In my believes they are not too harsh. I’ve done a PCA submission myself a while ago and the majority of cards got a 9,5 and even one got a 10! Only one 9 and one 7 (which I kind of expected haha). The slabs are pretty cool. Weird choice not capitalizing the quality description all the way through. They do seem quite harsh. Hard to understand the reasoning without comment or subgrades.

This is a really bad company !! Card are bend before they put it in the case, there is a big problem with communication, 0 answer by mail or phone like if there nobody !! Don’t go there or watch French UA-camr before. Your card can be damaged in this company
So I would actually avoid them they have really gone down hill on the customer service side! I honestly will never use them again! When I get my last lot of cards back the review will not be kind lol
Those slabs are beautiful especially with the gold borders and gold star up the top! My fave has got to be the legendary collection pikachu such a cool card, love all of these submissions! Also very happy for you about your mum what a blessing and especially to pack all of them cards on that special day, congratulations matt looking forward to the next video🙏🏼

I love the pca slabs but I'm super disappointed with them as a company. The first time I used them they sent me someone else's (much more valuable) cards. I got in touch and we got it sorted and I got my cards back I then sent a second submission in May and I'm still waiting and they haven't responded to my calls, emails or messages since May. I don't mind waiting for my cards (was supposed to be 45 weekday turnaround but its been like 70 days) I just wish they could reply to my messages
I have read that they have just hired an extra comms person and 3 "production" staff (not sure if that means grading staff or what) so hopefully your order moves soon. I'm waiting on some from July, also promised 45 work day turnaround, but comms are like the #1 thing that people have criticised. A real shame. I get the demand has gone up so turnaround times will increase but personally I would rather be kept in the loop. If there's a delay then it's disappointing but at least say what's going on and what the delay would be, and that would soften the blow somewhat. 🤷♂️

Dude the look at these slabs the fit of the cards omg I’m in love. To bad I’m American and psa is what’s dominant on the market. So probably won’t be seeing and pca slabs at the moment but damn do they look nice !!

I just bought a slab off eBay to check them out it was only £30 I really like the look but they are really slim makes me feel like they would break easily but I think I will send my cards off with them
I sent a submission to PCA at the end of June, which my courier says was delivered at the start of July, but the PCA website still doesn't confirm they're received. I've got no problem with waiting 4-6 months to get the cards back, but not knowing whether they're received and not being able to get through to anyone is insane. The solution seems obvious - stop any new submissions, because they clearly can't cope with the number they're receiving. And hire customer service staff to work through the backlog of queries. PCA have to realise that customer service this bad will completely ruin their reputation - I can't imagine that anyone who currently has cards with them would ever trust them again. My submission included all 16 base set holos, in near mint condition...
You can’t have a 10 anymore with PCA… I m pretty sure if you send your PCA 9 at PSA you can have a 10. But PCA bend your card before put in the case, there many video about this be careful

Never use PCA!! The lost our submission of 285 in April 2021 and they promised to refund everything but they never did. Also they make a lot of misstakes in labels and incorrect grading. The lie about everything our last submission we had to wait for 1,5 year. And still ignoring our request about a refund for the stolen cards.

Couple of points worth mentioning: PCA has the worst reputation in France, mostly about their lack of communication, and when it comes to an order that’s worth multiple thousands, that’s a bit more problematic. An issue I had with the slabs is that they might not be as sturdy as the PSA ones. I got one sent through mail by a friend, and it came with cracks cause by the handling. So just make sure they are well packed if you ever ship them out

Hey Matt have you ever used GRAAD? they are from Italy and the slab looks very clean too, I'm between them and PCA for grading some cards, what do you recommend, also my cards are on a toploader in a sealable dragon shield sleeve, is that good for sending to grade or should I swap for normal penny sleeves? Thanks in advance
Hey but....never heard of Graad so cant advise! PCA are far more known BUT it depends what you want to get from it like which case do you prefer are you looking to sell for money or is it personal collection? My choice would be PCA between the 2 Regards sending make sure all cards in the pennie sleeves then put them in a hard case say toploader semi regid of other cases etc then wrap them well and post in a box not a bubble mailer! hoppe this helps!
Definitely go with GRAAD in my opinion. Anytime I sent them a mail they replied back within a day. They have also arranged shipping for me, they are answering the call etc. and keep you updated all the time. So far so good with GRAAD. PCA just does not give a s*hit about customers anymore, you send your cards to them and if you are lucky you will see them back in 4-6 months - if you are unlucky they lose your package and you can wait ages for your compensation (if you every receive it). Please just avoid them.
@@mihalyjaszolos6458 I'm with you dude, I sent some cards to pca on july 16 the tracking number from my postal service say they are still in Rossy since the 19, in distribution, don't even know if they arrived or not, if they are on some postal warehouse or have arrived at pca, pca says nothing and my postal service is investigating, next time I'm going GRAAD for sure
Question for you (or anyone in the comments) - what is the best way to determine the value of my cards? Looking at something like eBay, the raw card prices of what I'm looking to submit seem to vary quite a bit...
So looking at eBay is the best place but make sure to look at the sold prices that gives you the best idea of value and make sure the condition looks similar to yours

Do you feel that they will enhance your collection and increase its value? I’ve held off grading with anyone but the big three due to the belief that as soon as PSA and such like get their sun turnaround times down all these lower tier grading services will die short, painful deaths. Plus I’d like to grade and then sell on to fund purchases for my private collection and I’ve seen PCA, PokeGrade & GetGraded cards sell for little over what it cost to get them graded in the first place and that’s not return on investment. If it it’s is not very much if you want to do that. PSA, CGC and BGS seem to be the only ones with a future still in grading. Also noting the slab dimensions, do they feel sturdy enough to stack 20+ together or would they break easily in your eyes?
Hey bud So PCA don’t add the same value as PSA etc but do add value they have been going far longer than anyone else in Europe....if you just looking for ROI then PSA CGC or BGS is the best bet I do love these slabs though and there is money to be made and turn around is soooo much quicker If your happy to wait got for the big guys otherwise give PCA a go

I wish they utilised the back of the label for sub grades and also made it white like the front 💪🏼

With PCA, the issue was, they had fires in the server room and they also have moved offices too... But I agree, their comms isn't that good.

Be aware that PCA bends your cards in order to fit them in the case (because the case is too small). Many french youtubers talked about this problem.

Both of those espeon cards are great.
Slabs are my favorite, I only have a few cgcs
CGC are awesome looking for sure plus these from PCA
