out in '85.
My daughter and I sang this to my grandpa at his 90th birthday
Had this song at my wedding.

keep being who you are. People will keep loving you.
I love your reactions. Happy you are exploring more country music. I wish you would explore more Reba McIntyre

My dad used to say, "I guess idiots can't help being idiots, but I wish they would stay away from the rest of us."
I’m lucky still have my grandfather tells me same stories over and over but I still listen cuz I won’t be able to hear them anymore once he’s gone
Daddy's Hands
Song by Holly Dunn
Loved it. I forgot how good they are. Thanks 😊
Naomi Judd actually passed away on the 30th of May 2022, RIP, Naomi
There have been just a dozen or so country stars through the years, maybe a few more, that I'd say had or have what I call a huge dose of "country soul". Hank Jr and Sr, Travis Tritt, Loretta Lynn, Morgan Wallen, etc. Winona Judd is absolutely on this short list.
