You're the best Revit channel ever! Thank you so much!
Besides the comments below to try to fix LED strip light not rendering such as checking the 'shared' box in the properties of the singular light source and the whole strip, and setting the "Graphic Display Options" "Lighting" "Ambient Light" to 40....
I also changed the strip's family category to "Lighting Devices" instead of "generic models". After that, adjusting rendering "Artificial lights..." settings based on Balkan Architect's "Interior Lighting in Revit Tutorial" worked for me.
For the problem of LED strip not repeating beyond initial length in the LED strip family, you must follow his instructions directly regarding aligning and locking the first and last LED lights of the strip.
I really like your tutorials, short and simple! 💯
YOU ARE GREAT SIR , I NEVER SEE YOU LIKE A REVIT TUTOR , THANKS
Thank Balkan for the nice video like always. We are waiting to learn more creating family.
thankyou so much i have learninng revit everyday from here

Thanking you

Cool 🔥
Thank you.😫 I did it ...it wasn't perfect perfect but did ok need more practice
thank you so much.
it was really helpful
Have you actually tried if it works? I have tried it step by step several times, but no luck. The lights do no render!!
thank you bro
Thanks
Seems a complex way of doing LED. I have been using 'material' glowing, or backlit and do a long strip shape. Looks amazing around the projects. Renders very well in Enscape.
The problem with using material settings for this is that it will not cast light in renderings in Revit. It will work in enscape or vray, but this is a Revit channel, so I have to find a solution that works for everyone. 🙂
Yeah Material glow method is nice than this one, this will load the pc and may hangs it, better to do renderings in Vray or Enscape.
Nice
Is it your only job to make revit tutorials and courses? If so that’s amazing.
It's a side hustle - even more amazing
God of revit
How do we adjust the brightness and the color of this family? I find that it may be too much for interior settings and would like something a little dimmer and softer.
Can we place this family in curved-shaped areas or does it have to be a straight line surface?
What can I do if when I render it displays no light?
My guy :D
Thank you... We wish to download family directly from your page
Great family and thanks for that! I wonder how you think about having a light, coming out of nowhere, I mean shouldnt you show some kind of lighfixture to improve realism?
Hi, you can change the material of that little cilinder in to a light emitting material and then the individual lights would glow as well
sorry sir, But i can't see lights in render image. I have placed strip in the room. i selected interior artficial only. i don't know... why i can't see lights . whole render image is black. In process of rendering, i watched 0 no. of lights in artificial lights. even, i placed strip.i don't know what is happaning. can u help me?
Hi. I proved to do this family, but in render i see the single circle lights and not an indirect total light. Why?
the light casts a light spots on wall when i render. Any solution ?
For some reason, when I try to select the almond for the array it won't all me to?
Why the hell did I check my laptop fan sound when you hit render !! 😄😄😄😄 #rendertension
hello sir, But its not working while I render it through v-ray ... any suggestions ?
It seems its not true way to creat a line lighting, why didnt you choose line shape at the first. I tried to do it but my lines are too short and it doesnt cover whole the wall, and another problem is the light source, it looks circle not line.
Thank you for the video! But I can't seem to be able to place it in my project? I'm in a 3D view and it says it can't be placed' based on view but I switched around so many times. Any solution?
Probaste usando la camara y usando una perspectiva
I need idea to make fiberoptic lightning on ceiling need real help
are the parameters optional? not understanding why
Hello, why is that when I try to render this led strip it doesnt detect it as a light source... only when I place a single led light which you have created then it does detect it and is able to render it...
check shared box in both families and then reload into the project
I did exact same things/process but when i am rendering there is no light.. please help me
Same problem
SAME, probably the lighting is not detected as lighting but only as generic line model during the rendering process
what if i dont have IES? where i can get that
Thanks so much, is there a way we can download your families from a link?
All of my project files are available on my Patreon page (first link in the description of the video) 🙂
when i render i cant see the lights they do not light up
Hi "Balkan". I subscribed to your channel some time ago as your videos are fantastic. Thank you. However, I’ve repeated this tutorial twice now and I still don’t see any lights? I’ve tried adding them to several different projects, checked that I haven’t flipped the lights the wrong way, and I’ve gone really slowly through your tutorial to make sure I didn’t miss any steps, and I have "Exterior Artificial" in the Render dialogue window etc ... but still nothing. I have Revit 2019. Do I need to install 2020? Or is there some setting I need to change to make the lights show up? I do hope you can steer me in the right direction. Thanks!
I’ve solved it. In case anyone else has the same problem, I went to Visibility Graphics >Model Categories>Lighting Fixtures ... "Light Source" was not checked. 👍😊
I spoke too soon. It worked in a small test project but not in all projects. Aaaaagh!
@@designunlimited6215 have you solved the problem? i have the same thing
@@designunlimited6215 :(
abdulrahman atassi ... sort of. I couldn’t get it to work in an existing model, so I quickly created a new project with a few walls and roof and inserted the light fitting there. That worked! I’m not sure but I think in the existing project I opened to test out the lighting, the ceiling/roof structure may have been a bit complex and I suspect It had something to do with the geometry. Have you tried creating a simple structure and putting your lights there?
Don't forget to click the share parameter!
why cant import the lighting fixtur to my project ?????????
When I go to extend to see if it adds more lights to the array, it does add the lights but they do not stretch to the new dimension. Any tips
same problem
Same problem
I clicked "Append To End" and that fixed this problem
Hello sir, im stuck while placing the light family into a project. When I drag the reference line on the plane where the lights to be fixed, they dont get fully arrayed on the line. Its weird.I did all the steps perfectly as yours. Please help !
Hey, I had the same problem. Easy to fix. Make sure when you are aligning the LED Family to look it in place. So parent family to be locked and then the Array to be aligned and then locked. This should fix your problem.
Can I get lighting (external & internal) families?
Can u send it to my mail
The lights do not light up in renders
The family doesn't work! Generic model-based metric does not work. The metric linghting apparatus is fine. Why it does not work?
Doesnt work properly when applying to to a model. The "strip" does not expand in numbers, just stays the same as in the "family".
You didn't lock in place while aligning
@@juwon_ had this issue too and this totally fixed it! Thank you!!
its not working I did everything one by one
I don't have those templates
What should I do now?
So many things, MAx was more easy to do this, revit is to complicated😪
Well none of your videos work, I do practice every day something is always missing in your video. And yeah this is difficult method just make the pc loads and hangs it,
PLEASE SHARE THE STRIP & SINGLE LIGHT WHICH YOU HAVE CREATED, I WILL BE OBLIDGED..
THANKS ... 🙏🙏
